Loved our visit to makkah. Stayed in emaar grand hotel. Group of 9. Everything was good. Just needed some toilet tiles work. The rest is 5*.
Would visit again.

I recently stayed at the Emaar Grand Hotel in Mecca, booking a room advertised for five people. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially larger groups.
The room itself was incredibly tight for five beds. We were practically on top of each other, and there was barely any space to move around or store our belongings comfortably. This lack of space made our stay very uncomfortable and frankly, quite stressful.
Beyond the cramped quarters, the room service was also severely lacking. On multiple occasions, we tried to contact room service, but the phone simply went unanswered. This made it impossible to request basic necessities or address any issues we had.
Considering the high price we paid for this hotel, the level of service and the size of the room were completely unacceptable. It felt like we were significantly overcharged for a very poor experience.
If you are planning a trip to Mecca and require accommodation for more than a couple of people, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The Emaar Grand Hotel's cramped rooms and unreliable service are not worth the money or the frustration. Save yourself the disappointment and book a different hotel.

The only nice thing about the hotel is its interior. The hotel facilities were rubbish. The shower cubicle wouldn’t close properly and the water would wet the whole floor in the bathroom. The hair dryer in the bathroom has such low power that it will take you an hour to dry your long hair with it. The bathroom plumbing was horrific, whenever you run water you can smell of the gutter. The room ventilation system seems like it hasn’t been cleaned in years and would definitely make you sick!
The place just looks fancy from the interior used but has little to no facilities available. Breakfast was super bland and basic. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

Breakfast was good as we had breakfast included in our booking
I'll consider other options (distance from Haram and room service), before booking it again.

I am currently staying here and as I am writing this review i’m waiting for maintenance to come because my room power keeps stopping. We have only been here for two days tonight being the third and i am just honestly so ready to go home, which is upsetting.
1) the rooms are decent sized, as far as i know. our room was for three people so there were three beds. Very standard. However, the windows are broken and you can hear EVERYTHING outside.
2) the toilet smells and is always 24/7 hot. It’s very tight and cramped. and once again like every other review we were only given two towels despite being three people. Normally hotels i’ve been to you get at least two towels per person the second one being a smaller towel??!
3) THE LIFTS. If you want clarity and a peace of mind please don’t even consider booking here! There are so many lifts but there are WAYY MORE people. You can wait for the lift for almost 1 HOUR
4) Lastly the distance. It’s not worth your money it’s a long walk and isn’t “5 minutes”!
All in all i definitely will not be staying here the only bonus points is the staff excluding reception!

The location is about 7-8 mkns walks from the entrance of haram gate 79 .
The hotel itself looks very presentable but rooms are very dated and need refurbishment. Frontbif house need better Customer service skills especially the lady at reception who when posed with a problem seems to uses gestures and arrogance as her way to deal with issues.
The gentlemen and the service guys are very helpful and pleasant.
Having stayed for a few days with several problems and then room changes this seemed to be common as many other guests had the same issue and same broken promises. For a hotel with ample rooms it seemed like they just couldn't be bothered.
Broken telephones broken lights , lack of facilities and 1 iron to use amongst the hundreds of rooms and you won't get one for 3 days and even then you only can use for 1 hr, constant trips to reception but all broken false promises.
The good things about the place is it is value for money and you could see that once upon a time it was 5 star but now pushing 3 stars. The location is on Ibrahim al khalil St with plenty of food and shopping available nearby.

Alhamdulillah We arrived on the 24th July 2023 from Malaysia. The lady reception is really nice and polite. She makes the check in process really straight foward and fast for me and my father. May Allah ease her life. The breakfast is good. The hotel is around 10-12 minutes to Haram. Room is big and toilet is clean.Aircond is superb. Wifi also very fast. Im grateful to found this hotel even is not like the nearest or higher star to masjid..
Its still a good and clean room. Also theres a lot of shop/food along the way to hotel from masjid. So you wont be feel like walking far. InsyaAllah will come back.

To be honest when I read the reviews of this hotel I had a different image in my head. But my stay proved the reviews wrong. It was a lovely hotel. House keeping were 5 âï¸. Always helpful, gave everything i needed. Cleaned the room when I asked. Like I said housekeeping were just GREAT. The location of the hotel was in the BEST place. Everything in my convenience and the best thing was that it was just a 10min walk to haram shareef. I will give it 5/5

Terrible service and hotel management.
Booked a 4 persons room, it was terrible as the beds were laid out in a very awkward position that left no other space in the hotel room, we barely had enough space to open our suitcases.
The hotel management in general is poor, they don't clean the rooms properly. Everytime we ask for water bottles they either only give 2 or don't give any. We had a minor incident where we needed to check the CCTV footage for our floor, it took 3 days for us to finally get somewhere with this.
Hotel manager is rude and walked off as we were speaking to him. The reception staff again is incompetent and does not seem to care about anything.
The switches are really strange as the sockets are connected to the lights in the room, everytime u want to charge your phone etc u have to keep the light on which is really really strange.
The only thing that was decent was the food. Breakfast and dinner items are always fresh and they change the dishes they make quite often . The tables are cleaned frequently and food gets replenished every time it finishes.

Receptionist lady at the Restaurant upstairs on Thursday 23rd February 2023 during dinner time was so rude. She doesn’t have basic manners. I asked nicely if they can heat my kids food, instead of refusing nicely, she pointed me to the door in front of everyone. SO RUDE!

Please don't waste your valuable money. Toilets are so dirty that we had to shift to another room but again no better! Overall, very very poor. Customer service was unacceptable. Also there is no WIFI connection only accessible in ground floor but no access in rooms, the food is quite acceptable Will never recommend this....

It's a 10-minute straight walk to harm. No uphill or downhill. So was comfortable for kids to walk.
They have a separate floor for a restaurant which we didn't use. Floor for Parking and a floor for Prayer hall.

This is a very good hotel compared to the other hotels in the vicinity. It’s located in Ibrahim Al Khalil street, about 1 Km walk from the Haram (about 15-20 minutes walk depending on your speed). I have booked a quad room. It was spacious, clean and doesn’t smell. It had street view, from the 8th floor, beds and linen were clean, bathroom was well maintained and clean. The room is spacious enough for the needs, there is a kettle and facility to make coffee, and there is a small fridge.
Electronic card keys work fine with no issues. There is a small wardrobe / hanger for clothes. The single beds and mattresses are comfortable. I would give this room / hotel an overall rating of 8/10. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was almost seamless with no issues.
It did take few minutes longer to check in more than necessary, but compared to other hotels in the region and previous experiences, it was really good.

There is two hotel towers we were in tower A so I don't know about tower B. From the outside, lobby restaurant tower A was 4 star but the room was a little 3 star - no carpet and the bathroom was not as modern for 4 star rating. Also there was no WiFi connection in the room even though we were 4 floors up - only in the lobby could you get a better connection. Breakfast buffet was good.

Great location to stay in to visit Masjid E Nabawi. Mere a 5 minutes walk to Gate 339 & Gate 340. The buffet was extensive but bland. The restaurant staff was not very helpful and even asking for utensils took 10 minutes to get. The elevators were really messed up and took a long time to show up ( Something they can improve on ).It took us 3 hours to check-in at 7 PM as the rooms were not ready and they cared less about when you got your room keys ( A big improvement needed ).

The location was great as it was a minute walk to the masjid directly by the ladies entrance. the room itself was quite small & not storage facilities for luggage. we had to put our suitcases under the desk. the bathroom was VERY bad, there was mold in the sink, it would make me gag every time I saw it. the shower wasn’t clean, open shower so water would go everywhere & very dated. I paid for breakfast but there was nothing good to eat. I wouldn’t waste my money on the breakfast and rather go out to eat as there’s many food places right outside. I’ve stayed at the Address hotel in Makkah and their breakfast options were 10/10. I wish this hotel had more variety; avacado, beans, toast, sausages, better quality of tea & juices.

Honest Review: First impressions were wow! Very clean inside reception and very modern looking. Definitely looks like a 5* hotel compared to a 4*
Check in was a breeze. Came with my wife and child and was very easy to go to masjid nabawi which was one street away. Estimate 1-2 minute walk go actual gate. For women it was very good as was near the women side. This was essential as we had a 11 month old. Very happy with location. Slightly abit longer for men if they want to pray inside. Had no trouble with getting down or up the elevators. Probably waited a minute max if it was currently in use.
Room was very modern looking, beds were nice and tidy and tbh we never use the cleaning services when at hotels. Always put DND on to avoid people coming into rooms. This time i had used the services as there was always someone on the floor to help you. I had one issue with the shower handle falling off. I let the staff know and a handyman came within a couple of minutes. The one real issue i had at this hotel was the safe inside the room i always check if they are working before actually putting anything inside. This time i checked it and it had locked and was unable to get it unlocked. Rang reception twice about this issue and still no one has come which is disappointing.
Bathroom was generally okay not the best or modern but did the job. Shower was large but did not have a handheld shower head only a rainfall shower head and a tap. They had a separate sitting bidet and a handheld shower bidet. Bath towels were slightly on the smaller side compared to my makkah hotel but did the job. They gave lots of amenities. Including dental kit, shaving kit, soap shower gel, shampoo etc.
Free water was included with our stay. Anytime you was thirsty they were more than happy to give you how ever much u wanted. We used the tea service once. It didn't come with coffee pods but we had told reception and they had sent some. Came with green tea etc.
COLD!!! If i had one thing to complain about it would be that the room we was in was cold. We didn't even use the AC during the time we stayed as room was generally at 20° constantly. No heat option availably. Our other room was much warmer it may have just been the room we stayed in.
View: construction site of the mosque expansion. May be a better view once the construction has finished.
I would definitely stay again :)
Didn't get breakfast from here as much cheaper to eat out. You have Karak express and kudu about 30 seconds to 1 minute away. They also have a gissah in the lobby. There was also men and women only gyms available. Never used them but decently equipped if there's only 5 people going.

The hotel is very close to Gate 339, which is the entrance for women. I stayed in a 4-bed room with three other pilgrims. The room was quite comfortable, and they provided bottled water and enough amenities for the four of us. Although I felt there wasn’t much space to put our suitcases and other belongings (but after comparing it with the room I stayed at in Makkah, the room at Deyar Al Eiman was still much more decent).
The service was great, and the housekeeper was really friendly—turned out he was Indonesian too, just like me. His name was Mas Abdurrahman, and he was super helpful during our stay.
As for the food, at first I thought the menu lacked variety, but again, after comparing it to the one in Makkah, this one was definitely better.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

Absolutely fantastic location with a short quick walk to gate 339. This location and gate is Ideal for families with kids and elders. We had a room with haram view alhamdulillah.
The rooms were comfortable with great beds and pillow options. Service and staff were excellent and they are very generous with refills of supplies and water in the room. You can stay at this hotel without having to carry any toiletries.
Multiple lifts which are quick and spacious even during busy times.
Overall very impressed with the hotel, rooms and service. Highly recommend and will definitely book again inshallah.

We had a really bad experience at this place. The hotel looks good from the outside but the rooms are stinky and really in a bad shape the washrooms are dirty full of dunk. The stuff was really good we asked to change the room and then they offered the room change second room was just like that but still manageable. The advertised food to be good however they cater mainly to the Malaysian Indonesian communities and they make breakfast and food for them specifically so if you like that kind of food I recommend that you go there if you don't like that kind of food try another hotel it is really close to the mosque and it's really close to the woman's entrance the men's entrance is also nearby so it doesn't really her too much. The elevators are really confusing and so is the corridor. The hotel opens up from Shop owners the try to sell you as you walk past them and force you into their shops. They also give a really bad steer to the women that are with you. So be careful when you book a hotel it is not my top most priority but if you want close proximity then by all means go for it.

Only location is good rest.nothing worth to mention. Building is very old dated. Beds are not comfortable. Staff is just ok. Hotel suspends all room cards at 12.00pm so everyone has to go to reception for renewing. Does not meet the requirements of even 4 star. Late check out rate is also very expensive even more than night rate.of other hotels in same area and same category.
Would not recommend it to anyone for this price tag.

Gate 26 of An-Nabawi is just a stone throw away from this. It's not a bad hotel but it could've been much better is all. The carpet in our room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. Only give star for its location that really close to gate 26 but the rest were big no no. I got my room key very late, it was the previous guest's fault for taking too long to check out but hotel staff did nothing, and the cleaning process was super slow that people from our tour management had to supervise them (🤣🤣🤣).
Got the key finally when maghrib almost came so I didn't have time to clean myself, it was so tiring after 10 hours on airplane + 6 hours on road.
I got my room still dirty with some garbage on the floor.
Staying there for 3 days, not even once my room was tidied up until my husband himself a bit angry told the housekeeping to clean it.
Come on guys, you serve Allah's guest with no hospitality at all and even so arrogant that you told us that we needed you. Careful for what happen later because Allah never be quite on His guests' difficulties.

Extremely thoughtful tour operator who made my family's requirements their priority and delivered a service well beyond my expectations. As I was travelling with elderly parents we had to take a few extra things into consideration to make my parents Umrah trip as comfortable and easy as we could make it. Went to them to sort out an anniversary trip to Dubai and not only were the prices better than I'd find, the luggage upgrade and the service was exemplary.

Extremely thoughtful tour operator who made my family's requirements their priority and delivered a service well beyond my expectations. As I was travelling with elderly parents we had to take a few extra things into consideration to make my parents Umrah trip as comfortable and easy as we could make it. The company advised regarding all aspects of our trip, even some things I hadn't given any thought to. They made the whole experience as comfortable as it could have been.
