We stayed two nights at the Conrad a few weeks ago and overall it was an okay stay. I had a wonderful experience at the breakfast buffet, all the workers at the breakfast buffet, and the housekeeping team. We loved our room, which was so clean and comfortable. However, there were a couple negative issues that made the trip less than enjoyable. My issues are with the check-in process and also with communication. Before I arrived at the hotel, I was charged for one of two nights. When I got to the hotel, I expected to be charged only for the remaining night. However, the check-in agent charged me for the full booking. He assured me that I would get my refund from finance within 5 days for the first charge. It’s been over 3 weeks and I haven’t gotten my money back. I’ve sent 4 emails over the last few weeks, but no one has answered me. It is a large refund (almost $200) and it is extremely upsetting that they are ignoring me. If these issues hadn’t happened, it would’ve been an amazing 5-star stay! Unfortunately, they kind of ruined the trip and this hotel for us. Read less

The staff at breakfast make this possible by catering to our every whim, from the manager Thayob to Ahmad Ungklang who was our server.....they made sure all our needs were met and more. My father and I had a mixed bag of experiences at this hotel but ended up happy with the stay. When we arrived at the location we were told that there were no rooms at the upper floors. We were given a third floor room that hadn't properly been cleaned. We were then offered a room of the same size on the eighth floor... So obviously they didn't offer the best room to us in the first place. Another problem was that after extending for one day the hotel repeatedly called us insisting that we hadn't paid. It turned out it was a fault in their system. Finally, despite making booking for 2 people, the hotel said only one person could attend breakfast. How, in a room for 2, can you say only one person could attend breakfast? Now, despite all these problems the hotel staff did provide quick solutions and were courteous and apologetic. On the final day the hotel manager called us personally and went above and beyond in apologizing and providing us with ample time to check out. The room itself was not particularly stellar. The beds were fine and I appreciated the complimentary fruits, sweets, water and utilities like iron table, prayer rug, and so on. The bathroom could be better as I really don't like open showers. The roof floor restaurant and the staff working there are excellent. The best thing about this hotel is obviously the location. You can't beat it. Read less

My family and I found the beds in the twin room in the executive suite were extremely soft. I literally was in pain sleeping in that bed. 😞 We found writing and scrabbles on the lamp in the living room, marks and scratches on the wall. More work needs to go into this hotel. We were brought to the dirtiest room ever. Dust everywhere. The coffee machine promised was not there. We are 4 adults yet the amenities were for a single person. Despite calling for water and amenities for hours, they ARE NOT RESPONDING! I AM HERE RIGHT NOW and even after complaining to their so called managers, none of them leading me to the real one, they are just making empty promises and doing nothing Please everyone, prefer a 1 star over this one. Trust me you would get better service and cleanliness there for the best price. I am literally being humiliated here for paying such a large amount of money. I have rated this hotel five stars based on earlier experience as I was impressed by the hotel service and the kindness of the staff, in addition to the newness of the hotel and its great location. However, based on my new experience I have taken two stars as it did not meet my expectations this time. The rooms’ furniture deteriorated, and so is the service especially from the reception. We asked for a room upgrade, and were told that no rooms were available although it was obvious that this was not the case, and rooms were available on the Booking. I had to speak to the shift manager to get the room upgrade. The breakfast arrived cold and did not meet the request. The laundry services are very expensive even by hotels’ standard. I am keeping the three stars for two reasons: - the swift response from the shift manager and his kindness in changing the room in a very short time. - the kindness of the housekeeping staff, especially, Suhail Rana.
