Loved our visit to makkah. Stayed in emaar grand hotel. Group of 9. Everything was good. Just needed some toilet tiles work. The rest is 5*.
Would visit again.

I recently stayed at the Emaar Grand Hotel in Mecca, booking a room advertised for five people. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially larger groups.
The room itself was incredibly tight for five beds. We were practically on top of each other, and there was barely any space to move around or store our belongings comfortably. This lack of space made our stay very uncomfortable and frankly, quite stressful.
Beyond the cramped quarters, the room service was also severely lacking. On multiple occasions, we tried to contact room service, but the phone simply went unanswered. This made it impossible to request basic necessities or address any issues we had.
Considering the high price we paid for this hotel, the level of service and the size of the room were completely unacceptable. It felt like we were significantly overcharged for a very poor experience.
If you are planning a trip to Mecca and require accommodation for more than a couple of people, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The Emaar Grand Hotel's cramped rooms and unreliable service are not worth the money or the frustration. Save yourself the disappointment and book a different hotel.

The only nice thing about the hotel is its interior. The hotel facilities were rubbish. The shower cubicle wouldn’t close properly and the water would wet the whole floor in the bathroom. The hair dryer in the bathroom has such low power that it will take you an hour to dry your long hair with it. The bathroom plumbing was horrific, whenever you run water you can smell of the gutter. The room ventilation system seems like it hasn’t been cleaned in years and would definitely make you sick!
The place just looks fancy from the interior used but has little to no facilities available. Breakfast was super bland and basic. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

Breakfast was good as we had breakfast included in our booking
I'll consider other options (distance from Haram and room service), before booking it again.

I am currently staying here and as I am writing this review i’m waiting for maintenance to come because my room power keeps stopping. We have only been here for two days tonight being the third and i am just honestly so ready to go home, which is upsetting.
1) the rooms are decent sized, as far as i know. our room was for three people so there were three beds. Very standard. However, the windows are broken and you can hear EVERYTHING outside.
2) the toilet smells and is always 24/7 hot. It’s very tight and cramped. and once again like every other review we were only given two towels despite being three people. Normally hotels i’ve been to you get at least two towels per person the second one being a smaller towel??!
3) THE LIFTS. If you want clarity and a peace of mind please don’t even consider booking here! There are so many lifts but there are WAYY MORE people. You can wait for the lift for almost 1 HOUR
4) Lastly the distance. It’s not worth your money it’s a long walk and isn’t “5 minutes”!
All in all i definitely will not be staying here the only bonus points is the staff excluding reception!

The location is about 7-8 mkns walks from the entrance of haram gate 79 .
The hotel itself looks very presentable but rooms are very dated and need refurbishment. Frontbif house need better Customer service skills especially the lady at reception who when posed with a problem seems to uses gestures and arrogance as her way to deal with issues.
The gentlemen and the service guys are very helpful and pleasant.
Having stayed for a few days with several problems and then room changes this seemed to be common as many other guests had the same issue and same broken promises. For a hotel with ample rooms it seemed like they just couldn't be bothered.
Broken telephones broken lights , lack of facilities and 1 iron to use amongst the hundreds of rooms and you won't get one for 3 days and even then you only can use for 1 hr, constant trips to reception but all broken false promises.
The good things about the place is it is value for money and you could see that once upon a time it was 5 star but now pushing 3 stars. The location is on Ibrahim al khalil St with plenty of food and shopping available nearby.

Alhamdulillah We arrived on the 24th July 2023 from Malaysia. The lady reception is really nice and polite. She makes the check in process really straight foward and fast for me and my father. May Allah ease her life. The breakfast is good. The hotel is around 10-12 minutes to Haram. Room is big and toilet is clean.Aircond is superb. Wifi also very fast. Im grateful to found this hotel even is not like the nearest or higher star to masjid..
Its still a good and clean room. Also theres a lot of shop/food along the way to hotel from masjid. So you wont be feel like walking far. InsyaAllah will come back.

To be honest when I read the reviews of this hotel I had a different image in my head. But my stay proved the reviews wrong. It was a lovely hotel. House keeping were 5 âï¸. Always helpful, gave everything i needed. Cleaned the room when I asked. Like I said housekeeping were just GREAT. The location of the hotel was in the BEST place. Everything in my convenience and the best thing was that it was just a 10min walk to haram shareef. I will give it 5/5

Terrible service and hotel management.
Booked a 4 persons room, it was terrible as the beds were laid out in a very awkward position that left no other space in the hotel room, we barely had enough space to open our suitcases.
The hotel management in general is poor, they don't clean the rooms properly. Everytime we ask for water bottles they either only give 2 or don't give any. We had a minor incident where we needed to check the CCTV footage for our floor, it took 3 days for us to finally get somewhere with this.
Hotel manager is rude and walked off as we were speaking to him. The reception staff again is incompetent and does not seem to care about anything.
The switches are really strange as the sockets are connected to the lights in the room, everytime u want to charge your phone etc u have to keep the light on which is really really strange.
The only thing that was decent was the food. Breakfast and dinner items are always fresh and they change the dishes they make quite often . The tables are cleaned frequently and food gets replenished every time it finishes.

Bathroom had mould and coffee area had sugar and dust all over. When we request to clean the room, everything was still there.
Receptionist lady at the Restaurant upstairs on Thursday 23rd February 2023 during dinner time was so rude. She doesn’t have basic manners. I asked nicely if they can heat my kids food, instead of refusing nicely, she pointed me to the door in front of everyone. SO RUDE!

Room was not carpeted, sockets were not working or the socket was linked with the table lamp so you don't have option to keep your mobile on charge while you want to keep the table lamp off. Bathroom was not in good condition as most of the time water wasn't flowing out and was gathering in the Bathroom.

Absolutely awful..!! Worst hotel ever. Starting from reception service to room conditions, everything was way below standard. I can't believe they are rated as 5 star. Totally scammed!! Please don't waste your valuable money. Toilets are so dirty that we had to shift to another room but again no better! Overall, very very poor. Customer service was unacceptable. Also there is no WIFI connection only accessible in ground floor but no access in rooms, the food is quite acceptable Will never recommend this....

It's a 10-minute straight walk to harm. No uphill or downhill. So was comfortable for kids to walk.
They have a separate floor for a restaurant which we didn't use. Floor for Parking and a floor for Prayer hall.

This is a very good hotel compared to the other hotels in the vicinity. It’s located in Ibrahim Al Khalil street, about 1 Km walk from the Haram (about 15-20 minutes walk depending on your speed). I have booked a quad room. It was spacious, clean and doesn’t smell. It had street view, from the 8th floor, beds and linen were clean, bathroom was well maintained and clean. The room is spacious enough for the needs, there is a kettle and facility to make coffee, and there is a small fridge.
Electronic card keys work fine with no issues. There is a small wardrobe / hanger for clothes. The single beds and mattresses are comfortable. I would give this room / hotel an overall rating of 8/10. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was almost seamless with no issues.
It did take few minutes longer to check in more than necessary, but compared to other hotels in the region and previous experiences, it was really good.

There is two hotel towers we were in tower A so I don't know about tower B. From the outside, lobby restaurant tower A was 4 star but the room was a little 3 star - no carpet and the bathroom was not as modern for 4 star rating. Also there was no WiFi connection in the room even though we were 4 floors up - only in the lobby could you get a better connection. Breakfast buffet was good.

This hotel is very strategically located: just a few steps to the Nabawi Mosque, Madinah. The Quad Room is quite clean and comfortable. If we ask for cleaning, mineral water and soap and shampoo, and changing room equipment, they do it. There are several elevators, but they cannot serve quickly if the guests are overflowing.

Concorde Dar al Khair, Madinah
Concorde Dar al Khair is a decent choice for a 3-star hotel, especially due to its prime location near Masjidil Nabawi. The rooms are reasonably clean, though not exceptional, but still comfortable for a short stay. However, the service, particularly at the restaurant, was disappointing. Breakfast was supposed to be available until 8:30 AM, yet guests were rudely asked to leave by 8:00 AM. A similar issue occurred during check-out—despite the official time being 2:30 PM, staff started forcing guests out by 2:00 PM. While the location is great, the lack of hospitality from some staff members makes the experience less enjoyable.

The hotel has the worst lift system I have ever seen. The discussion on room quality or service is pointless if you have to wait around 30 minutes for the lift. Most of the lifts don't even stop at the floor you are calling from. I had to access my floor via stair case with a baby in hand.
The receptionists does not give a damn if you call them for any support or if you give any feedback. They just don't care if the guests are satisfied or not.

this hotel deserves to go out of business . the most terrible hotel I've ever stayed at. i went there in January and there was no hot water, it was only room temperature. and when i complained about it they gaslighted me by saying no one in the hotel asks for water "that hot" i caught cold because of that. also they made a snarky comment that this is a 3 star hotel not 5 star, j was baffled by that comment like just because the hotel is 3 star i shouldn't expect hot water?
there were hair on thr bathroom floor and the bedsheets, i called multiple times the reception kept saying they'll send someone but no one came. i asked to change my room they lied and said they were fully booked, when the rooms available sign was on outside.
the tea kettle in the room was not working, i had to complain multiple times to get it fixed. there were tea bags in the room but no tea whitener and when i called to ask for it they rudely told me that they don't provide that.
the entire staff was super rude all the time and acted like we were staying there for free whenever we requested or complained about any of the horrid things there.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL YOUR STAY WILL BE RUINED.

Room was clean and well maintained. But room service was not well. Especially at the reception, the guy was very tough with guests, and his behaviour was not supposed to be like this. The hotel was very near to Haram. Highly charged parking, which is not justified even the second day the same car parking rate, no deduction. Overall Hotel ambience was good but service was not upto mark.

I recently stayed at the Concord Hotel Dar Al Khair in Madinah and would like to share my experience. While the hotel has its merits, there are areas that could benefit from improvement, which is why I have given it an average rating of three stars.
One of the highlights of the hotel is its convenient location. It is situated in close proximity to the Holy Mosque, making it easy to access for pilgrims. The hotel's proximity to shopping centers and local restaurants is also a plus, providing guests with various options for dining and entertainment.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They were courteous and responsive to my requests, and their warm demeanor added to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the hotel. Their assistance in navigating the city and providing recommendations was much appreciated.
However, I found the overall quality of the accommodation and facilities to be lacking. The cleanliness of the rooms was subpar, with noticeable dust and some stained carpets. Additionally, the decor seemed outdated and in need of refreshing. The room amenities were also quite basic, and I expected more for the price paid.
Furthermore, the maintenance of the hotel could be improved. Some guests, including myself, encountered issues with malfunctioning appliances or fixtures that needed repair. The hotel's attention to these details would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
While the breakfast offered a decent selection of dishes, the dining area itself felt crowded during peak hours, and the service was a bit slow. The hotel could benefit from better organization and additional seating options to accommodate all guests comfortably.
In conclusion, while the Concord Hotel Dar Al Khair has its positive aspects, such as its convenient location and friendly staff, there are clear areas that need improvement. Enhancing cleanliness standards, updating the decor, and addressing maintenance issues would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. With some attention to these areas, this hotel has the potential to become a more enjoyable stay for visitors to Madinah.

The worst hotel in which my family and I (four members) had ever stayed in our entire life so far, the workers deal with the utmost disregard, constant nervousness, and disrespect. The room had cockroaches and small disgusting insects coming out of the crack between the wall and the floor, and the bathroom had toilet paper about to run out with no spare, the cups were stained, the water boiler was rusted .
So, we asked to change the room, and they sent us an employee to inspect, so they offered to use an insecticide while we're staying in the room, but we refused and still demanded to change rooms. Unfortunately, it took them a whole day to finally listen. When the worker came and asked us to take a look at the room before we do the move
and we went with him to inspect the new room, he was very aggressive with us, and me and my sisters had to examine 4 rooms until we found an "okay" room to sleep the night as our flight back was scheduled the next day..Unfortunately, the hotel and most of the staff lack the basic hospitality manners, and I certainly will not repeat this experience again, and I do not recommend anyone ever to stay in this hotel

Went to them to sort out an anniversary trip to Dubai and not only were the prices better than I'd find, the luggage upgrade and the service was exemplary.
The hotel was located perfectly and all information I required was provided to me before the trip and my mind was put at ease as any questions I had were answered.
The transfers that were booked from the airport to the hotel were spot on and their timing was perfect not forgetting the convenience of the whole thing as well.
