We had the most memorable time at this hotel. We were there to perform our umrah, and the rooms were so comfortable. The bathrooms were fantastic with good pressure and gorgeous hot water.
The elevators were so impressive because there was hardly any delay despite the hotel being quite full. The hotel is located within the haram and is a few minutes to gate 79 (King Fahd Gate). So convenient. There is a lovely mall downstairs at kevel C1, which is also the level used to exit to the haram. The mall has some great shops and fantastic restaurants. You can get the famous milk tea upstairs at the mall's food court.
The breakfast is incredible! I was shocked by the amazing range of foods on offer. They start breakfast a bit late at 6.30 am, which is not always convenient if you are praying fajr salat at 5am. It means you have a super long wait. However, I definitely recommend going g to breakfast early as it gets busier as the morning wears on. Breakfast ends at 11 am, with the last entry to the breakfast area at 10.30 am.
The beds are very comfortable, and I slept like a log. The air-conditioning is very good, despite the blazing heat outside (we were there at the onset of summer and it was sweltering outside). I love the loudspeaker in the room, which means you hear all the salat in the haram directly. There were some instances where it was easier for me to pray in the room, and I didn't feel like I missed out at all.
I recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

Breakfast is great and the walk to the haram is very short. The location is right behind dar al taqwa.

Please be aware that the hotel takes your booking and it is very misleading. I have booked for 2 Adults and 2 Children ages 12 & 12. Upon arrival they have provided a room with 2 single beds. Any reasonable person will accept that 4 persons cannot fit on 2 single beds. The beds are literally single not extra large or anything just regular singles. But the hotel will not provide any extra bedding and insist I have to pay for extra beds. How is this fair? If the hotel want to do this they should not be accepting bookings in this way as they are misleading. Also if they are accepting this type of booking then they have a duty to advise before guest arrival that they will only provide 2 single beds. This way the guest has a choice to decide if they will keep the booking. Clearly nobody will as they will not fit. So the message is stop misleading and start being fair.

Dear Hyatt Regency Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am considering booking a room at your hotel, but I have a quick question before finalizing my reservation. During a previous stay at a different hotel in makkah, I encountered an issue where the windows could not be opened. Since I am sensitive to air conditioning, it is important for me to have access to fresh air.
Could you please confirm whether the windows in your guest rooms can be opened?
Thank you in advance for your help. I look forward to your response.
Best regards

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Makkah for two days during Ramadan, and I must say it was our best and most memorable trip. It was my sister’s first time visiting Makkah, and thanks to this hotel, her Umrah and Ibadah experience was smooth and easy.
My elderly mother was also very happy with the stay. Since the hotel is just a short walk from the Haram, she was able to go by herself without any difficulty, which gave us peace of mind.
The location is excellent—right next to the Haram. There’s a shopping center downstairs, and even a mosque inside the hotel with separate prayer areas for men and women, which was very convenient.
We booked a deal that included both Suhoor and Iftar, and the food was amazing with so much variety. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the hotel has all the amenities you could need.
The staff was really helpful and kind throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Makkah!

Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency is a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is within walking distance of the Grand Mosque, and it is also close to a number of other important religious sites.
The hotel has a total of 1,510 rooms and suites, all of which are spacious and luxuriously appointed. The rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city or the Grand Mosque, king-size beds, marble bathrooms, and a variety of amenities.
The hotel has a number of dining options, including a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, a coffee shop, and a rooftop bar with stunning views of the city. There is also a spa, a fitness center, and a swimming pool.
The hotel's staff is friendly and helpful, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that guests have a pleasant stay.
Here are some of the pros and cons of Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency:
Pros:
Excellent location
Spacious and luxurious rooms
Variety of dining options
Friendly and helpful staff
State-of-the-art facilities
Cons:
Can be noisy during peak times
Expensive
Some rooms have limited views
Overall, Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency is a great choice for travelers who are looking for a luxurious and convenient hotel in Mecca. The hotel is well-located, the rooms are spacious and luxurious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the hotel can be noisy during peak times and it is quite expensive.
Here are some tips for staying at Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency:
Book your room early: The hotel is popular, so it is important to book your room early, especially if you are traveling during peak times.
Ask for a room with a view of the Grand Mosque: If you want to wake up to stunning views of the Grand Mosque, be sure to ask for a room with a view.
Bring earplugs: The hotel can be noisy during peak times, so it is a good idea to bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise.
Be prepared to spend a lot of money: The hotel is quite expensive, so be prepared to spend a lot of money if you stay there.
I hope this helps!

It's worth noting that there's no fridge nor a coffee station in the room. The breakfast buffet is huge quantity but average in quality. However, location is top and service is outstanding.

Service, food and the condition of the hotel and rooms are great. However, it is quite a distance to get to the Mosque as they close off most of the entrances and direct you to the extension. Location is a key factor and there are probably better located hotels which will allow you to get into the Gharam.

Good stay - nice touch with the club lounge - be aware this is only for 5-7pm and have a limited, repeated menu. The service was good. Location wise - one of the best in Makkah. However you don't get a full Haram view. Cleanliness is very good - excellent service at the reception desk and housekeeping. Disappointed with the bed size - despite the Hyatt website saying each bed sleeps 2, they don't - they're single beds. This is why we would reconsider staying here again. I would consider the Conrad where the bed size is more generous. Overall a good stay.

The distance to get to the haram is at least 10 minutes considering the slow lifts and would recommend making ways at least 5 minutes before the adhan. I would not recommend using the AC as the air ventilation is dirty and you will end up falling sick. The hotel definitely needs to invest in new air conditioners that can be serviced regularly. However, it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, the service was outstanding.

If i could rate this hotel a zero i would. For the amount of money paid the services we got were so so so bad. The towels were disgusting with stains in them and body hair. TWICE. The sheets smelled like food. Actually the entire hotel smelled like food. The staff are not helpful. It took them 4 hours to deliver our shopping to the room. Total rip off. Most important thing is hygiene, there was none here i was so scared to even sleep on the ripped bed sheets that were provided. Disgusting.

This hotel is literally few steps from gate 79 that is designated for women and any person who is planning for a Omra. The rooms are spacious and my room specifically has a great view. The dine in menu does not have much options. The hotel is in a mall area, however the shops do not have variety of options. There is a big super market in the mall which makes it easier to find anything u need. Although they offer the choice that u can have a late checkout to 3 oclock and pay 25% of the stay or stay to 6 and pay 50%, they are always fully booked that they can not deliver this option. In summary The hotel is great

Although this is my second time to stay in this hotel. I was very satisfied with my first experience, however my second experience was not very impressive. The location of the facility near the mosque and the attached mini mall remains a very attractive advantage. However staff services was not very welcoming and I felt some sort of dullness. The room furniture requires better maintenance particularly the carpet. The bathroom cleanness was above average. Value for money was not optimal maybe because it’s Ramadan season and prices for all hotels near the mosque are elevated. $$$$
My experience with Direct reservation via the reservation center of the hotel was below average customer service representative was not Very helpful which made me make my reservations through Booking.com
I hope the hotel management pays more attention to find details to live up to the name of Hyatt Regency international Brand.

The hotel, location and amenities are awesome. The bed are very comfortable and the rooms are also spacious. It's just 1-2 min walk from king Fahd gate Al Haram. However, the attitude of room service is not good. We asked them to bring in the table and open it but at first he refused it. Upon asking again, he opened it as if he is doing something very big for us. I'm giving 2 star because of their behavior. Rest everything about the property is amazing.

One major thing that ruined this hotel for me was the air conditioning. My mum, dad and I got really sick. it seems as if they don’t regularly clean and dust kept coming out of the filter. My mum being really sensitive to dust got really sick, we had to keep the air conditioning on though as it was really hot. Not a good place for health.

Terrible Experience – Not a 5-Star Hotel!
Do not be fooled by the 5-star rating — this hotel is barely a 3-star at best. Our first room had visible mould, a broken shower and bathtub, filthy carpets, and layers of dust and dirt everywhere. We requested a room change, but the second room had the exact same issues. The third room was even worse — it started to smell like sewage shortly after we checked in.
The entire hotel is extremely outdated, with rooms that look like they haven’t been renovated since the 1980s. This is nowhere near the standard you’d expect from a supposed 5-star establishment.
To make matters worse, Alharam Travel (Romford Road, London) changed our hotel last minute — not once, but twice — and placed us in this awful place. Completely unacceptable and disappointing from both the hotel and the travel agency.
Avoid at all costs.

Title: Conveniently Located Hotel with Some Areas for Improvement - Frontel Madinah
I recently stayed at Frontel Madinah during my visit to the holy city of Madinah, and overall, it was a decent experience. The hotel boasts a fantastic location, being near the iconic Masjid Nabawi, which made it very convenient for attending prayers and exploring the city.
However, I must admit that the first impression of the hotel was slightly underwhelming. The elevator was disappointingly slow, leading to some frustrating wait times during peak hours. Additionally, the elevator itself was quite cramped, which could be uncomfortable, especially for guests with mobility concerns.
One of the highlights of my stay was the food selection offered during breakfast and lunch. While not exceptional, the choices were satisfactory, and the quality was decent enough to start the day with a good meal. I especially enjoyed the Dacidoff coffee sachet provided in the room, which was a delightful touch.
Speaking of the rooms, I found them to be quite pleasant overall. The mattress was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep, and I was pleased to find two pillows for each occupant, allowing for personalized comfort. The housekeeping staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that the rooms were kept tidy and well-maintained throughout our stay.
Another delightful aspect of Frontel Madinah was its proximity to a Baskin Robbins cafe near the reception area. It was a perfect treat for a quick dessert after a day of exploring the city or attending prayers. Additionally, the hotel's location also allowed easy access to nearby shopping areas, which was a bonus for those who wanted to indulge in some retail therapy.
In conclusion, Frontel Madinah is a hotel with both pros and cons. While its location near Masjid Nabawi and friendly housekeeping staff are definite assets, there are areas that need improvement, such as the slow and cramped elevator. Despite some shortcomings, I would consider staying here again in the future, given its convenience and the overall satisfactory experience during my visit.

Except one thing is harmful.
I was staying in this hotel junior suite room 811 , stay date 28th July 2023.
As per picture, you guys can see there is a steel peice has been fixed on the pillar behind the bed. My son was sleeping on bed , during he sleep he turned his hands towards another direction and touched this steel piece, which results cuts on his hands due to this steel decoration peice has sharp edges.
You guys can see the blood on the bed of my son.

The only reason we evenrated it 2 stars was because of its location and convenience. I do no5 recommend this hotel and you should sav3 your money for a better hotel.

If you ask for extra room keys, they will provide you.
Only downside to me was the trolley service guys, they expect some money for their service which I didn't like.

The location of the hotel is perfect and it seems very clean and nice hotel. However I give 2 stars because I have faced the most disappointing behavior from this hotel. They canceled my reservation without giving me a reason and get back to me. After coming from long distance, I didn’t find any kind of hospitality and the only answer that I get “ Sorry, we are in season periodâ€. Which is not an excuse for such behavior.

The location and the room size (junior triples), parking free are only the good things in this hotel. The cupboards was broken, change the room, then the air conditioning stop working in the other room which needs to change the room again. The light wasn't working well. The staff were not qualified to work in hotels services, food in the resturant just okay no thing amazing. So many problems have in my stay in this hotel. Sanitiser in the lift always was empty. For sure I will not book in this hotel again and not recommend for people.

Haram is quite near to this hotel, especially the ladies gate. Supermarket Bindawood is at a few steps to buy anything.

It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had, as the prices were prohibitive for such a service. Bad rooms, size very cramped and not clean at all. Breakfast was bad too, it was the worst two nights I had in town. I also booked the room for a price and upon checking out the hotel they asked me double the price !!!!! Lack of credibility, lack of hygiene, very poor service.

Though the place is good but you can not call it a five star hotel in any sense. Double bedroom is actually consist of two single beds joined together. So you can imagine how would it feel like to rest on it with a family. Apart from that, the management is cooperative and helpful. And very much close to gate 16 of Majid nabi saww. The breakfast is awesome consisting of different yogurts, fresh fruits, fresh juices, breads and buns, muffins, donuts, omelets, scrambled eggs, falafel, one main dish, rice, salads, different types of cheese slices and many more.

Alhamduliah - My wife and I were both blessed by Allah to perform our Hajj in 2018. Searching through all the different tour operators was a challenge, and then we came across Quba and from the initial telephone conversation we instantly knew that Quba was the tour operator to go with. No regrets, clear communication very professional definitely Recommend Quba - May Allah Bless Them - wish we were still out there!

Cleanliness
The Masjid appears clean and well maintained. The wudu area has dry floors, is quite spacious. It is not wet and messy like that in some other Masajid.
What's on offer
5 daily prayers, sometimes talks, occasionally youth talks, and recently a kids talk or story for primary school ages. A prayer hall with the sort of carpet that is decorated in rectangular shapes, almost suggesting a rectangle per person which is not quite stuck to when prayer starts and worshippers stand shoulder to shoulder. The prayer hall looks like it can accommodate hundreds of worshippers. There is another little section some use behind the main prayer hall nearer the wudu area.
There are some chairs for those who need them.
The Masjid has a community centre next door but this seems to only be open during the week according to Google Maps.
I have attended a couple of youth and other talks which have been good and well attended.
I saw a visitor kitchen too.
Price
People can donate if they choose.
Atmosphere
The Masjid is one of the best I have been to for adherence to salat, for worshippers not just doing the fard or obligatory prayers but then dutifully, conscientiously doing some non obligatory prayers or rakats after the obligatory ones.
Many Masajid I have been to get around 10, 20, 40, 50 for daily prayers but here I saw over 100 people doing salat or prayer at a time. Excellent. The youngsters though seem to turn up just before, like one minute before prayer starts and leave almost the minute it finishes.
Service
Staff or volunteers are always friendly and helpful.
Toilets
The toilets are clean and plentiful but some were sadly lacking toilet paper when I inspected months ago.

Alhamdulillah, what a brilliant experience! And not just the umrah trip itself, but also the process from enquiring, quotation and payments, to getting there and getting assistance at every turn. Allahummabariq. May Allah bless Br Shahid and the Quba Team. Any issue i ever had whilst there, Br Shahid was a msg away. Prior to even leaving the UK, Br Shahid was kept me informed at every turn even though he himself was abroad. I would not hesitate in recommending Quba Travels and I intend to use them in the future myself.

Shahid has organised a Hajj trip for me and my wife in 2018 and I went on Umrah as soon as restrictions were lifted in Ramadan 2022. He has been wonderful throughout the trip and support me even when he returned to UK and I was in Medina. I would wholeheartedly recommend brother Shahid to anyone thinking of this beautiful journey. He is always available on WhatsApp and responds really quickly.

Alhamdulillah my family and I had an amazing Umrah experience! The process of booking and during our stay there all felt very easy Alhamdulillah. Our questions were always answered. The team at Quba Travel were very helpful, accommodating and responsive. We couldn’t have wished for our trip to go any more smoothly than it did - and we are so grateful to have experienced such a memorable trip and didn’t feel any stress with logistics, transport, accommodation etc as it was very well organised. Will definitely be recommending Quba Travel to my family and friends!

I had a fantastic trip, highlighted by the 5 following points in particular: 1) a family friendly experience: the tours take into account the needs and wants of all visitors 2) a stress free Hajj / Umrah: I was able to fully immerse myself in the experience, without having to worry about any of the logistics 3) knowledgeable, experienced and extremely approachable and friendly guides: the team were always at hand to answer my questions, and also provided extremely insightful commentary all the way through our trip 4) visits which go above and beyond, including guided tours to various historical sites 5) carefully thought out itineraries: our journey included Jummuah's in Mecca and Medina and Ihram at Dhul Hulayfah. Quba's service speaks for itself and I hope they continue to exceed expectations.

I have been in contact with Quba Travel Ltd for the past 2 years regarding Hajj. Due to the pandemic, we could not go to hajj in 2020 or 2021 and just about a month ago when we were looking to get ready to go to hajj in 2022 with Quba travel, the Saudi hajj ministry had other plans. Even though we now are unable to go to Hajj with Quba anymore, I would still recommend them for 2 reasons, one is because of my dear friend Shaykh Abid Khan's recommendation of Quba back in 2019 and second, because of my experience with them over the last 2 years. There was a lot of uncertainty during the pandemic but at each stage I was given a thorough update about any and all developments regarding the state of hajj. I specifically want to thank brother Shahid with whom I had the most contact with. He was mashaAllah incredibly courteous, professional and helpful in all of his emails and phone calls. Alhamdullilah, I felt content every time I spoke with him and even now that we are parting ways, he has offered to help should I get selected for Hajj this year inshaAllah. May Allah reward brother Shahid and other brothers in Quba travel who provided me with timely updates. May Allah grant everyone associated with Quba Travel with an abundance of sustenance and blessings and put barakah in their business. Ameen. Wasalaam. Dr Bilal Ahmad
