The hotel is situated inside a street linking to Jarwal Bus Station. Overall, the expensive is impressive for a budget hotel. The rooms are small but very tidy. Amenities are also good enough.
Plus points:
1. A decent breakfast included
2. Calm and clean
3. Free parking
3. Budget friendly
Negatives:
1. Walk thru a road hike (difficult for some)
2. 10-15 mins walk to haram masjid premises
In a nutshell, it is certainly worth the price. Hope to visit it in future as well.

Internet does not work and when it does the speed is extremely slow.
Overall, it is a good budget hotel that is close to the haram and has a mall downstairs.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean, and all necessary amenities were provided. One of the highlights was the daily breakfast buffet served in a spacious dining hall with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.
The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to assist. The location is also very convenient, with food spots, money exchange bank, and markets just seconds away from the hotel. Additionally, there’s a shuttle bus to Al Haram every 20 minutes, which makes getting there easier.
The only downside is that you’ll still need to walk about 10-15 minutes to reach Al Haram, but honestly, walking is part of the experience regardless of where you stay.

Everything is good. Location is very good near Masjid e Nabvi. But washroom is not so clean. For room service they knocked the door while family was sleeping. We already said on counter that when we need we’ll call. But he knocked & tried to open the door with his card. That was ridiculous. Otherwise everything is well & fine.

Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend
I rarely write negative reviews, but our experience at Artal International Hotel in Medina was deeply disappointing and needs to be shared.
The overall condition of the hotel was shockingly poor. From the moment we entered, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority—the rooms were dusty, the bathrooms were dirty, and basic housekeeping seemed completely neglected. The fans didn’t work, and the air circulation in the rooms was awful, making the stay extremely uncomfortable, especially in the Medina heat.
To make matters worse, the staff were rude and unhelpful. Any request was met with indifference or outright attitude, and it felt like we were inconveniencing them just by asking for basic things that should have been provided in the first place.
It’s sad to say, but the hotel is in an unacceptable state, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. If you’re looking for a peaceful and clean stay in Medina, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

This hotel was a terrible experience. The rooms and restrooms were very dirty and not properly cleaned. Customer service was unprofessional – the staff had a hard time communicating in English and were often rude. Although the listing says there’s a restaurant, there isn’t one.
On top of that, I experienced racist behavior from some of the staff, which is completely unacceptable. There are many other hotels available at this price that offer much better service and cleanliness. I will never stay here again and I do not recommend it to anyone

We stayed at Artal international hotel, Madina between 13th to 20th April.
Ahmed, who was at the reception is a very helpful and courteous person.
The rooms are spacious, with hot water round the clock.
The location of hotel is good and walking distance, basically 2 lanes away from gate number 338 which is woman's prayer area.
There are many gift shops, and minimarkets, restaurants around, including MacDonald and starbucks.
There is a book stall DareZamann near gate 338.It has some good books on Islam, however Quran is expensive( which we did not buy).
The jaynamaz is costly in madina I think, I found Mecca cheaper ( however I may be wrong).
There is a wholesale market for dates and spices called Sabzi mandi.I would suggest this.It costs 15 riyals by taxi.
There is a Jarir book store near masjide qiblatain mosque. Bought some books ( though not the Quran, as it was expensive)
I think it is a good hotel for that price. Don't expect great service from the hotel, it's location is the usp for the price.
We had booked through tour, so food and laundry was included in package. There are many laundry shops nearby, for direct booking. They accept agoda and expedia.
Try bargaining for hop_in cabs and local shops, as first quote is higher.
Do visit Badr for ziyarat.A bus ride per person is 30 sar in a tour bus.it is 170 kms away, but totally worth it.
May Allah bless you and grant you your prayers.Inshallah and Ameen.
Do remember me in your prayers.

Very good location as it is close the main gate of the Masjid and has access to lots of food places.
Only issue with the hotel is the room service. We have been here for 7 nights now (looking to stay 9 nights) and have gotten our room cleaned only twice. The only reason I can think of why we might not be getting it cleaned often is due to not tipping the cleaners enough, or maybe it’s the hotel in general.
We have asked the people at the desk many times, the only thing they can do is promise they’ll clean it tomorrow.
However, would still recommend for those that are not too fussed about little bits of dirt in the bathroom and bedroom. Make sure to ask the cleaners you may see on the floor of the hotel for bath towels should they need changing.

The customer service is the worst. We entered the hotel yesterday and since then we have been asking to get the room changed because the bathroom is pathetic. The door was not opening from the inside, the sink is dripping water and the shower is also draining water out in the entire washroom. The toilet lid is broken. We have been trying to get the issues fixed but the service is pathetic. We are here to pray, not to spend all the time in fixing these issues. We cannot even make wuzu in the dirty washroom. The receptionist is not willing to change the room even when there is availability. The only good thing is the location which other hotels have too. this was an expensive hotel with the most pathetic experience. This is also a 3 bed room which is given to us as 4 bed room. Which makes it so congested that we can't even walk

Had a really amazing experience with Maqaam tours this year. This was my second time going to Umrah with Maqaam tours, my first time being in 2018. I had a really great time the first time that when booking Umrah again this year, I went straight to Maqaam. The pre-trip tasks went very smoothly - the brothers in charge handled all activities diligently and were very clear in their communication. When out there, the lead tour guide for our trip was Brother Juned - he was always punctual, clear and accommodating with any requests. The hotels that were booked were in a perfect location, and Juned showed a really good understanding of the area so you always felt in safe hands. Overall, I’d really recommend Maqaam to anyone planning on Umrah soon - they really do take the hassle around planning trips away from you so you can focus purely on the experience and worship of Allah.

I recently had an amazing experience with Maqaam Tours, and I can’t recommend them enough! From the very beginning, the booking process was super easy and hassle-free. The team was friendly and transparent with all the details, which I really appreciated.
Our tour guide in London was fantastic! They had so much knowledge about the city and its history, making every stop on the tour engaging and informative. It felt like we were getting the inside scoop on all the best spots!
The transport was always on time, which made everything flow smoothly. I loved that I didn’t have to worry about getting from place to place – we were taken care of throughout the entire trip.
The pricing for the package was incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of service we received. Overall, this trip was just wonderful! If you're looking for a great tour experience in London, definitely check out Maqaam Tours. You won't be disappointed!

I recently returned from an unforgettable Umrah trip with my extended family of 16, organized by Maqaam Tours, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, Maqaam Tours provided an exceptional experience that made our journey both smooth and spiritually enriching.
The organization was flawless. The hotels they arranged were not only of high quality but also conveniently located, which made getting to and from the Haram incredibly easy and stress-free. The transportation throughout the trip was equally impressive—always punctual, comfortable, and efficient. This is especially remarkable given the size of our group!
What truly set Maqaam Tours apart, however, was the dedication and patience of the brother Rajon and Hussain who managed our trip. Their depth of knowledge and experience was invaluable; they guided us with care and respect, answering all our questions and helping us make the most of our time in the holy cities. Their calm demeanor and commitment to ensuring a seamless experience made the entire journey much more meaningful for everyone.
If you’re considering an Umrah trip, I highly recommend going with Maqaam Tours. Their expertise and commitment to their travelers mean you can focus entirely on the spiritual aspects of your pilgrimage. Personally, I would choose them again over booking separately in a heartbeat!

Transport was amazing. Brothers had so much patience, knowledge and experience. I would highly recommend and would personally go with them again rather than book separately myself.

Had a wonderful Umrah experience with Maqaam Tours. The service was very friendly, the guide was extremely helpful and accommodating and was very knowledgeable about the local geography and the Umrah itself; he was always advising us on how best to make the most of our visit. The hotels we stayed at and the coaches used to travel between cities were excellent. We also had the opportunity to perform our Umrah twice!!
Highly recommended.
