Luxury Hotel, enough space in Lobby to sit and relax, very attentive staff at reception, rooms were clean but need an upgrade. Room service was quick and cleaning rooms everyday! Restaurants are very busy for breakfast and Dinner. Huge disappointment for food variety in breakfast, doesn't feel like a five star menu. The staff is very busy and request is not considered. They start removing food half an hour before the time finish for breakfast. Overall the stay was great but need to work on restaurants service and variety of food especially in Breakfast.

I stayed during my Hajj pilgrimage. The overall experience was excellent!
The hotel provided a spacious and well-maintained room that made a big difference during my pilgrimage. I was able to rest comfortably, which truly helped me recharge and made the entire experience much more pleasant. The fact that it has direct access from the hotel lobby to the ground floor of the Clock Tower also helps a lot.
I had several breakfasts at M3 Restaurant and was warmly welcomed by Usama, who hosted us with exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the service was attentive and genuinely friendly. The entire staff was kind, helpful, and made us feel very comfortable throughout our visit.
The food was delicious and perfectly suited to my taste, with a great selection and excellent presentation. I also appreciated the cleanliness and quality of the utensils, which added to the overall sense of care and professionalism.
Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Throughout my stay, every staff member I interacted with was attentive, courteous, and eager to assist with anything ensuring my room was perfectly prepared, their dedication to service was evident.
Special thanks to Jamal the bellboy, for their outstanding attention to detail and for making us feel like we are at home. He always ensures us to get everything we need. He is very helpful. It is rare to find such a consistent level of professionalism and friendliness, and it’s a big reason why I keep coming back

I recently stayed at the Fairmont Clock Tower Hotel for the second time, and once again, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The entire hotel radiates luxury and comfort — from the grand lobby to the impeccably clean, spacious rooms that make you feel right at home.
A special mention goes to Atyaf Restaurant, where the food selection was diverse, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, made even better by the outstanding service. One staff member in particular, Khairul, made a lasting impression on me. He was exceptionally kind, friendly, and polite — always ready with a smile and eager to assist with anything we needed. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly elevated our dining experience. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and professional, and he made us feel incredibly valued and welcome.
It’s experiences like this that make me choose the Fairmont Clock Tower Hotel time and time again. I loved everything about my stay and will certainly return — it will always be my first choice in Makkah.

What an awesome experience we had in this Hotel. Some people advised us not to go to this Hotel as it is busy and you have to use 2 lifts to get to Al Haram. These were so minor things that shouldn’t be considered in the grand scheme of things. Every aspect of our experience from every staff member was kind, hospitable and professional. A special shout out to Riyaaz Hassan, Mohammed Ibrahim the Restaurants Manager, Babar from the Cafe and one of the Duty Managers who served us, we truly believe Fairmont Hotel are lucky to have you all, your passion for customer service was excellent and flawless. You made us feel so welcome and special. We have stayed at many 5 star Hotels in the world and your Hotel is most certainly in our top 3. Your waiters Fahad and especially Rimzan who looked after us from start to finish at the Al Dira restaurant were so attentive and helpful. Thank you Fairmont Clock Tower Hotel, Makkah. We will definitely insha allah be visiting your Hotel again and next time insha allah with our children. The Hotel would also be convenient for the elderly and Wheelchair bound as it has its own mosque on S2 mashallah. Very highly recommend this Hotel.

I recently stayed in a triple room at the Fairmont Makkah, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious enough for three adults, with comfortable beds and a luxurious feel throughout. The décor was elegant, and everything was spotless upon arrival.
One of the biggest highlights is the direct view of the Haram, which made our stay even more spiritually enriching. We could hear the Adhan clearly, and the hotel even has live prayer broadcasts in the room.
The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the Masjid al-Haram, with easy access via elevators straight to the shopping mall and food court below. This convenience made it very easy for elderly family members.
Service was professional and courteous. Room service was quick, and housekeeping was attentive to our needs. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the in-room amenities (tea, coffee, toiletries) were well-stocked.
If I had to point out a downside, it would be the slightly slow elevator service during peak prayer times, which is expected given how busy the hotel gets.
Overall, highly recommended for families or groups looking for comfort, luxury, and proximity to the Haram

IThis was my first stay at the Makkah Clock Tower Fairmont Hotel, and I was truly impressed by the service quality, as well as the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, and I will certainly return in the future, insha'Allah.
Whenever we called room service for assistance, someone arrived promptly to help. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff members who made our stay so enjoyable—your attentiveness and dedication did not go unnoticed.
The buffet offered a wide variety of options, and the staff were very helpful and attentive. A special shout-out to **Sajid** (from the M2 restaurant team) for his kindness and excellent service. Toward the end of our stay, we also got to try breakfasy at the **M3 restaurant**, where **Maryam** stood out for her warmth, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine passion for ensuring guests’ happiness. Thank you for making our dining experiences memorable!
The hotel’s location is ideal, and I highly recommend the Fairmont to anyone visiting Makkah. We will definitely be back!
**One Small Suggestion for Improvement:**
The pillows could be firmer and thicker, especially for guests with back pain. A slightly more supportive option would enhance comfort for those who prefer a sturdier pillow.
Overall, a huge thank you to the entire Fairmont team for your kindness, politeness, and attention to detail. You made our stay truly exceptional

During my recent visit to a hotel in With, I had the pleasure of booking a suite room with a stunning view overlooking the Kaaba. It was an incredible experience to see the Black Stone up close and personal, making it the best day I've ever had. Additionally, it was a pleasant surprise to discover that the hotel has private lounges exclusively reserved for gold members, which I have been visiting almost every month. The breakfast buffet was one of the major highlights of my stay, as it was one of the largest I've ever seen and had a wide variety of food to choose from. Overall, my stay at this hotel was unforgettable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in With.

Unfortunately was a very bad experience starting from service to rooms to food. We have added certain requests to our rooms and when we arrived none of our requests were made. Additionally, only 1 out of 2 rooms was ready. The receptionist promised they will change out bed since we requested a king bed. After coming back from our umrah we were surprised to see that the two double beds were just combined. And in the process they had broken our suitcase. After reporting this, the attitude we received was them trying to let us think that the breakage was our fault. Not only did they handle the situation very poorly, they were placing the issue on us when the bag was completely fine before leaving the room. Now we are traveling and our bag is not working. Additionally, we had a half baked and when we went to dinner unfortunately the food was below average and cold and the service was below average. The staff are changing their words on wether drinks are included.
All in all they offer very high prices for very low quality and they lack professionalism. When you go to a 5 star hotel you do not expect to face any of these issues but unfortunately we have faced these issues which inconvenienced our trip. I would not recommend anyone to come here

Great hotel with easy access to the mosque & within a big shopping mall. Staff are great specially the one in the restaurant who were very friendly and helpful. Front desk and concierge staff are good but not very informative. Room was clean, good condition furniture, good amenities overall but no coffee machine. Room was really quiet. The room service is available 24 hours with nice menu to order at anytime.

I was there for 6 days with my family and it was a wonderful stay.
Rooms are specious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom looked hygienic and service was good.
Lobby looks luxurious with some good sofas and chairs.
Cons:
The room dining was a little disappointing as there were no varieties to order.
Also it will be great if they add some refreshments in the Fridge.

Save your money! This hotel has the "Fairmont" name but not their service or level of care you would expect from a Fairmont.
1- Front desk has no sense or urgency, people cut you in line while trying to check-in and the staff don't care.
2- Rooms are cold! There is no heating system. Our room remained at a cool 15-17degree C, despite the 3 times we called maintenance to fix the room temperature. Rooms furniture is also bare, old and limited. Looks like over used furniture from the 80s. We were on a suite and we're disappointed in the decor.
3- Barely anyone speaks English. I understand we are in an Arabic speaking country but you need more staff that understand English in the lobby.
4- Claims "..there are 8 dining options" but in reality you have one cafe with limited dining/menu options. The other "restaurants" are reserved for private groups.
5- We finally complained to the duty manager who did very little and to pacify us we got some dates, sweets, and coffee sent to our room. As if, that was going to compensate for the overall terrible hotel experience.
Pros-- great location and the lower level staff (bell desk+ waiters) are all super nice.

Breakfast was perfect, service at breakfast was amazing by staff member (Hafiz) as he was very kind and helpful and remembered our details every morning of our stay!
The scent of the whole building is amazing because of the universal scent devices.
Two negative comments here:
Room service is slow ، and sometimes they forget you called!
we asked for late check out but they refused more than 1 hour and they will charge half night for it, which kills the warmth of the place !

Excellent hotel, very near to the Haram. Everything was good. Plenty of quality and high end shops inside the Clock Tower, gives you a wonderful shopping experience. Floor number P3 and P4 are food court and suffice your need for lunch, dinner & breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. P4 has a very big supermarket too. On P9 they have a dedicated prayer area for the people staying inside the tower hotels. It is an experience in itself, a definite place to explore.

The experience fell far short of expectations; it was extremely disappointing, with unprofessional staff who seemed more focused on stacking guests and generating bills than providing quality service. Upon check-in, although the room had been cleaned, it had a strong, unpleasant odor that forced us to quickly drop our bags and leave in hopes of dissipating the smell, which unfortunately lingered throughout our four-day stay.
The air conditioning unit was leaking water all night. When I reported the issue in the morning, I anticipated it would be resolved by the time we returned. Despite visiting the front desk three times, the problem remained unaddressed until around 11 PM, when a technician finally arrived to clean the unit, which had a severely clogged filter. I found myself having to guide him on how to perform his job.
While waiting for the housekeeper, who took 15 minutes to arrive, I ended up cleaning the room myself using their mop. Additionally, the refrigerator emitted a foul odor that made us hesitant to open it even once. Overall, our four-day stay was a nightmare, but I felt trapped by my pre-booking and lacked the time to seek alternative accommodations due to my schedule and time constraint.
next time i would rather delay my trip than booking such place. i wonder how Ministry of tourism is seeing it all.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel. I booked my stay through an agent and paid in advance. When I arrived for check-in with my confirmed hotel voucher, they suddenly claimed that my name wasn’t on the booking. Seriously, what kind of service is this? The management and staff were extremely unprofessional and unorganized. It’s disappointing to see such poor hospitality in a city Madina that is known for its peaceful environment.

We booked this hotel for my sister via a friend residing in madina. The person standing at the reception took 4times higher rates from us and told that rates have been increased for Ramazan. We trusted and paid, then the booking slip provided by him was via an agency of Pakistan, and not showing the amount they took from us. When I asked about this issue. He said the voucher will be provided when my sister will reach there.
My sister reached and Upon asking again and again.... They didn't provided us the booking voucher... The person who booked it was disappeared and the agent whose account was used for booking closed his number. Manager of the hotel was unaware and said that the room was booked via Pakistan... Not from reception.
We found out the current rates and it was 4 times cheaper than the money they took from us on name of Ramadan.
I will request all the people who are thinking to book it please beware of scammers standing at their reception. These people are not afraid of Allah, even in the holy month of Ramadan... We will never forgive them... In sha Allah they will be accountable on the day of judgment. The hotel was 1 star with extremely bad service and pathetic people there. By this message I want to bring this issue to the owner of hotel and the ministry to please take action against the scammers who are cheating the innocent people's at the hotel reception.
Never ever select this cheaters hotel....
They will be answerable to Allah subhanaotaala.

The food which was being served in breakfast and dinner buffet was average. We stayed there for nine days but they were constantly repeating the dishes without much variation which was quite bizarre. The food lacks its authenticity and taste of the food is average too. They really need to pay attention to it otherwise it’s location and service is great. Secondly, the condition and quantity of the hotel’s elevators needs an attention too.

I will tell you my experience with this hotel.
I should come to the hotel on Thursday afternoon, but I couldn't because I stayed late in Mecca. On Thursday night I called the hotel to make sure the reservation was still valid. I pointed out that I was aware that I had to pay for the night I was not there. I spoke on the phone with a gentleman who, after receiving my reservation number, confirmed that nothing would be cancelled. the reservation would still be valid until my arrival tomorrow.
The next day, Friday at noon, I showed up at the hotel and a very rude man told me that my reservation had been canceled because I hadn't made the payment. he told me that I could make a new reservation, but not at the price I had made through booking some time ago. A new higher price of course. We don't have parking, he said. That man is very rude in communication. I was extremely irritated, but it was Friday prayer time and I left for prayer for almost 30 minutes.
After I returned again, Mrs. Jana was waiting for me at the reception. A completely different behavior, she made me a new reservation with my previous price, and did not include the night in which I was absent... She told me that they also had a parking lot but at a daily cost of 50 rials, great, I told her... I gladly accepted.
But Ms. Jana did not bill me for parking for two days of staying at the hotel.
Jana, thank you very much!
I think that your professionalism increased the value of the hotel in my eyes... and I enjoyed my stay in Medina immensely.
Thanks Jana!

The hotel staff are very friendly, especially Mr Mohamed who is in charge of the lower floors and Mr Sami who is in charge of the higher floors. They both made our experience exceptional. They are incredible, kind, courteous, and possess excellent communication and people’s skills. Thank you!
The hotel can benefit from more prompt reception, it took many of us 2 hours to get our rooms. There is an issue with hot water in the hotel (water cuts off from time to time) and an issue with the elevators. Be ready to spend some time waiting for the elevator to arrive.

The parking lot cost is high compare to the nearby competitors.
Most of the elevators are not working properly and efficiently. This cause delay for the customers. It seems need fixing and programming.

1. To start with it was implied while booking that there is a free parking but SAR 150 being charged when went there
2. Check-in process was good @ 7:30PM. however when i reached the room, door lock card was not working. Although room was good. When complained they kept on changing the cards but nothing was working.
3. After 4.5 hours midnight 12:30 they offered me replacement room which was very very dirty. on complaint they offered me other 4 rooms but all were not matching to the one i booked. all are dirty.
4. Finally i have to adjust to a room even though it was not good. Because me and my family with 2 kids were exhausted.
5. Because of this experience, we could not have enough sleep and proper rest.
I never had such bad experience in any previous 5 * hotels

I stayed here in 2019 for Hajj, the hotel, service, and view was amazing, I would recommend anyone to stay here and not anywhere else when you come to Madinah

I stayed a night at Shaza Almadina and it’s a walking distance to king Fahad gate. The room was a little smaller than The usual five stars hotels. The bed is big and comfy and the design is very hijazi region style. The air conditioner was a bit noisy. The receptionist was very friendly and had interesting chat with him and I checked early. Everyone in the hotel were very friendly.

Very nice hotel I liked it but there are some points to be taken care of. And this is why I gave 3 stars. The parking lot is very very tiny. American cars will be very hard to get in. The design (the engineers did not think of the big cars who are traveling to this place) is for small cars only. The other thing is that the rooms are little small. The room service could be better. The people who are cleaning the rooms will not care about the sign of do NOT disturb. They open up the door when you are asleep!!!! The last thing I want to mention is Tips.. Everyone is expecting it..
Maybe I will give it a chance again if these things mentioned up are fixed....

What I didn't like is the narrow parking lot and how is very few. Another thing that bothered me is the electricity outlets in the room. They need to change to match Saudi standards as I had hard time charging my smart devices.

I had an excellent experience with my Zam Zam travel, thanks to the knowledgeable guides and professional organization throughout the journey. The guides were well-versed in the rituals of Hajj, offering clear explanations and spiritual insights that enriched every step of the pilgrimage. The travel agency managed all logistics efficiently making a potentially complex experience smooth and stress-free. Their attention to detail and commitment to service allowed me to focus fully on the spiritual aspects of the pilgrimage.

Alhamdulillah, I had the incredible blessing of performing Hajj with Zamzam Travels, and it was truly a wonderful and spiritually uplifting experience. I travelled with Brother Omar and Al Amin, and I can’t thank them enough for the care, guidance, and support they provided throughout the journey.
As a sister travelling for Hajj, I felt safe, supported, and respected at every stage. The organization and attention to detail were exceptional, from the accommodations and transportation to the religious guidance and group coordination. Brother Omar and Al Amin were always there with calm leadership and clear communication, making sure everything went smoothly for everyone.
Their sincerity and dedication made this journey even more special. It wasn’t just a trip—it was a transformative spiritual experience shared with a compassionate group and trustworthy guides.
I wholeheartedly recommend Zamzam Travels to anyone who’s planning their Hajj or Umrah. May Allah reward Brother Omar, Al Amin, and the entire team for their efforts and allow them to continue serving the Ummah with excellence.
Jazakum Allahu Khayran for an unforgettable Hajj journey.

I travelled for Umrah with my husband and our two daughters between 9–20 April with Zam Zam Travels, and I cannot praise them enough for the outstanding service we received from start to finish. I have travelled with them on two previous occasions and this was the third.
Like before on previous trips, from the moment we booked, Brothers Fahim and Sharif in the Birmingham office were incredibly supportive. They made sure we had all the information we needed, answered all our questions with patience and clarity, and helped us feel completely at ease ahead of our journey.
Once we arrived in Saudi Arabia, the care and support continued seamlessly. Brother Mahmood in Makkah and Brother Afsar in Madinah were both exceptional. They guided us through the completion of our Umrah as soon as we landed and offered continuous support to help us make the most of our time in Makkah and Madinah. Their knowledge, kindness, and dedication were truly appreciated. The Ziarats in both cities were especially moving and beautifully organised – a real highlight of the trip.
As a mother travelling with two daughters, I felt very reassured throughout. It was a deeply spiritual and memorable experience for our whole family, and a lot of that was down to the professionalism and warmth of the Zam Zam team.
Thank you so much — we look forward to booking our next trip with you again and highly recommend you to others planning their Umrah Hajj journey’s.

My family and I recently travelled for Umrah from 9–20 April through Zam Zam Travels, and I can honestly say the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. This was our second Umrah trip with Zam Zam, having also undertaken Hajj with them a while back too.
From the initial booking stage, Brothers Fahim and Sharif at the Birmingham office were incredibly professional and supportive. They made sure we had all the necessary information and documentation, and they were always available to answer our questions and put our minds at ease before travelling. Their attention to detail and warm approach gave us real peace of mind, especially with our tailored needs of dates and times of travel.
On the ground, the support continued with equal excellence. Brother Mahmood in Makkah and Brother Afsar in Madinah were both extremely helpful and approachable. From guiding us through the completion of our Umrah upon arrival to helping us maximise our time in both holy mosques, their knowledge and dedication made a big difference. The Ziarats in both cities were beautifully organised and added a deeply meaningful dimension to our trip, a useful and helpful reminder of the key historic sites and events in Islam.
As a parent, I really appreciated how smoothly everything ran. We were able to focus fully on our worship and spiritual experience without worrying about logistics. My family and I are truly grateful to Zam Zam Travels for helping us create another memorable and blessed moment.
Highly recommended — we would definitely travel with them again.

Alhamdulillah - just got back from our first Umrah Trip and it was wonderful from start to finish. Everything was seamless. Our leader (Abu Ubaydah) was so caring, thoughtful and inspiring. He was able to give us clear information on the Ziyaarats, check in on me and my family at various points throughout the trip and provide support whenever needed. The hotels were less than 5 mins walk from both Masjids and coaches were available when travelling certain distances. Inshallah we will be travelling with Zam Zam ltd. again in the future - Ameen. We have recommended this group to our relatives as well. We made great friends on the trip and as a first Umrah trip - it is experience I will treasure. May Allah (swt) bless you. Ameen.

Alhamdullilah, this was my first experience completing Umrah. I am so pleased to say that the whole journey was organised well, and ran smoothly day to day. Our group leader (Abu Ubaydah) was kind, considerate, thoughtful, and made sure to check in daily to see how we were feeling and doing. The ziyarats were completed via coach (as a group) and these were very insightful, but there was also opportunities to experience both Makkah and Madina independently from the rest of the team. As someone who can feel anxious about travelling, this truly was an incredible experience spiritually and I’m very thankful to Zam Zam ltd.
To mention also- the hotels at both locations were less than 2 minutes from the Haram and the Nabawi mosques, meaning we could access easily for prayers, and not get lost!! Alhamdullilah 🤲🏽

I have been to Umrah numerous times with Zam Zam Travels are trustworthy and outstanding. This time again, the services they provided were exceptional. From the preparation to the end of this spiritual journey – I was very impressed with them. Brother Sharif was very helpful and gave excellent service in the UK- He was very informative at all points of our preparations. Support was given in the whole e-visa process and managed to add my sister and my nephew at the last minute - Alhamdulillah. Reaching Jeddah, we were greeted at the airport, and Brother Mahmud got us to perform Umrah with ease. Brother Mahmud was understanding, supportive and always checked upon us. I wanted to do another Umrah and they provided information and supported me how to get to Masjid Aisha. The transition in going to Medina was done well as the transport was First Class. Brother Afsar was very helpful and always checked upon us, the organisation for the Ziyarat of the different Masjids in Madinah Munwarah were insightful and the Ziyarat to the Roza of the Muhammad S.A.W was done so efficiently that it was surreal. I would highly recommend Zam Zam Travels as they gave us excellent hotels which were very near to both Holy Places, the service provided was outstanding – will go again with them 😊. I am very grateful that they have made my dream come true and may Allah swt give them Barakah.

Recently went to Umrah using ZamZam Travels. Did not have one fault with travelling with these guys. They offered a Brilliant package which included staying in 5* hotels, which were all located near the Mosques, shopping malls and restaurants both in Mecca and Medina. Everything was walking distance which made life a lot easier for us all.The staff were all nice and friendly and looked after us all. Met some lovely people during this trip and it’s been an unforgettable, life changing experience, Alhamdulillah. Inshallah everyone gets an opportunity to go.

For Hajj We went with Zamzam travels through Al-Rajhi. Overall they weren’t helpful. The 5 days in Mina was Oke for us Alhamdulilah. It was managed in the best way possible by Al Rajhi. On the other hand a lot of elderly people were stranded and that could have been avoided. Customer service was horrendous by Zam zam travels - They really didn’t apologise for anything. Anyone booking Hajj- avoid Zamzam travels.
