Breakfast at the Zamzam Buffet was a highlight of my stay. The variety of dishes was impressive, and the service from the waitstaff was excellent. The dining area was spotless, and the team maintained a high level of hygiene while being friendly and welcoming throughout. The lobby was a bit crowded at times, but it’s understandable given the hotel’s prime location and popularity. However, the complimentary station of snacks and drinks in the lobby was a fantastic touch. A big thanks to the chef and the team for this thoughtful gesture. it truly enhanced the experience. Here's a review about my stay at the Ajyad Makareem Makkah hotel: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ajyad Makareem Makkah hotel, and I must say it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. The hotel's location is superb, with only a 5-minute walk to the Masjid al-Haram gate, making it extremely convenient for performing Umrah. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly Rofiq ,Tofazzul, and Saiful Islam , the housekeeping staff member, who stood out for his exceptional warmth and hospitality. I truly appreciated the service provided by Rofiq and the rest of the staff. The hotel rooms were also spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere during my stay. The facilities provided were comprehensive and adequate. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Ajyad Makareem Makkah hotel and hope to have the opportunity to stay again on my next Umrah journey. The rooms are old, the common areas aren’t very clean, and the reception is chaotic—I waited almost an hour for my room. There’s no parking, the bathrooms smell bad when using water. At breakfast, flies are all around you while eating. For the high price, I deeply regret not choosing the Hyatt Regency next door, which looked much better for a similar rate. However, I would like to suggest that the management provide more staff to assist with luggage during check-in and check-out. When I checked out, I requested assistance three times, but unfortunately, no one came to help. This was quite inconvenient, especially for guests with heavy luggage. I booked last minute in this hotel for 2 nights and I really enjoyed my stay, place is very clean, room spacious, quite, staff so friendly and helpful, they called to make sure i am happy and asked me if there is anything i need to make me more comfortable 😍, also the place is not far from Haram only 900m which is really great specially when the weather is nice, i was lucky it was very nice cool weather at night. A very disappointing experience, in terms of looks and feel the hotel is nice. The lobby always smells nice when entering and there are several lifts to get you to the required floor. The biggest disappointment has been the actual rooms, the electricity has been deliberately wired in a way to make it hard for people to sleep or charge their devices. This means in order to have power to the sockets and charge your devices, you will need to keep the rooms lights on, obviously this makes it so uncomfortable after a long day in the masjid, you just want to come back and relax with just one lamp on and devices on charge to communicate with your loved ones. We also had several issues with our bathroom, with clogged shower & sink drain, and toilet flushing issues. To top it off we had some water leak in the bathroom from the roof, this had me worried as I did not know if this water is clean or not, and could it get mixed electrical wiring and cause a fire. This is clearly not a 5 star hotel more like a 3/4 star. The hotel chain should be ashamed of making things difficult for the guests of Allah, instead of making things easier. Electrical charging points should be a standard feature in any hotel chain, never mind one that classes itself as 5 star. The beds are smaller than expected, especially when compared to the single beds we had at Pullman Zam Zam Makkah. The location is great as it is only 3-4 mins to get to the masjid and is ideal for ladies as it closer to their entry points by gate 339. Unfortunately I would NOT use this hotel again, purely because of the deliberate inconvenience it has caused with its intentional electrical wiring design. Read less

The location was great, you cross the road and the woman’s gate is right there which was super convenient. Plenty of shops around for food/shopping. Breakfast was okay, could be better in terms of variety but not that bad. The hotel is easily accessible for uber which made travelling further out convenient. The staff were lovely and helpful.
