We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights the hotel is a great location for the Haram including having Kaaba views however there were a few things which can be improved. It is also worth knowing there are 2 lifts required to get to your room but the lifts are frequent but busy at times. 1. Our room had 4 beds was to solved in a day or so however no one came to remove the beds so we were very tight on space this was agreed at check in would be resolved 2. We had to ring housekeeping several times for them to bring towels to our room given room clean was not timely. 3. Even after requesting a room clean with the sign on the door no one would come so I would have to tell the housekeeping team I saw in other rooms to clean mine or call reception to get it cleaned sooner 4. I requested a staff member to send some zamzam to my room to which he agreed and it didn't come which is disappointing 5. The check in and check out process was not efficient as there was only 1 member on the front desk and therefore took a while which isn’t great 6. On check out we called 1 hour before we wanted to leave to ensure someone was there to bring our bags and no one came and also called again. In the end we had to go downstairs and only then someone came up with me 7. The breakfast process needs to be smoother by opening all 3 areas to make it easier for everyone the queues are very long and a lot of pushing and shoving which could be avoided. 8. The breakfast drinks are very limited and need to speak to the right people to request proper krak tea. The Moroccan supervisor was great I forgot his name and was very helpful to get us karak tea with milk. 9. When the food runs out on the counter it takes a long time for the staff to refill for example I was waiting for 5 mins for bread to be refilled Read less

The hotel’s proximity to the Haram is incredibly convenient—just take any elevator from the Clock Tower to P5, and you’re right there. Our room with a Kaaba view was beyond words—such a spiritually uplifting sight to wake up to each day. The shared mosque on P9 was another great feature, allowing us to pray in congregation with ease. I strongly suggest booking a package that includes breakfast or half board. The meals were varied, fresh, and perfect for families. What’s more, the pricing often covers two adults and two children, making it excellent value. A special mention to Mr. Mazen at the Front Desk—he made our stay even better. He’s extremely courteous, speaks English fluently, and always greeted us with a warm smile. His respectful and helpful manner really stood out. Mr. Adel at front seat while checkin was very professional, polite n humble with good command over English. Over all excellent staff in all areas. The hotel is in a big mall which opens into the courtyard leading to the grand mosque. Elevators that are common to the mall and the hotel are busy. The hotel has its own elevators that take you down to the haram which are less busy. The food is good. Fresh fruit choice is limited to only apples and oranges sometimes watermelon. My father and I had a mixed bag of experiences at this hotel but ended up happy with the stay. When we arrived at the location we were told that there were no rooms at the upper floors. We were given a third floor room that hadn't properly been cleaned. We were then offered a room of the same size on the eighth floor... So obviously they didn't offer the best room to us in the first place. Another problem was that after extending for one day the hotel repeatedly called us insisting that we hadn't paid. It turned out it was a fault in their system. Finally, despite making booking for 2 people, the hotel said only one person could attend breakfast. How, in a room for 2, can you say only one person could attend breakfast? Now, despite all these problems the hotel staff did provide quick solutions and were courteous and apologetic. On the final day the hotel manager called us personally and went above and beyond in apologizing and providing us with ample time to check out. The room itself was not particularly stellar. The beds were fine and I appreciated the complimentary fruits, sweets, water and utilities like iron table, prayer rug, and so on. The bathroom could be better as I really don't like open showers. The roof floor restaurant and the staff working there are excellent. The best thing about this hotel is obviously the location. You can't beat it. Read less

Despite calling for water and amenities for hours, they ARE NOT RESPONDING! I AM HERE RIGHT NOW and even after complaining to their so called managers, none of them leading me to the real one, they are just making empty promises and doing nothing Please everyone, prefer a 1 star over this one. Trust me you would get better service and cleanliness there for the best price. I am literally being humiliated here for paying such a large amount of money. I have rated this hotel five stars based on earlier experience as I was impressed by the hotel service and the kindness of the staff, in addition to the newness of the hotel and its great location. However, based on my new experience I have taken two stars as it did not meet my expectations this time. The rooms’ furniture deteriorated, and so is the service especially from the reception. We asked for a room upgrade, and were told that no rooms were available although it was obvious that this was not the case, and rooms were available on the Booking. I had to speak to the shift manager to get the room upgrade. The breakfast arrived cold and did not meet the request. The laundry services are very expensive even by hotels’ standard. I am keeping the three stars for two reasons: - the swift response from the shift manager and his kindness in changing the room in a very short time. - the kindness of the housekeeping staff, especially, Suhail Rana. My family and I found the beds in the twin room in the executive suite were extremely soft. I literally was in pain sleeping in that bed. 😞 We found writing and scrabbles on the lamp in the living room, marks and scratches on the wall. More work needs to go into this hotel.
