Loved our visit to makkah. Stayed in emaar grand hotel. Group of 9. Everything was good. Just needed some toilet tiles work. The rest is 5*.
Would visit again.

I recently stayed at the Emaar Grand Hotel in Mecca, booking a room advertised for five people. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially larger groups.
The room itself was incredibly tight for five beds. We were practically on top of each other, and there was barely any space to move around or store our belongings comfortably. This lack of space made our stay very uncomfortable and frankly, quite stressful.
Beyond the cramped quarters, the room service was also severely lacking. On multiple occasions, we tried to contact room service, but the phone simply went unanswered. This made it impossible to request basic necessities or address any issues we had.
Considering the high price we paid for this hotel, the level of service and the size of the room were completely unacceptable. It felt like we were significantly overcharged for a very poor experience.
If you are planning a trip to Mecca and require accommodation for more than a couple of people, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The Emaar Grand Hotel's cramped rooms and unreliable service are not worth the money or the frustration. Save yourself the disappointment and book a different hotel.

The only nice thing about the hotel is its interior. The hotel facilities were rubbish. The shower cubicle wouldn’t close properly and the water would wet the whole floor in the bathroom. The hair dryer in the bathroom has such low power that it will take you an hour to dry your long hair with it. The bathroom plumbing was horrific, whenever you run water you can smell of the gutter. The room ventilation system seems like it hasn’t been cleaned in years and would definitely make you sick!
The place just looks fancy from the interior used but has little to no facilities available. Breakfast was super bland and basic. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

Breakfast was good as we had breakfast included in our booking
I'll consider other options (distance from Haram and room service), before booking it again.

I am currently staying here and as I am writing this review i’m waiting for maintenance to come because my room power keeps stopping. We have only been here for two days tonight being the third and i am just honestly so ready to go home, which is upsetting.
1) the rooms are decent sized, as far as i know. our room was for three people so there were three beds. Very standard. However, the windows are broken and you can hear EVERYTHING outside.
2) the toilet smells and is always 24/7 hot. It’s very tight and cramped. and once again like every other review we were only given two towels despite being three people. Normally hotels i’ve been to you get at least two towels per person the second one being a smaller towel??!
3) THE LIFTS. If you want clarity and a peace of mind please don’t even consider booking here! There are so many lifts but there are WAYY MORE people. You can wait for the lift for almost 1 HOUR
4) Lastly the distance. It’s not worth your money it’s a long walk and isn’t “5 minutes”!
All in all i definitely will not be staying here the only bonus points is the staff excluding reception!

The location is about 7-8 mkns walks from the entrance of haram gate 79 .
The hotel itself looks very presentable but rooms are very dated and need refurbishment. Frontbif house need better Customer service skills especially the lady at reception who when posed with a problem seems to uses gestures and arrogance as her way to deal with issues.
The gentlemen and the service guys are very helpful and pleasant.
Having stayed for a few days with several problems and then room changes this seemed to be common as many other guests had the same issue and same broken promises. For a hotel with ample rooms it seemed like they just couldn't be bothered.
Broken telephones broken lights , lack of facilities and 1 iron to use amongst the hundreds of rooms and you won't get one for 3 days and even then you only can use for 1 hr, constant trips to reception but all broken false promises.
The good things about the place is it is value for money and you could see that once upon a time it was 5 star but now pushing 3 stars. The location is on Ibrahim al khalil St with plenty of food and shopping available nearby.

Alhamdulillah We arrived on the 24th July 2023 from Malaysia. The lady reception is really nice and polite. She makes the check in process really straight foward and fast for me and my father. May Allah ease her life. The breakfast is good. The hotel is around 10-12 minutes to Haram. Room is big and toilet is clean.Aircond is superb. Wifi also very fast. Im grateful to found this hotel even is not like the nearest or higher star to masjid..
Its still a good and clean room. Also theres a lot of shop/food along the way to hotel from masjid. So you wont be feel like walking far. InsyaAllah will come back.

To be honest when I read the reviews of this hotel I had a different image in my head. But my stay proved the reviews wrong. It was a lovely hotel. House keeping were 5 âï¸. Always helpful, gave everything i needed. Cleaned the room when I asked. Like I said housekeeping were just GREAT. The location of the hotel was in the BEST place. Everything in my convenience and the best thing was that it was just a 10min walk to haram shareef. I will give it 5/5

Terrible service and hotel management.
Booked a 4 persons room, it was terrible as the beds were laid out in a very awkward position that left no other space in the hotel room, we barely had enough space to open our suitcases.
The hotel management in general is poor, they don't clean the rooms properly. Everytime we ask for water bottles they either only give 2 or don't give any. We had a minor incident where we needed to check the CCTV footage for our floor, it took 3 days for us to finally get somewhere with this.
Hotel manager is rude and walked off as we were speaking to him. The reception staff again is incompetent and does not seem to care about anything.
The switches are really strange as the sockets are connected to the lights in the room, everytime u want to charge your phone etc u have to keep the light on which is really really strange.
The only thing that was decent was the food. Breakfast and dinner items are always fresh and they change the dishes they make quite often . The tables are cleaned frequently and food gets replenished every time it finishes.

It was quite far from Haram, a good 15mins walk.
Bathroom had mould and coffee area had sugar and dust all over. When we request to clean the room, everything was still there.
Receptionist lady at the Restaurant upstairs on Thursday 23rd February 2023 during dinner time was so rude. She doesn’t have basic manners. I asked nicely if they can heat my kids food, instead of refusing nicely, she pointed me to the door in front of everyone. SO RUDE!

Absolutely awful..!! Worst hotel ever. Starting from reception service to room conditions, everything was way below standard. I can't believe they are rated as 5 star. Totally scammed!! Please don't waste your valuable money. Toilets are so dirty that we had to shift to another room but again no better! Overall, very very poor. Customer service was unacceptable. Also there is no WIFI connection only accessible in ground floor but no access in rooms, the food is quite acceptable Will never recommend this....

Room was not carpeted, sockets were not working or the socket was linked with the table lamp so you don't have option to keep your mobile on charge while you want to keep the table lamp off. Bathroom was not in good condition as most of the time water wasn't flowing out and was gathering in the Bathroom.

Room service was excellent guys were there every day offering to clean our room. Lifts are not too busy. The Guys in reception are not very helpful and can be better with their customer service attitude
It's a 10-minute straight walk to harm. No uphill or downhill. So was comfortable for kids to walk.
They have a separate floor for a restaurant which we didn't use. Floor for Parking and a floor for Prayer hall.

This is a very good hotel compared to the other hotels in the vicinity. It’s located in Ibrahim Al Khalil street, about 1 Km walk from the Haram (about 15-20 minutes walk depending on your speed). I have booked a quad room. It was spacious, clean and doesn’t smell. It had street view, from the 8th floor, beds and linen were clean, bathroom was well maintained and clean. The room is spacious enough for the needs, there is a kettle and facility to make coffee, and there is a small fridge.
Electronic card keys work fine with no issues. There is a small wardrobe / hanger for clothes. The single beds and mattresses are comfortable. I would give this room / hotel an overall rating of 8/10. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was almost seamless with no issues.
It did take few minutes longer to check in more than necessary, but compared to other hotels in the region and previous experiences, it was really good.

There is two hotel towers we were in tower A so I don't know about tower B. From the outside, lobby restaurant tower A was 4 star but the room was a little 3 star - no carpet and the bathroom was not as modern for 4 star rating. Also there was no WiFi connection in the room even though we were 4 floors up - only in the lobby could you get a better connection. Breakfast buffet was good.

Just came back from 2-week-long Umrah trip. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is very close to harram Nabawi. You can come back between the prayers and take a quick shower or nap if you need it. The rooms are very clean and the hotel constantly smells very pleasant. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I have to specifically mention about the morning shift of the restaurant and their amazing server Islam because they truly deserve to be mentioned and remembered. They go above and beyond to keep the customers happy and well fed. Thank you brothers for helping us during our stay and leaving with great memories!

Alhamdulillah very happy with our stay. Its our second time back at this hotel. I am currently staying at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We also have a nice partial Haram view, which is a bonus. The location is superb, with just a short 3-minute walk to the Haram. To top it off, we got a complimentary upgrade to a three-bedroom suite with a lounge and dining area, which was a pleasant surprise.
Thank you to all at Saja

The hotel and the service was very well. Nishu and Shareef ensured that the rooms were cleaned every day. They were respectful and would come as in when we needed and would not come into our rooms without our permission. Very respectful and very good service made our trip much easier as they would not touch or belongs but would also ensure the room was clean. Ensuring that advice and guidance was given at all times

We had a wonderful stay at this excellent hotel in Madina. The infrastructure is perfect, and the room was a decent size, equipped with all the necessary amenities. Housekeeping, reception, and room service were all top-notch. From the bellboy to the managers, every staff member displayed genuine hospitality.
The breakfast at the restaurant was another highlight of the stay. A special mention goes to the chef who was frying omelets — a humble gentleman full of energy, politeness, and respect. His cheerful attitude added a warm touch to our mornings.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madina!

Booked an ummrah with flywell with it being our first time, it was excellent with the hotels both in madinah and makkah being a 5 min walk to haram therefore it was very easy to go and pray. The food was amazing in the hotel and with very good services. We also had a ziyarat with the group for both locations and it was very good as we visited many historical places.
Shoukat Bhai was very helpful and nice who guided us to complete our ummrah and helped throughout the journey. May Allah accept all his kidmat and dua. Next time if I am to go for hajj or ummrah I would definitely book with him again.

If only 0 stars was an option. I had planned a trip and was assured all would be sorted for Saudi. We visited the shop 2 days prior to leaving to get our visas only to be told nothing was booked and no visas were sent. We had done our shopping and had prepared to leave even taking unpaid holiday from work. DO NOT USE under any circumstances. Allah forgive them.
Seeing as I can’t reply to your response read the following.
I’m glad someone was happy with your services, I don’t deem it appropriate at all when you know for a fact that we had asked you several times 2 weeks prior when we had first come to you when we are able to make payment and you had delayed this several times. Don’t lie and definitely don’t call me a liar. So no I didn’t forget to mention there was no need to mention it as we had insisted on making the payment but it was you who had delayed this. THE ONE WANTED TO PAY FOR THEIR BOOKING BUT THE BUSINESS SEEMS TO BE IRRESPONSIBLE AND ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE. Upon booking you had changed the booking multiple times when the agreed price was changed and hotels were not deemed appropriate for a child as it was far by. We saved more than £20 and I’m sure money isn’t a huge priority in your little small minded world but we work as honest people unlike yourself therefore for us even £20 helps a lot. Next time before writing lies and using gods name towards it think twice or come say it to my face if you have the guts. Try booking umrah for yourself so you can be forgiven. If you cant run an appropriate business it’s quite simple. JUST DONT. But don’t come at me because looking at your reviews clearly I’m not the only person who’s had an issue with you. You don’t need to come up with excuses just do better mate.

Booked Umrah with this travel agent.
Had problems with the hotel reservation in Madinah.
The travel agent did not respond to phone calls, WhatsApps or messages AT ALL (Still no apology). We were forced to vacate our rooms and this left us in a vulnerable position, extremely stressed and anxious.
EDIT: To respond to your reply, yes we did end up staying all 8 nights in the hotel. You did book it but what you failed to do (which you've admit fault to) was give us the corret reference number AND when contacted, you ignored us, leaving our whatsapp messages on read (hence why we said we had problems with the hotel and/or the booking not being available- atleast to us). WE had to do your job for you and sort out the correct reference numbers and this was all done AFTER we had vaccated the rooms in Madinah, left stressing in such a beautiful city wondering whether YOU had even booked the full 8 days. For your service and lack of contact and the stress we had gone through due to your mistake, you deserve 1 star. Furthermore, instead of calling us dishonest etc, why not appologise?
