We had the most memorable time at this hotel. We were there to perform our umrah, and the rooms were so comfortable. The bathrooms were fantastic with good pressure and gorgeous hot water.
The elevators were so impressive because there was hardly any delay despite the hotel being quite full. The hotel is located within the haram and is a few minutes to gate 79 (King Fahd Gate). So convenient. There is a lovely mall downstairs at kevel C1, which is also the level used to exit to the haram. The mall has some great shops and fantastic restaurants. You can get the famous milk tea upstairs at the mall's food court.
The breakfast is incredible! I was shocked by the amazing range of foods on offer. They start breakfast a bit late at 6.30 am, which is not always convenient if you are praying fajr salat at 5am. It means you have a super long wait. However, I definitely recommend going g to breakfast early as it gets busier as the morning wears on. Breakfast ends at 11 am, with the last entry to the breakfast area at 10.30 am.
The beds are very comfortable, and I slept like a log. The air-conditioning is very good, despite the blazing heat outside (we were there at the onset of summer and it was sweltering outside). I love the loudspeaker in the room, which means you hear all the salat in the haram directly. There were some instances where it was easier for me to pray in the room, and I didn't feel like I missed out at all.
I recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

Amazing hotel with amazing shops within. The rooms are modern clean and spacious. With great room service and housekeeping and multiple calls throughout the day to make sure service and everything is good and if anything needs improved or if anything is needed.
Breakfast is great and the walk to the haram is very short. The location is right behind dar al taqwa.

Please be aware that the hotel takes your booking and it is very misleading. I have booked for 2 Adults and 2 Children ages 12 & 12. Upon arrival they have provided a room with 2 single beds. Any reasonable person will accept that 4 persons cannot fit on 2 single beds. The beds are literally single not extra large or anything just regular singles. But the hotel will not provide any extra bedding and insist I have to pay for extra beds. How is this fair? If the hotel want to do this they should not be accepting bookings in this way as they are misleading. Also if they are accepting this type of booking then they have a duty to advise before guest arrival that they will only provide 2 single beds. This way the guest has a choice to decide if they will keep the booking. Clearly nobody will as they will not fit. So the message is stop misleading and start being fair.

Dear Hyatt Regency Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am considering booking a room at your hotel, but I have a quick question before finalizing my reservation. During a previous stay at a different hotel in makkah, I encountered an issue where the windows could not be opened. Since I am sensitive to air conditioning, it is important for me to have access to fresh air.
Could you please confirm whether the windows in your guest rooms can be opened?
Thank you in advance for your help. I look forward to your response.
Best regards

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Makkah for two days during Ramadan, and I must say it was our best and most memorable trip. It was my sister’s first time visiting Makkah, and thanks to this hotel, her Umrah and Ibadah experience was smooth and easy.
My elderly mother was also very happy with the stay. Since the hotel is just a short walk from the Haram, she was able to go by herself without any difficulty, which gave us peace of mind.
The location is excellent—right next to the Haram. There’s a shopping center downstairs, and even a mosque inside the hotel with separate prayer areas for men and women, which was very convenient.
We booked a deal that included both Suhoor and Iftar, and the food was amazing with so much variety. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the hotel has all the amenities you could need.
The staff was really helpful and kind throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Makkah!

Service, food and the condition of the hotel and rooms are great. However, it is quite a distance to get to the Mosque as they close off most of the entrances and direct you to the extension. Location is a key factor and there are probably better located hotels which will allow you to get into the Gharam.

Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency is a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is within walking distance of the Grand Mosque, and it is also close to a number of other important religious sites.
The hotel has a total of 1,510 rooms and suites, all of which are spacious and luxuriously appointed. The rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city or the Grand Mosque, king-size beds, marble bathrooms, and a variety of amenities.
The hotel has a number of dining options, including a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, a coffee shop, and a rooftop bar with stunning views of the city. There is also a spa, a fitness center, and a swimming pool.
The hotel's staff is friendly and helpful, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that guests have a pleasant stay.
Here are some of the pros and cons of Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency:
Pros:
Excellent location
Spacious and luxurious rooms
Variety of dining options
Friendly and helpful staff
State-of-the-art facilities
Cons:
Can be noisy during peak times
Expensive
Some rooms have limited views
Overall, Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency is a great choice for travelers who are looking for a luxurious and convenient hotel in Mecca. The hotel is well-located, the rooms are spacious and luxurious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the hotel can be noisy during peak times and it is quite expensive.
Here are some tips for staying at Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency:
Book your room early: The hotel is popular, so it is important to book your room early, especially if you are traveling during peak times.
Ask for a room with a view of the Grand Mosque: If you want to wake up to stunning views of the Grand Mosque, be sure to ask for a room with a view.
Bring earplugs: The hotel can be noisy during peak times, so it is a good idea to bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise.
Be prepared to spend a lot of money: The hotel is quite expensive, so be prepared to spend a lot of money if you stay there.
I hope this helps!

Rooms are great and the furniture is in great new shape EXCEPT for the carpets! They're very dull and look and feel so worn out and not vacuumed regularly enough!! It's worth noting that there's no fridge nor a coffee station in the room. The breakfast buffet is huge quantity but average in quality. However, location is top and service is outstanding.

Good stay - nice touch with the club lounge - be aware this is only for 5-7pm and have a limited, repeated menu. The service was good. Location wise - one of the best in Makkah. However you don't get a full Haram view. Cleanliness is very good - excellent service at the reception desk and housekeeping. Disappointed with the bed size - despite the Hyatt website saying each bed sleeps 2, they don't - they're single beds. This is why we would reconsider staying here again. I would consider the Conrad where the bed size is more generous. Overall a good stay.

The distance to get to the haram is at least 10 minutes considering the slow lifts and would recommend making ways at least 5 minutes before the adhan. I would not recommend using the AC as the air ventilation is dirty and you will end up falling sick. The hotel definitely needs to invest in new air conditioners that can be serviced regularly. However, it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, the service was outstanding.

If i could rate this hotel a zero i would. For the amount of money paid the services we got were so so so bad. The towels were disgusting with stains in them and body hair. TWICE. The sheets smelled like food. Actually the entire hotel smelled like food. The staff are not helpful. It took them 4 hours to deliver our shopping to the room. Total rip off. Most important thing is hygiene, there was none here i was so scared to even sleep on the ripped bed sheets that were provided. Disgusting.

Although this is my second time to stay in this hotel. I was very satisfied with my first experience, however my second experience was not very impressive. The location of the facility near the mosque and the attached mini mall remains a very attractive advantage. However staff services was not very welcoming and I felt some sort of dullness. The room furniture requires better maintenance particularly the carpet. The bathroom cleanness was above average. Value for money was not optimal maybe because it’s Ramadan season and prices for all hotels near the mosque are elevated. $$$$
My experience with Direct reservation via the reservation center of the hotel was below average customer service representative was not Very helpful which made me make my reservations through Booking.com
I hope the hotel management pays more attention to find details to live up to the name of Hyatt Regency international Brand.

This hotel is literally few steps from gate 79 that is designated for women and any person who is planning for a Omra. The rooms are spacious and my room specifically has a great view. The dine in menu does not have much options. The hotel is in a mall area, however the shops do not have variety of options. There is a big super market in the mall which makes it easier to find anything u need. Although they offer the choice that u can have a late checkout to 3 oclock and pay 25% of the stay or stay to 6 and pay 50%, they are always fully booked that they can not deliver this option. In summary The hotel is great

The hotel, location and amenities are awesome. The bed are very comfortable and the rooms are also spacious. It's just 1-2 min walk from king Fahd gate Al Haram. However, the attitude of room service is not good. We asked them to bring in the table and open it but at first he refused it. Upon asking again, he opened it as if he is doing something very big for us. I'm giving 2 star because of their behavior. Rest everything about the property is amazing.

My father and I had a mixed bag of experiences at this hotel but ended up happy with the stay.
When we arrived at the location we were told that there were no rooms at the upper floors. We were given a third floor room that hadn't properly been cleaned. We were then offered a room of the same size on the eighth floor... So obviously they didn't offer the best room to us in the first place.
Another problem was that after extending for one day the hotel repeatedly called us insisting that we hadn't paid. It turned out it was a fault in their system.
Finally, despite making booking for 2 people, the hotel said only one person could attend breakfast. How, in a room for 2, can you say only one person could attend breakfast?
Now, despite all these problems the hotel staff did provide quick solutions and were courteous and apologetic. On the final day the hotel manager called us personally and went above and beyond in apologizing and providing us with ample time to check out.
The room itself was not particularly stellar. The beds were fine and I appreciated the complimentary fruits, sweets, water and utilities like iron table, prayer rug, and so on. The bathroom could be better as I really don't like open showers. The roof floor restaurant and the staff working there are excellent.
The best thing about this hotel is obviously the location. You can't beat it.

After waiting for an hour. We were brought to the dirtiest room ever. Dust everywhere. The coffee machine promised was not there. We are 4 adults yet the amenities were for a single person. Despite calling for water and amenities for hours, they ARE NOT RESPONDING!
I AM HERE RIGHT NOW and even after complaining to their so called managers, none of them leading me to the real one, they are just making empty promises and doing nothing
Please everyone, prefer a 1 star over this one. Trust me you would get better service and cleanliness there for the best price. I am literally being humiliated here for paying such a large amount of money.
I'll see if I can attach pics to show the dirtiest of the room

I have rated this hotel five stars based on earlier experience as I was impressed by the hotel service and the kindness of the staff, in addition to the newness of the hotel and its great location.
However, based on my new experience I have taken two stars as it did not meet my expectations this time.
The rooms’ furniture deteriorated, and so is the service especially from the reception. We asked for a room upgrade, and were told that no rooms were available although it was obvious that this was not the case, and rooms were available on the Booking. I had to speak to the shift manager to get the room upgrade. The breakfast arrived cold and did not meet the request. The laundry services are very expensive even by hotels’ standard.
I am keeping the three stars for two reasons:
- the swift response from the shift manager and his kindness in changing the room in a very short time.
- the kindness of the housekeeping staff, especially, Suhail Rana.

We did online check in ages ago. Paid in advance. And yet we are here waiting for our room to be prepared while not even given priority for the online check in. We were apologized. Like really? An empty apology? What kind of 5 star hotel is this? A 1star might be better than here.
Don't waste your money in staying at this hotel. Better stay at a 1 star.
Sadly I have wasted my money here

The service is quicker and more courteous towards whites compared to others. Though they may have been in the line behind others or at the table, observed this more than once. This may be something that can be looked into. Apart from that the experience was lovely.

My first stay here was really nice. The executive suite my family had booked was spacious and clean. Over time, it has began to become run down. My family and I found the beds in the twin room in the executive suite were extremely soft. I literally was in pain sleeping in that bed. 😞 We found writing and scrabbles on the lamp in the living room, marks and scratches on the wall. More work needs to go into this hotel.
On the plus side, it's proximity to the Haram is pretty good. The walk isn't that far. Good exercise 🚶â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ‘Œ

Our journey to Hajj began in the most spiritually enriching and powerful way imaginable with a visit to the blessed land of Al Aqsa and the Old City of Jerusalem, guided by the remarkable team at Ibadah Tours.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of incredible. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed, seamlessly organised, and deeply rooted in Islamic history and spirituality. But what truly made this leg of our journey unforgettable was Brother Ali a man whose depth of knowledge, warmth, and sincerity left a lasting impression on every heart in our group.
Brother Ali didn't just guide us; he taught us. Every step through the ancient alleyways of Jerusalem, every stone of Al Aqsa, every story he shared brought our Islamic history to life in ways that no book or video ever could.
His love for the Ummah, his connection to the sacred sites, and his ability to tie everything back to our purpose for visiting seeking closeness to Allah was genuinely inspiring.
Walking through the Old City, praying in Al Aqsa, and learning about the prophets who once walked these very streets set the perfect spiritual tone for what was to come.
It wasn’t just a tour it was a sacred journey that awakened our hearts and reminded us of the incredible legacy we are part of as Muslims.
This visit laid the spiritual foundation for our Hajj like nothing else could. It gave us perspective, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose. Ibadah Tours didn't just deliver an itinerary they gave us a transformative experience that will stay with us for a lifetime.
If you're considering a visit to Al
Aqsa start with Ibadah Tours. You will not only see the holy sites you will feel them, understand them, and carry them in your heart forever.
May Allah bless the team at Ibadah Tours and especially Brother Ali for his dedication, passion, and service to the Ummah.

After years of being messed around by other tour agents, we booked Al-Aqsa with Ibadah tours and not only did they deliver, but exceeded our expectations beyond imagine! Brother Ali is so knowledgeable, kind, caring, and funny. He made the whole tour group feel comfortable and like a family travelling together. He was patient, calm and went above and beyond to ensure we all were safe and got the best out of our trip. This trip brought our family closer to each other, closer to our religion, as well as connect us with our brothers and sister in Islam from the UK and in Jerusalem. We learned so much about Islam and its history. Eternally grateful and wish Ibadah tours nothing but the best. Cannot wait to book our next tour with them to other destinations as well as Al-Aqsa again. Thank you so much!

From the very start, Ibadah Tours made our trip to Jerusalem effortless, even with the challenges of planning everything from Canada. They were responsive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our experience special. But what truly made this journey unforgettable was our guide, Brother Ali.
He isn’t just a tour guide, he’s an incredible storyteller, a protector, and someone who treats his guests like family. His deep knowledge and passion made every moment in Palestine feel extremely meaningful. He didn’t just show us the famous landmarks, he took us beyond the surface, sharing hidden gems like a secret tunnel and introducing us to an unforgettable restaurant at the Mount of Temptation. It felt like we were experiencing the city through the eyes of someone who truly loves and understands it.
But what truly set Brother Ali apart was his kindness and undying support. When we ran into difficulties at the airport, he didn’t just wish us well and leave. He stayed by our side until every single member of our family was cleared, ensuring we didn’t miss our flight. That level of dedication is rare, and it spoke volumes about his character.
If you’re considering a trip to Jerusalem, don’t think twice, just book with Ibadah Tours, I cannot recommend them enough. You won’t just get a tour, you’ll get an experience of a lifetime. And if you’re lucky enough to have Brother Ali as your guide, you’ll understand why we can’t stop talking about him because you will know that you’re in the best hands, InShaAllah.
May Allah bless him, protect him, and reward him for his kindness, generosity, and the care he puts into every traveler’s journey. Ameen.
And if you’re reading this, may Allah grant you the opportunity to visit the Holy Land, and may you leave it transformed, with your heart forever changed. Ameen.

I booked the July 2023 Aqsa tour with Ibadah, and I can honestly say one of the best decisions I have made. I was a bit reluctant to go to Aqsa because of what I had seen on the news and social media, especially travelling alone as a 35 year old male. However, Ibadah tours were on hand to answer all my questions and gave me a lot of confidence before booking. From the airport until the end Ibadah provided an exceptional service. The three tour guides brother Ali, brother Aidarus and the friendly local superhero Sheikh Saleh were the perfect mix of seriousness, information and humour making the tour an absolute enjoyment even during the more longer, busier days. You really feel you are with a family and Ibadah really provide an experience of a lifetime. Not only that they value their customers safety and with the tour guides around I felt I had nothing to worry about at all making my trip all the more enjoyable. A big thank you to Ibadah tours and I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to go Aqsa or anywhere else for that matter.

Thank you to Brother Ali and his team for making this tour smooth as possible and being there from start to finish. From the moment I booked on for the tour Brother Ali and his team were always available and ready to answer any questions. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of the tour group and may the memories and relationships remain forever. And last but not least a big thanks to Sheikh Saleh for being informative, passionate and inspiring us to encourage our family and friends to come along in the future. I recommend to use this tour group service if you wish to visit Palestine, whether it is your first time or returning. Pictures does not do justice and must be experienced first hand. May all readers be given the ability to visit Masjid Al Aqsa.

Alhumdulillah what an amazing, Enlightening experience! Feeling very sad today, but blessed to be part of this Beautiful journey.
Jazak Allah khairun to brother Ali and Shaikh Saleh (Ibadah Tours) for organising, and sharing the much needed knowledge and experience. Brought home our lack of Islamic knowledge and the importance of visiting the blessed lands of Palestine and Al-aqsa. May Allah bless you both with lots of barkat and reward you both in this world and the aakhirah - Ameen
It was lovely to be amongst such an amazing group and to meet all - please remember the muslim ummah and us in your duas and please forgive us for any shortcomings from our side.
The hotel, food and the ziyarah were excellent. In shaa Allah we have made intention to be there again in 2024.
