I don’t know how this hotel has a 4.5 stars.. this was so expensive for finding mold in the bathrooms (video and picture) the bed is not comfortable, there is a beep sound in every floor and they don’t turn off at night time ( video). And when we asked them to turn off they said it’s like this and they can’t do nothing. It beeps every 10-20 seconds.. you can’t sleep.. Also the windows are so dirty that you can’t see anything outside ( picture).. the minimum you should keep are things cleaned.. the safe was also locked and not working, so we didn’t want housekeeping since we had our passports in the room.. we contacted them, they could not fix and that’s it.. it’s broken. The inclusive dinner does not even include soda.. only water! I have nothing good to say. Even the short distance is not worth the money they charge. There are better options around. Sanitary and health services should be contacted for these molds.. True 5 star hotels would never be like this one. This hotel needs urgent updates.. And do you know what answer you get from them? Literally nothing! Any hotel that is 5 star would make sure things like these are working and cleaned and would at minimum provide 5 star Costumer service. Only one area where there is room for improvement. The breakfast buffet has plenty of different items but if you are from South Asian subcontinent, then you will feel disappointed because mainly the dishes are either Arabic and some European. I had requested early check-in by emailing and trying to contact the hotel in advance, but received no response at all. When I arrived around 10 a.m., I was tired and exhausted from travel. The receptionist told me the room was available, clean, and ready—but I couldn’t check in unless I paid an additional 350 riyals. I explained that I had tried to confirm early check-in beforehand, and i was with my elderly but nobody replied. Still, they insisted I pay. After some back and forth, and only when I pushed and argued, the receptionist spoke to the manager. Eventually, they allowed me to check in for free, but it took a long time and felt unnecessarily difficult . the room itself was excellent—spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The location was good. The overall ambiance of the hotel was good, and even the lift/elevator was smooth and well-maintained. Everything about the stay was great, except for the check-in experience. The location is perfect for its close proximity to female prayer area in Masjid-al-Nabawi as well as shopping and nice and clean food options. On top of that, staff here have been exceptionally helpful and kind. Starting from help with the luggage at the arrival to waiting staff at the breakfast area as well as the concierge and lobby staff providing helpful information with local knowledge and advice. The breakfast options were superb. Only downside is the shower area as the water overflows after each shower. Hope the authorities will fix this soon. The pancakes were made fresh, and the proportions were great. The fruits were also top quality, especially the sweet melon. The rooms had a cozy view of the other hotels nearby. The amenities such as the sewing kit and slippers were very useful, and were provided abundantly. The Masjid al Nabawi was very close-by and easy to walk to for daily prayers. The room service food for dinner was excellent, and my top highlight for that was the fettuccini spaghetti. The rooms were slightly small, and the bathroom was luxury. During my recent stay at the Al Aqeeq Madinah Hotel, I had both positive and negative experiences. Firstly, the hotel's location was very convenient as it was located close to the Madina Al Munawarman Mosque and there were plenty of stores nearby. This made it easy for me to explore the area during my stay. The hotel's restaurant was also impressive, offering a variety of international food options and most of it was delicious. However, I was disappointed with the front staff of the restaurant. Despite having a package for three people, which included breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they kept mistaking the number of guests in my party. This happened every time we entered the restaurant (and we stayed there for 4 nights) which was frustrating. On the other hand, the hotel's lobby had a small Starbucks store, which was a nice touch. I particularly enjoyed the comfort of the hotel's beds. They were soft and comfortable, and I was able to fall asleep immediately upon lying down. The hotel's size was not too big, the elevator was small and not very effective. This caused a bit of inconvenience, especially during rush hour, as I had to wait a while for the elevator. The toilets have no handles on the side for getting up and the most of the furniture in the Badr Suite was old and dilapidated. There was no attempt by the staff to help assist us to deal with the issue of a wheelchair access either. The safe took two days to be reset in order that it could be used. Don't compare 5-star hotel in Ur country with this one As in Indonesia, it's just like 2-star hotel. The best part of this hotel is very near with Nabawi, and direct to women area. Check in was a little disappointing as the staff were not at all welcoming. The rest of the stay was amazing. Cleaning staff and waiters were really great to deal with. It is very close to the haram. Breakfast, lunch and supper was really great. Amazing selection at the buffet. You will save a lot of time eating at the hotel instead of queuing at fast food restaurants or restaurants in the mall. The rooms were not exactly 5 star but on a whole a really awesome place. I would recommend this place and would stay here again. Read less

We had really good experience but somehow some things were missing like the tea coffee mugs were missing...we asked for extra blanket but it was not provided.coffee machine was supposed to b der with complimentary capsules for the first day of stay...they said it was out of order..etc But other services like the cooling was not fine when we checked in , it was fixed immediately. It is very bad hotel and does not deserve 5 stars hotel, I stayed here for 3 days so far and no one come to clean the rooms, i called room service from reception i got passed to them, they didn’t understand a word of English ( and you call you self 5 star) The bed smell very bad and itch all the night. The bathrooms water supply has no pressure. I spoke to room service ask for towels and toiletries and it’s been over 2 hours and still not received them. The reception desk employee have so much attitude. They look down on you. A budget hotel will do a better job for the service. I tried to pay for the hotel prior to me coming but they didn’t take the money out my account. When i got to the hotel they charged me extra because of the exchange rate. Plus they never said anything about tax being paid. Absolutely scam artist. Read less

The hotel is less than 5 min walk from Haram. The room is spacious. However, the cleanliness was not as expected, especially the bathroom - given the high price. The bathroom ceiling and the toilet needed repairing. And, the most annoying thing is that you cannot open the windows. We just came out of a pandemic and no one allowed to open the windows to circulate the air. My whole family got sick because of this issue. Read less
