Overall, the service was great, especially considering the large number of guests they serve. The staff were helpful and the location is excellent for pilgrims.
However, a couple of things could be improved. There was a unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen sink pipes, which affected the overall room atmosphere. Also, the towels had a strange odor the last time they were changed — it made me question whether they were freshly laundered.
Despite these minor issues, I still appreciate the overall hospitality and hope these details will be addressed for an even better experience.

We recently visited Makkah for Umrah with my family and had a truly wonderful experience. The location was perfect — just a short walking distance to the Holy Kaaba, which made it very easy and convenient for us, especially when having 2 kids (8 & 6 y.o.)
The service was excellent throughout our stay. A special thanks to our brothers in the kitchen and housekeeping, especially Amir Hamza and his team, for their outstanding hospitality and care.
The only minor point to mention is the elevators in the Clock Tower (not the hotel itself). Since there are many attractions and shops on each floor of the tower, it sometimes takes a little while to get an elevator up to the hotel’s reception.
Overall, we had a great time and are truly grateful for the wonderful service. Highly recommended!

Our experience at Zamzam Pullman Makkah was nothing short of amazing. We arrived in Makkah as early as 6 am and, although early check-in wasn’t available until 9, the front desk kindly provided us access to the lobby restrooms so we could freshen up before performing our Umrah.
After completing our Umrah that morning, we returned to the front desk around 9:30 and were greeted by the lovely Rawabi, who checked on early check-in availability for us. Alhamdulillah, there was a room ready and we were able to check in much earlier than the standard 4 pm—this made such a difference after our long journey, and we were so happy and grateful!
The room itself was spotless and comfortable, the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and all the staff were kind and welcoming. And of course, the location is absolutely ideal—just steps away from the Haram, making it incredibly convenient for every prayer.
Thank you, Zamzam Pullman, for making our family’s Umrah experience so smooth and unforgettable! 🩷💐

Overall, I would rate this hotel a 7/10, primarily for its excellent location, efficient housekeeping, well-provided amenities, and satisfying breakfast selection. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement.
1. I was surprised to find that the reception staff asked for a review—possibly for their KPI—before assisting guests. This is unexpected behavior, especially for a five-star hotel.
2. We encountered an issue trying to book a buggy through our Umrah app, which required a Saudi number that we didn't have at the time. When we asked the counter staff if they could offer any assistance, their response was simply, "Wallah, I can't help," before resuming their conversation with friends. I felt somewhat dismissed, as even if they couldn’t book it for us, they could have at least suggested an alternative solution.
Overall, I found that many of the staff members did not meet the service standards expected of a five-star hotel. I hope the hotel management will put extra attention on this matter

I had a pretty good experience with Pullman Zam Zam. This was the first time I used this hotel and can honestly say apart from a few issues that are possibly out the hotel chains control, it was great. The rooms are spacious enough for 4 people. The single beds are a very decent size and are more likely 3 1/4 beds, which I loved. The best thing about the location is it classed within the Harram and has speakers connected directly to the room and you can hear and azaan and recitation. The check in process was unnecessary long, the reservation had been made 2 months in advance and an accessible room was requested, however, this was not made available for us on check in. I was disappointed to find out there are only 4 accessible rooms in this monster of a hotel. The room service was great, they have a great bunch of guys providing a great service. Breakfast was decent, the lifts in the hotel worked great, but the clock tower ones that we use to get to the hotel reception floor were very temperamental. The clock tower lifts are as expected super busy at times causing some delays. My biggest disappointment was the basement drop off and pick up location floor which is -2 from the clock tower lifts. This area is so dangerous and it is absolutely shocking how this planned out. There are so many vehicles coming and going and majority of those are for hotel customers of several big chains, however, the drivers are not allowed to park as they will get a fine. Proper lanes and parking space should be created so families can load or offload their families and luggage with ease the location is amazing, coming out the clock tower you are directly facing the Kind Abdul Aziz gate and can see the kaba. Hotel chain needs to improve on providing more accessible rooms and try and organise the parking, loading and offloading of passenger to make the customer experience a lot better. Staying here did feel like it was a 5 star hotel, thanks and I would definitely consider staying there again.

We had a wonderful experience at Pullman Zamzam Makkah. After performing Umrah, we arrived in the middle of the night and were exhausted. Rawabi at the front desk went above and beyond to assist us. She worked diligently for nearly 4 hours to arrange an early check-in, and we are incredibly grateful for her kindness and effort. Her warm and professional service truly stood out.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable—situated within the iconic Clock Tower complex, it’s just steps away from Masjid Al Haram and the Kaaba. Having everything so close made our stay even more convenient and spiritually fulfilling.
The buffet breakfast was also excellent, offering a variety of delicious options. It was definitely worth adding to our stay. Highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, prime location, and hospitality.

Very convenient to Masjid Haram, has excellent room condition and very well maintained. However, it was their customer service we were happy about the most. Basem Almaghrabi greeted us with a warm smile and checked us in professionally and very courteously. He answered all our questions patiently and told us how they were a call away if we needed anything. House cleaners (3303) Parvez and Masud were helpful and nice as well! Views of the city from our rooms were nice as well!

This was a terrible experience. Broken shower. No help in getting a new room or repairing the problem. Bugs in the rooms. Lights not working. No temperature control in the air conditioner.
I was travelling with family and one night after Umrah the water in the shower was dirty. This was at 2am. Nobody responded to my complaints so I went to reception at 2:30 and spent half an hour trying to get the staff to at least give me a place to shower since they could not resolve the issue. Finally they gave me a room to shower in. This room had bugs in it.
Then I had them move me into a new room so that I could have usable running water. Around 5am they sent me to a new room, but when I walked in there were already people living there who I had to have an awkward encounter with.
Finally I had them give me yet another room.
By this time it was 5:30am. This room like all the others is in bad condition and poorly cleaned. Many of the lights in the room are not working. Worst of all I have seen bugs crawling around this room.
Throughout the hotel I have seen many other angry guests and the whole place is in chaos. By far the worst Pullman I have ever stayed in (I am an Accor member and regularly stay in the chain).

During my recent stay at the hotel, I experienced a mix of positive and negative aspects.
On the positive side, the room was very spacious and had a great view. The cleanliness was also impressive, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of choices to select from, making the dining experience a pleasant one.
On the flip side, the check-in process was slow, and we had to wait for a long time due to the rush and the limited number of receptionists available. The customer service was also not up to par as they took a very long time to respond to our calls. One of the main issues we encountered was the delay in receiving our bags, which we only received after contacting customer service.
Moreover, the items on the menu were quite expensive, which was a bit of a letdown for us. We were expecting to have more affordable options to select from, but this was not the case.
Overall, the hotel has its ups and downs. While the spacious and clean room and the breakfast buffet are commendable, the slow check-in process, poor customer service, and expensive menu items were a bit of a letdown.

The reception staff is worse than them. There is no suggestion that you ask them for a coffee shop who supplied their sideburns and ignored the customer... I mean, my family paid 30,000 riyals for a 5-day right and a presidential suite... They did not prepare the suite for us and put us in a small room for the first two hours to wait for the room, and then they moved us to a suite Wrong
It’s smaller than what we paid for and they said it’s normal for you to sit there on the first day. After we argued with them, they decided to give us the suite… I mean, they tired us out of normal, and we felt like we were sitting in a 5-star hotel… The staff are overbearing, and I advise them to take intensive courses

Not worth it the price. Rooms are out dated very old furniture needs renovation. Dirty carpets and sewage smell in washrooms. Checked in on 17th August 2022 and was disappointed the first time I saw the room or suite. Service is really poor room service or reception will never pick your phone. Not worth the price that we paid for a 5-star hotel. There are way better 5 star hotels than this one I won't recommend it to any one. My experience was very bad. Only the location is good other than that not worth it.

Did not reach the expectations of a 5 star hotel. We stayed in a classic 2 bed room. Table was wobbly, bathroom door handle broken, toilet seat loose, bathroom drain open so you could see inside pipe, sink drain not working and shower dirty with stains. Maintenance of the rooms was neglected overall.
Took so long to get to the floor you wanted or wait for the lift to arrive it didn't feel like 5 star experience at all.
2 star because housekeeping was great and they did their job well when requested. We did have overflowing bin for 1 day as housekeeping didn't come. Our 3-4 star hotel in Madinah was better kept and maintained and had great housekeeping there! Plus the lifts was not as much a hassle like the 5 star one.
Could do better!

The hotel is rather disappointing as the rooms lack something. They seem dated and not well maintained.
We stayed her for 1 night on arrival in a classic 2 bedroom so not sure if the suits would be better.
Still good but gets really busy and lifts are difficult to get.
Taken the above into account this hotel is not worth staying at as there are better options for the same price. Service is the worst at this hotel than any other hotel I have stayed at. I would avoid at all costs and stay at another site in the clock tower. Don't waste your money.

Not happy at all. Worst Experience. I booked online, a Suite with Kaaba View and to my utter disappointment at the time of check in they said the room is not available and they gave me another suite without Kaaba View with higher price as compare to the one I booked it. And they ensure me that they will shift me to my booked room later and then this never happened. I ended up staying in a room which I didn’t booked. I didn’t expect this unprofessional behavior from such a renowned hotel chain. Will not stay in future.

Stay was good,on arrival we encountered a few complications in terms of persons however guest relations were very helpful and ensured the issue was resolved.as part of my birthday they also upgraded to junior suite. The decor is very outdated however I must say all services are on point and we did not have any issues. Breakfast was very busy but easily flowing and lot of variety. Loved how close Haram was to the hotel and good location especially for the men as the gates to mosque for men were very close! Hotel is lovely staff are amazing and I had a really good stay.

My father and I had a mixed bag of experiences at this hotel but ended up happy with the stay.
When we arrived at the location we were told that there were no rooms at the upper floors. We were given a third floor room that hadn't properly been cleaned. We were then offered a room of the same size on the eighth floor... So obviously they didn't offer the best room to us in the first place.
Another problem was that after extending for one day the hotel repeatedly called us insisting that we hadn't paid. It turned out it was a fault in their system.
Finally, despite making booking for 2 people, the hotel said only one person could attend breakfast. How, in a room for 2, can you say only one person could attend breakfast?
Now, despite all these problems the hotel staff did provide quick solutions and were courteous and apologetic. On the final day the hotel manager called us personally and went above and beyond in apologizing and providing us with ample time to check out.
The room itself was not particularly stellar. The beds were fine and I appreciated the complimentary fruits, sweets, water and utilities like iron table, prayer rug, and so on. The bathroom could be better as I really don't like open showers. The roof floor restaurant and the staff working there are excellent.
The best thing about this hotel is obviously the location. You can't beat it.

Washrooms seems to need a bit TLC.

This hotel is a full package. Everything was on point. They have a shuttle bus for the ladies, to make it easier for us to get to the women's section of haram. The location in itself is great. Exceptionally bad hotel. 5 stars? Yes they only charge like a 5 star hotel. The services? Nope. Worst services ever.
Despite having checked in online we waited in the queue and finally when it was our turn we were told that the room was not prepared and to wait for 30 more minutes.
After waiting for an hour. We were brought to the dirtiest room ever. Dust everywhere. The coffee machine promised was not there. We are 4 adults yet the amenities were for a single person. Despite calling for water and amenities for hours, they ARE NOT RESPONDING!
I AM HERE RIGHT NOW and even after complaining to their so called managers, none of them leading me to the real one, they are just making empty promises and doing nothing
Please everyone, prefer a 1 star over this one. Trust me you would get better service and cleanliness there for the best price. I am literally being humiliated here for paying such a large amount of money.
I'll see if I can attach pics to show the dirtiest of the room

I have rated this hotel five stars based on earlier experience as I was impressed by the hotel service and the kindness of the staff, in addition to the newness of the hotel and its great location.
However, based on my new experience I have taken two stars as it did not meet my expectations this time.
The rooms’ furniture deteriorated, and so is the service especially from the reception. We asked for a room upgrade, and were told that no rooms were available although it was obvious that this was not the case, and rooms were available on the Booking. I had to speak to the shift manager to get the room upgrade. The breakfast arrived cold and did not meet the request. The laundry services are very expensive even by hotels’ standard.
I am keeping the three stars for two reasons:
- the swift response from the shift manager and his kindness in changing the room in a very short time.
- the kindness of the housekeeping staff, especially, Suhail Rana.

We did online check in ages ago. Paid in advance. And yet we are here waiting for our room to be prepared while not even given priority for the online check in. We were apologized. Like really? An empty apology? What kind of 5 star hotel is this? A 1star might be better than here.
Don't waste your money in staying at this hotel. Better stay at a 1 star.
Sadly I have wasted my money here

The service is quicker and more courteous towards whites compared to others. Though they may have been in the line behind others or at the table, observed this more than once. This may be something that can be looked into. Apart from that the experience was lovely.

My first stay here was really nice. The executive suite my family had booked was spacious and clean. Over time, it has began to become run down. My family and I found the beds in the twin room in the executive suite were extremely soft. I literally was in pain sleeping in that bed. 😞 We found writing and scrabbles on the lamp in the living room, marks and scratches on the wall. More work needs to go into this hotel.
On the plus side, it's proximity to the Haram is pretty good. The walk isn't that far. Good exercise 🚶â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ‘Œ

Skip some of the ziyaarah’s, the brother was so flexible and accommodating…. Always at hand if ever needed him for anything! Before we left i found his vids on the little things like plugs amd sockets and money exchange tips really handy! These are details that are small yet significant so he covered it all for us just so that we dont forget! Once there, he provided us with trusted places to shop, exchange money etc and some other visits we did too that were humbling!! You cannot get this when travelling alone! Brother went out of his way to make the stay as comfrtble as possible not just for adults but the kids too! And the trolley for the luggage at the end of to the trip was icing on the cake! Jzk for an unforgettable experience… i am already planning my next trip! ❤️

This was my first time travelling to Al Aqsa and with Zaarvel, I have been to many destinations and this was by far one of the best trips. From the very beginning brother Numayar looked after us and stayed with us until we got through the checkpoints at Tel Aviv. We were understandably very nervous but we soon realised we really had nothing to worry about. Everything was organsied perfectly from the transport to hotel to the very educational tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and have already recommended to others. We would definitely travel with Zaarvel again.

Zaarvel Team had made this a memorable experience for me and my family.
In our group there were between 50/55 people from London, Leicester, Manchester, Dubai, etc.
Before we travel, Zaarvel make it clear what is needed and essentials for trip. We have video conference for any questions that you may have, very in depth.
This is my 2nd time at Al Aqsa and can't get enough. What amazing trip, very well organised and packed everyday with things to do. Day 1, walking around Al Aqsa Compound and learning the history by experienced tour guild. Day 2 visiting locals or doing walking tour outside the compound. Day 3 coach trip from 8am to 9pm, visiting famous Ibrahim Mosjid and Musa Mosjid, Banksy Museum, Jericho, Mount of Olives, etc. Day 4 Jummah and shopping, Day 5 return. Action packed.
When visiting Al Aqsa alot of Sabr patience is needed. At airport any foreigner they will keep few hours and may question what your visit is about.
Insha'Allah I will be going again and again.

Visiting Al-Aqsa was honestly one of the most emotional and spiritual things I’ve ever experienced. From praying in the blessed compound to the amazing excursions organised by Zaarvel, every part of the trip reminded me how powerful and deep our history is as Muslims.
The itinerary was so well thought out — I loved how the guides mixed in historical facts with spiritual lessons, whether we were at the Mount of Olives, Masjid Umar, or visiting the tombs of the Prophets. Praying in those places was something else… it really hit the heart.
Alhamdulillah, my group was also amazing — supportive, kind, and filled with beautiful souls that made the journey even more special.
This trip wasn’t just sightseeing — it was healing. I left with a heart that honestly just wants to return again, inshaAllah.
May Allah let us all visit Masjid Al-Aqsa, protect its people, and keep our hearts connected to it. Ameen.

I recently had the honour of going on a Zaarvel tour to Palestine and honestly, it was one of the most eye opening and emotional experiences of my life. From the moment we landed to the moment we left, everything was organised with so much care and thought. The whole trip ran smoothly, the tour guides were brilliant, and you could tell they were genuinely passionate about sharing the truth and history of Palestine.
This trip really changed me. Before coming, I never took the boycott seriously. I’d hear about it now and then, but I would just brush it off thinking it doesn’t really matter. But after seeing the reality with my own eyes, even just the small day to day struggles the Palestinians go through, I realised how important it actually is. What we saw was only a tiny part of what they deal with every single day. It broke my heart and it opened my eyes. From now on, In Sha Allah, I will do my part and take the boycott seriously.
What Zaarvel offered was more than just a tour. It was a journey that touched the heart and soul. Every stop, every moment, felt like it had real purpose. It was clear that the team behind this trip put in a lot of effort and that they truly care about the cause.
I’m honestly so grateful I got the chance to be part of it. This wasn’t just about seeing places. It was about learning, reflecting and understanding the deeper truth. I would 100 percent recommend Zaarvel to anyone who wants a real, honest and powerful experience in Palestine. May Allah SWT reward the whole team for everything they’ve done.

Blessed to have had the opportunity to visit the Holy Land with Zaarvel! Amazing trip with a well organised tour operator who is experienced with this destination. Excellent communication and guidance pre and during the tour by Numayar who made the whole journey seamless. Zaarvel arranged excellent local guides from Jerusalem and their knowledge was outstanding providing great depth to the tours.
Everyone should try to visit Palestine if they have the opportunity and show solidarity and support to the people of Al Quds.
Zaarvel is highly recommended to anyone wishing to embark on this amazing cultural and spiritual journey!

I’ve been on group tours but going with Zaarvel was a cut above the rest for sure!
From the booking process to returning from the Al Aqsa trip, the service was undeniable.
They were swift in all responses and queries and put any worries to bed. The entire time we were treated like guests with all our needs catered to. Even if something was not on the itinerary but we were interested to go there or do something, it was arranged for the ones who wanted to go.
Zaarvel team knew everyone on the ground and are well connected on the other side so you feel completely at ease knowing you’re in safe hands. We were treated like guests, friends and family. Through their genuineness and sincerity, they created an unforgettable trip of a lifetime.
Thanks and best wishes for a successful future!
