They dont allow to eat in other sections. And the Pakistani food is so spicy with same sort of food everyday. I had full board meal plan and literally got sour throat in just 3 days. The booking was for 8 days. Won't recommend anyone to book this hotel with food plan. Worst food discrimination and same spicy food everyday. It has been a smooth experience with Anjum hotel. For me it’s the first time however my brother are regulars during the last 10 days of holy month Ramadan. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the booking however when we explained the matter the hotel staff were very considerate and understanding. I personally appreciate the housekeeping team Ma’amon, Mukhtar and their supervisor Kazi. They are very attentive, hard workers and friendly. Surely this hotel we will consider in our next visit. I am writing this review while I am at the hotel right now location is near the haram but you will walk a little bit to reach it as the doors are nearly 1 km away walking may be more but it may be the worst food I have had in any hotel I stayed in before. It is not about the variety it is about the quality of food even the bread you feel it is backed since a couple of days and the croissants is made of the same bread material Room service the worst thing in this hotel you must ask and call them a lot of times in order to have your request done even I asked the guy to pick the trash and left it for him outdoor and he was there doing another room but he left without picking it and you keep asking for new towels or any other default amenities you need The safe box is not working and they changed it 2 times till now and it is still not working Other Hotel facilities are good and the reception guys are helpful but they are the only ones here It is my 1st time in this hotel and it will be my last one for sure Read less

If you have confirmed your stay earlier they will treat you like goons. The worst side of the hotel is the location. You have to literally ride a 20 meter high road on the way back to hotel from haram. And trust me you would rather prefer walking 300 meters in the sun than this 100 meter steep road. After all of that we entered the room that was extremely dirty nuts on the carpet, dust on tables and tissues on the carpet. One of the toilets smelled so bad as if it wasn’t cleaned. Beds are not comfortable at all. No slippers in the room. No bath robe for shower. There is a Nespresso machine with no capsules; if you don’t want to add capsules remove the machine. The fridge was empty, 3 or 4 water bottles were in the room. When I book a Junior suite at a 5 star hotel, I would expect more!! Read less

They were harassed by room service staff, their doors were knocked for no reasons other than to speak to them my complaints were not taken seriously , as a Brit I feel disappointed that I felt unsafe in such a holy land because of the staff in this hotel. I wanted the police involved but all I got was a sloppy excuse and a text message from allegedly HQ tht the room service staff member wld be moved to another floor !! My point was tht he and other staff kept knocking on my single daughters door and asking irrelevant questions I also saw him enter another female guest room who seemed anxious upon asking her as she was also British and she told me she did not ask him or want him in her room but he seemed to enter .The chef was. sleaze , I watched him looking at young girls in a very inappropriate way when he thought no one looking . This is when I alerted reception for the 3rd time but still police were not called . If anyone as self respect for their women folk do not use this hotel . I wld rather pay more and go upon reccomadation anywhere close by as the location was perfect . Read less

I was told the cancellation was done by the head office, whereas I got an email notification later saying I had cancelled the booking. I was not given the opportunity to talk to any management staff. Pillows were not great, bathroom tap was letting out hardly any water, had to ring housekeeping multiple times to clean rooms and again asking for new towels after not being given them after the cleaning. Bad lighting in the rooms, all they had was small lamps. Key cards kept disconnecting and not working for the rooms had to go to reception 3 times on different days because of this. Read less
