Our recent stay was unfortunately quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay despite having already settled the bill through Booking.com, which was an unusual and inconvenient start.
The bathroom in our room had a persistent, unpleasant odor from the drain and toilet. The sink only provided scalding hot water, posing a safety concern for children. Breakfast was consistently stale, limited, and lacked freshness.
The hotel receptionists, particularly Baitool, were unprofessional and unhelpful, demonstrating a clear lack of customer service.
The sole redeeming quality of this hotel is its excellent location, being just a 10-15 minute walk from Masjid Nabwi.

Room bathroom smells horrible. There is no air ventilation that works. Hygiene is poor. Service has been slow. Receptionists does not show professionalism, and when you ask or tell them something, they laugh and do not help. The restaurant has no fresh food, and they do not replenish food when the trays are finished. I would not stay here again. There are no security tags for baggage.

The key selling point of this hotel is the name of Hazrat Usman. However the overall experience here is very average. The room was very small, the overall look and feel of the room was workout, washroom was also just clean. Reception picks up phone at will so there is mostly no access to room service.
The hotel is still sold out however for the amount they charge the value being offered is not much. Booked through booking. Com where the reviews were above average however the experience won't give this place a recommendation....

I’m really disappointed with my experience at this hotel. My brother forgot his key card, so I brought it with me while I was out. When he couldn’t reach me, he went to reception to ask for another key — but they refused to give him one. Instead, they just went up and opened the door for him. This felt humiliating — after paying nearly £100 per night, you’d expect a bit more consideration and basic service.
On top of that, the room’s electricity only works when the key card is in the slot, which meant my brother had no power while waiting for me and had to rely on a portable charger. The water pressure in the bathroom was also extremely low, making it hard to take a proper shower.
For the price we’re paying, this kind of lack of consideration and inconvenience is unacceptable. Wouldn’t recommend — there are better places for the money.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was quite pleasant. The hotel and rooms are lovely, and I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable stay. The cleaners and other staff were really nice and welcoming, which made me feel at ease.
However, my experience at check-in was extremely frustrating. The receptionists and the people working at the till were absolutely terrible. When I arrived, they claimed I didn’t have a booking and made me wait around. Even after showing them my booking confirmation and payment, they insisted that someone had taken my key and that I was part of a group—though I had no group leader and wasn’t traveling with anyone. They couldn’t seem to make up their minds and kept giving me conflicting stories.
The young lady at the till, who was wearing a hijab, was particularly unhelpful, insisting on things that weren’t true. After a while, I decided to contact my travel agency, and once they reached out to the hotel, the staff suddenly gave me the keys right away—without any real apology or explanation. The staff at the tills were rude, arrogant, and made the check-in process far more stressful than it needed to be. It was a shame because the rest of the hotel was great.
In short, if you’re planning to stay here, just be prepared for a potentially frustrating check-in experience, but once you're past that, it’s a nice place with lovely staff elsewhere.

I recently stayed at the Emaar Grand Hotel in Mecca, booking a room advertised for five people. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially larger groups.
The room itself was incredibly tight for five beds. We were practically on top of each other, and there was barely any space to move around or store our belongings comfortably. This lack of space made our stay very uncomfortable and frankly, quite stressful.
Beyond the cramped quarters, the room service was also severely lacking. On multiple occasions, we tried to contact room service, but the phone simply went unanswered. This made it impossible to request basic necessities or address any issues we had.
Considering the high price we paid for this hotel, the level of service and the size of the room were completely unacceptable. It felt like we were significantly overcharged for a very poor experience.
If you are planning a trip to Mecca and require accommodation for more than a couple of people, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The Emaar Grand Hotel's cramped rooms and unreliable service are not worth the money or the frustration. Save yourself the disappointment and book a different hotel.

The only nice thing about the hotel is its interior. The hotel facilities were rubbish. The shower cubicle wouldn’t close properly and the water would wet the whole floor in the bathroom. The hair dryer in the bathroom has such low power that it will take you an hour to dry your long hair with it. The bathroom plumbing was horrific, whenever you run water you can smell of the gutter. The room ventilation system seems like it hasn’t been cleaned in years and would definitely make you sick!
The place just looks fancy from the interior used but has little to no facilities available. Breakfast was super bland and basic. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

I'll consider other options (distance from Haram and room service), before booking it again.

I am currently staying here and as I am writing this review i’m waiting for maintenance to come because my room power keeps stopping. We have only been here for two days tonight being the third and i am just honestly so ready to go home, which is upsetting.
1) the rooms are decent sized, as far as i know. our room was for three people so there were three beds. Very standard. However, the windows are broken and you can hear EVERYTHING outside.
2) the toilet smells and is always 24/7 hot. It’s very tight and cramped. and once again like every other review we were only given two towels despite being three people. Normally hotels i’ve been to you get at least two towels per person the second one being a smaller towel??!
3) THE LIFTS. If you want clarity and a peace of mind please don’t even consider booking here! There are so many lifts but there are WAYY MORE people. You can wait for the lift for almost 1 HOUR
4) Lastly the distance. It’s not worth your money it’s a long walk and isn’t “5 minutes”!
All in all i definitely will not be staying here the only bonus points is the staff excluding reception!

The location is about 7-8 mkns walks from the entrance of haram gate 79 .
The hotel itself looks very presentable but rooms are very dated and need refurbishment. Frontbif house need better Customer service skills especially the lady at reception who when posed with a problem seems to uses gestures and arrogance as her way to deal with issues.
The gentlemen and the service guys are very helpful and pleasant.
Having stayed for a few days with several problems and then room changes this seemed to be common as many other guests had the same issue and same broken promises. For a hotel with ample rooms it seemed like they just couldn't be bothered.
Broken telephones broken lights , lack of facilities and 1 iron to use amongst the hundreds of rooms and you won't get one for 3 days and even then you only can use for 1 hr, constant trips to reception but all broken false promises.
The good things about the place is it is value for money and you could see that once upon a time it was 5 star but now pushing 3 stars. The location is on Ibrahim al khalil St with plenty of food and shopping available nearby.

Alhamdulillah We arrived on the 24th July 2023 from Malaysia. The lady reception is really nice and polite. She makes the check in process really straight foward and fast for me and my father. May Allah ease her life. The breakfast is good. The hotel is around 10-12 minutes to Haram. Room is big and toilet is clean.Aircond is superb. Wifi also very fast. Im grateful to found this hotel even is not like the nearest or higher star to masjid..
Its still a good and clean room. Also theres a lot of shop/food along the way to hotel from masjid. So you wont be feel like walking far. InsyaAllah will come back.

To be honest when I read the reviews of this hotel I had a different image in my head. But my stay proved the reviews wrong. It was a lovely hotel. House keeping were 5 âï¸. Always helpful, gave everything i needed. Cleaned the room when I asked. Like I said housekeeping were just GREAT. The location of the hotel was in the BEST place. Everything in my convenience and the best thing was that it was just a 10min walk to haram shareef. I will give it 5/5

Terrible service and hotel management.
Booked a 4 persons room, it was terrible as the beds were laid out in a very awkward position that left no other space in the hotel room, we barely had enough space to open our suitcases.
The hotel management in general is poor, they don't clean the rooms properly. Everytime we ask for water bottles they either only give 2 or don't give any. We had a minor incident where we needed to check the CCTV footage for our floor, it took 3 days for us to finally get somewhere with this.
Hotel manager is rude and walked off as we were speaking to him. The reception staff again is incompetent and does not seem to care about anything.
The switches are really strange as the sockets are connected to the lights in the room, everytime u want to charge your phone etc u have to keep the light on which is really really strange.
The only thing that was decent was the food. Breakfast and dinner items are always fresh and they change the dishes they make quite often . The tables are cleaned frequently and food gets replenished every time it finishes.

Receptionist lady at the Restaurant upstairs on Thursday 23rd February 2023 during dinner time was so rude. She doesn’t have basic manners. I asked nicely if they can heat my kids food, instead of refusing nicely, she pointed me to the door in front of everyone. SO RUDE!

It's a 10-minute straight walk to harm. No uphill or downhill. So was comfortable for kids to walk.
They have a separate floor for a restaurant which we didn't use. Floor for Parking and a floor for Prayer hall.

This is a very good hotel compared to the other hotels in the vicinity. It’s located in Ibrahim Al Khalil street, about 1 Km walk from the Haram (about 15-20 minutes walk depending on your speed). I have booked a quad room. It was spacious, clean and doesn’t smell. It had street view, from the 8th floor, beds and linen were clean, bathroom was well maintained and clean. The room is spacious enough for the needs, there is a kettle and facility to make coffee, and there is a small fridge.
Electronic card keys work fine with no issues. There is a small wardrobe / hanger for clothes. The single beds and mattresses are comfortable. I would give this room / hotel an overall rating of 8/10. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was almost seamless with no issues.
It did take few minutes longer to check in more than necessary, but compared to other hotels in the region and previous experiences, it was really good.

There is two hotel towers we were in tower A so I don't know about tower B. From the outside, lobby restaurant tower A was 4 star but the room was a little 3 star - no carpet and the bathroom was not as modern for 4 star rating. I was able to perform my Hajj with Al-Amanah. Everything went as expected we were updated throughout the journey and given enough time to prepare for each stage of the journey.
The Al-Amanah team were great and was always available if needed. I went on the 18-day package and even though it seemed a lot of days it was still quite intense I would suggest people are prepared for that as this is how it is especially for the elderly as you may not get the recovery time you desire if you were on a 4-week package so consider that.
Al-Amanah did their best to help us recover as much as we could in the time we had but you have to remember that Hajj is done on specific days and times so have to be prepared.
Al-Amanah respects all sects and allows people to carry out their Hajj as desired according to their understanding and belief.
Overall nice people and to begin with we were strangers and we came back as a family so all good memories.

I first came across Al Amanah on Instagram — their page looked really professional and well maintained, and their YouTube videos from previous years gave us a clear picture of what the Hajj experience would look like with them. That transparency really helped us feel confident when making our decision.
From the beginning, the team was supportive with everything — from helping us sort passports to guiding us through the booking process. Everything was handled in such an organised and professional way.
During the trip, the Hajj itself was managed really well. The private buses were always on time and comfortable. The team was always available to assist with anything we needed, which meant we could focus fully on the spiritual side of the journey without getting caught up in logistics.
We did have a hiccup when our outbound flight got cancelled by the airline, but Al Amanah quickly arranged a new one with minimal disruption — that kind of quick action made a big difference and kept things stress-free.
Now as we head home, I can honestly say I’d recommend Al Amanah to anyone looking to go for Hajj. The experience was smooth, supportive, and truly memorable.
JazakAllah khair to the whole Al Amanah team — may Allah reward you for making this journey as easy and meaningful as possible.

I was nervous when booking, but Al Amanah truly lived up to their name. Everything was well organised, and they made our Ramadan and umrah trip memorable. My parents were smiling throughout the journey, which meant the world to me. Having been let down in the past, I was wary, but Al Amanah proved to be trustworthy and reliable. They were easy to contact and always available 24/7 and very patient in meeting our needs. Every member of their team was helpful and professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommended! I’ll definitely be booking with them again in the future

Assalamu Alaikum! I wanted to share my review of Al-Amanah Hajj & Umrah with you. My wife and I recently went on our first Umrah, and it was such a special and smooth experience, all thanks to this amazing company. Additionally, Brother Ahmed’s exceptional communication skills ensured that every detail was taken care of, making the entire process seamless. I was initially worried with the transfers as I’ve had bad experiences but Subhanallah the Makkah and Madinah team were absolutely spot on. May Allah continue to bless your travels and enrich your spiritual experiences. JazakAllah Khair!

Hajj is a once in a lifetime experience so your organisers can can have a profound impact on your experience. We were blessed to be part of an organization that took care of us throughout our beautiful journey. We had two excellent leaders who stayed with us on the entire trip and guided us from the start to finish with the essential knowledge for Hajj and logistics. Imam Makki and Imam Qari were excellent. The rest of the team were also on hand and supported us on the entire journey. Our stays in Azizyah and Madina were excellent. The transportation was first class. The food was amazing and we were fed and taken care of much more than I expected. We were given everything we needed by the organisation such as umbrellas, bags and lots of goodies which all came in extremely handy. I spoke to many people who weren’t given support so I think we were the only group that I know of that had 24/7 guidance and even after the trip the support hasn’t finished. Going with a Pakistani package far exceeded my expectations and I would 100% be recommending all my family and friends to go with Al Amanah.
Hajj has to be the best thing you ever do and so having only the best organization to take you is also just as important. They even arranged for all of us to visit the Rawda together as some got bookings and others didn’t.
Sobia looked after all us women and the men had a whole team of really friendly staff that took care of everything too. I will travel with them on their other tours too Insha Allah

I and my wife when to Hajj with Al Amanah June/July 2023, from the first phone conversation with sister sobia to actually meeting the whole group at Heathrow Airport the communication was excellent. Our every question was answered promptly and professionally. Travelling from Heathrow with all the group we had all met each other for the first time was very pleasant and it was just like traveling with extended family. Through out our Hajj we were guided by Qari Makki and Qari Qazi both with vast knowledge to help us understand everything we needed to know.
I would highly recommend booking Hajj & Umrah with Al Amanah. We will certainly be booking again with them In Sha Allah.

assalamu alaykum. May Allah bless u with the greatest reward in this life and the next . Appreciate the journey along the whole way medina to makkah . The iftar you provided for the group, the reminders and guidance for umrah. Also for making me a part of a great group in this umrah once again. I've been blessed to travel with Al Amanah several times ( first in 2014 alone ) Alhamdulliah and then repeatedly over the years with Makkah / Medina / Al Aqsa. Dont think I would want to travel with anyone else to be honest . Trustworthy, respectable individuals in the company keep it up this goes along way .I've been blessed to travel with Al Amanah more then one Alhamdulliah. May Allah allow you to assist me and my family in the future for many more Umrahs, Hajj & other trips. Stay safe and keep me all in duas and let's make these last 10 nights the best . The experience last year ramadan and this year just returning was phenomenal.Abdul Malik 🤲ðŸ¾ðŸ¥¹ðŸ’“

My mother and I were blessed with going to Hajj this year 1444H, 2023. Alhamdulillah. Re booking a package I was concerned for my mum as she is 60+ so I wanted a group which would put her needs first. Alhamdulillah thumma Alhamdulillah I cannot praise Al-Amanah enough they are the best group by far in my opinion (based on research of other groups and real life feedback from friends and family) the whole team is on hand from start to finish to look after and also honour the hujjaaj at every stage of the blessed journey. From a personalised phone call from the group director during the booking process to bespoke gifts at the end of this once in a lifetime journey, they could not work any harder to make things easy and also special for us, I witnessed them sacrificing their own sleep and food to ensure everything ran smoothly for us. Allaah ta’aala accept from them all including group leader Qari Makki Saab (his energy and passion is unparalleled and you’ll never catch him in the same place twice as he is always running around for the hujjaaj and constantly two steps ahead in his planning and concern mA) his esteemed father who joined us to deliver a spiritual heart rendering Islamic reminder, Moulana Qazi who was a fantastic spiritual guide throughout both proactively at every step and also reactively on hand to answer our questions and put us at ease throughout. Special thanks also to Sobia baji who was amazing during the booking process and assisted with travel documentation and extremely helpful throughout, Hamza Makki, Hammad Makki, Riaz Bhai, Jabir bhai, and all the rest of the team. Genuinely can’t recommend them enough. If you want a group that will put you first, ensure everything is looked after both logistically and spiritually, then you should definitely choose Al-Amanah Hajj & Umrah. JazaakumAllaah khair and the memories made will never be forgotten.
