I think this hotel staff went above and beyond during our stay. We were here for about six or seven days during Ramadan 2025, and everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were always clean, and the staff on our floor were consistently professional and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and often checked in to see if we required any assistance.
The staff at the lobby were also extremely helpful and kind. One of the highlights of our stay was the iftar and suhoor meal that were included as buffet. It made our lives so much easier, and the food was genuinely delicious. We didn’t have to go out looking for iftar or suhoor spots. Tariq and Hamza working at the buffet were always very helpful. I can’t thank you guys enough for making us feel so comfortable. I can’t wait to come back with my family and stay here inshallah. Most important part is that Le Méridien made our stay during Umrah a very pleasant experience.
This is very close to clock tower and walk to Masjid al haram is only 5/max 10 minute because of the crowd. I highly recommend this place. I myself will be staying here when I come back inshallah.

The room is great, but bathroom needs more renovations with the smell
The service is excellent, love the friendliness and very helpful with any needs! Smiles all around!
Distance is best! Less than 5 mins walk to the Haram. Will stay here again.

I heard that some booked rooms were reassigned to a different hotel, which is highly unprofessional and very disappointing.
Additionally, there were several issues with the service that made the experience uncomfortable:
1. Inappropriate behavior from waiters – Three waiters were excessively flirty. While I was dining with my little sister, they catcalled us, exchanged glances, and laughed among themselves. I expected this city to be a place of joy and peace, but this behavior was far from it.
2. Rude waitress – My little sister was eating and had paused to talk to our parents, but before she could finish, the waitress took her plate without asking if she was done. There was no courtesy, no confirmation—just an assumption that the food was finished. What’s worse, there was still food on the plate, which ended up being wasted because it was thrown away without any confirmation. This lack of basic service etiquette is truly disappointing.
3. Unprofessional cleaning service – While I was in my hotel room with my grandmother, a male staff member rang the bell for cleaning. I told him everything was fine and no service was needed, yet he stood there, smiling and staring at my grandmother without moving until I closed the door. My grandmother and I was scared. Then, on the day of checkout, I was already in a rush when he entered the room while I hadn’t put on my hijab. As I hurried to the elevator, he raised his voice to joke—at a completely unnecessary time when I was clearly in a hurry.
This level of service and professionalism is unacceptable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to ensure a better experience for future guests.

After reading many negative reviews, I was skeptical of staying here. But I was so glad that I did stay here for the reasons below:
1. Much more affordable than other options.
2. Very close to the Haram. 5 to 10 minutes walk depending on the crowd.
3. Clean room.
4. Prayer room option.
5. Good food.
7. Great customer service from everyone.
Even though I was there from 24 to 26 of Ramadan, which means extremely crowded.... the staff was very helpful and polite. I am definitely going to stay here again.

The hotel is nearby Haram (5 min walking) but the rooms, beds, bathrooms, appliances, toiletries, hardwares, furniture and fixtures etc. are neither good nor does it satisfy the amount paid. The beds were very uncomfortable and the lights were kind of dim. The charging sockets were very few in number and I had to use the extension plug for the extra sockets. The rooms are very congested as the floor runs short. However the room service guys are good and genuine to help moreover the stay was also good because the city itself is a place of peace.

The restaurant on the top floor is very good. Especially the cook who makes fresh omelettes in the morning and prepares hot pasta for dinner and lunch.

Great location. Haram is only a few hundred meters walk from the hotel. I was taking my mom in the wheelchair easily. Comfortable beds and clean rooms.
The reception staff needs some training. When I was checking out from the hotel, my mom was thirsty and asked the receptionist if she can have some drinking water. The receptionist rudely replied they do not have water, you better get it from outside. And the fact of the matter is we left some water in our room when we checked out. Our whole good experience turned bitter, and we decided not to consider Le Meridien ever for our stays

The food I would give a 4/10...the breakfast menu were on repeat everyday which honestly bore us, thus we'd prefer having breakfast outside. Lunch and dinner were 6/10... bearable to eat but again very little of vegetable, except on the last day!
Room service was 8/10...the staffs were hospitable and always asked permission before entering to clean our room.
Traffic wise, since it is located by the roadside, it is 24-7 busy with passerbys and guests that checked in and out.

Nice view, very clean and good rooms also the washroom well maintained with all the required amenities just that the room doesn’t have the ceiling lights and has only lamps. Reception staff are active and prompt in helping and some of the room service staff too. Wasn’t satisfied with the buffet but Alhamdulillah the purpose was done as Haram is just at 5 minutes walk away.

Rooms were clean and Masjid Al Nabawi was very close only 5 min walk. However, the room was very noisy because the window wasn't sound proof and there was a loud fan outside which kept me awake on the first night in the hotel as I couldn't sleep. I went downstairs to ask for help with the issue but the staff were very rude in their response and did not do anything useful. The noise stayed.

Awful customer service , not safe for women as a mother I was reassured by reception/ manager my young daughters single would be safe on a different floor. They were harassed by room service staff, their doors were knocked for no reasons other than to speak to them my complaints were not taken seriously , as a Brit I feel disappointed that I felt unsafe in such a holy land because of the staff in this hotel. I wanted the police involved but all I got was a sloppy excuse and a text message from allegedly HQ tht the room service staff member wld be moved to another floor !! My point was tht he and other staff kept knocking on my single daughters door and asking irrelevant questions I also saw him enter another female guest room who seemed anxious upon asking her as she was also British and she told me she did not ask him or want him in her room but he seemed to enter .The chef was. sleaze , I watched him looking at young girls in a very inappropriate way when he thought no one looking . This is when I alerted reception for the 3rd time but still police were not called . If anyone as self respect for their women folk do not use this hotel . I wld rather pay more and go upon reccomadation anywhere close by as the location was perfect .

NEVER BOOK HERE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
They cancelled my booking less than 24 hrs of my expected arrival. I walked into the premises with my two kids to be told that my booking was cancelled. I was told the cancellation was done by the head office, whereas I got an email notification later saying I had cancelled the booking. I was not given the opportunity to talk to any management staff.
At the premises, the only help offered was to visit the hotels in the vicinity by foot or search availability online.
Unprofessional staff and management. Liars and inconsiderate management

The rooms and the hotel were beautiful. I loved them. I got a deal with breakfast included. But it was not up to the mark. I was expecting much more from a hotel named 'Emaar'. But, I didn't like breakfast one bit. Similarly, the dinner buffet was a rip off. They charged 80 SAR for the buffet. But the buffet did not give any value.

Location is perfect and close to Masjid Nabwi, checking in was easy and fast, big spacious rooms. Pillows were not great, bathroom tap was letting out hardly any water, had to ring housekeeping multiple times to clean rooms and again asking for new towels after not being given them after the cleaning. Bad lighting in the rooms, all they had was small lamps. Key cards kept disconnecting and not working for the rooms had to go to reception 3 times on different days because of this.

Skip some of the ziyaarah’s, the brother was so flexible and accommodating…. Always at hand if ever needed him for anything! Before we left i found his vids on the little things like plugs amd sockets and money exchange tips really handy! These are details that are small yet significant so he covered it all for us just so that we dont forget! Once there, he provided us with trusted places to shop, exchange money etc and some other visits we did too that were humbling!! You cannot get this when travelling alone! Brother went out of his way to make the stay as comfrtble as possible not just for adults but the kids too! And the trolley for the luggage at the end of to the trip was icing on the cake! Jzk for an unforgettable experience… i am already planning my next trip! ❤️

This was my first time travelling to Al Aqsa and with Zaarvel, I have been to many destinations and this was by far one of the best trips. From the very beginning brother Numayar looked after us and stayed with us until we got through the checkpoints at Tel Aviv. We were understandably very nervous but we soon realised we really had nothing to worry about. Everything was organsied perfectly from the transport to hotel to the very educational tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and have already recommended to others. We would definitely travel with Zaarvel again.

Zaarvel Team had made this a memorable experience for me and my family.
In our group there were between 50/55 people from London, Leicester, Manchester, Dubai, etc.
Before we travel, Zaarvel make it clear what is needed and essentials for trip. We have video conference for any questions that you may have, very in depth.
This is my 2nd time at Al Aqsa and can't get enough. What amazing trip, very well organised and packed everyday with things to do. Day 1, walking around Al Aqsa Compound and learning the history by experienced tour guild. Day 2 visiting locals or doing walking tour outside the compound. Day 3 coach trip from 8am to 9pm, visiting famous Ibrahim Mosjid and Musa Mosjid, Banksy Museum, Jericho, Mount of Olives, etc. Day 4 Jummah and shopping, Day 5 return. Action packed.
When visiting Al Aqsa alot of Sabr patience is needed. At airport any foreigner they will keep few hours and may question what your visit is about.
Insha'Allah I will be going again and again.

Visiting Al-Aqsa was honestly one of the most emotional and spiritual things I’ve ever experienced. From praying in the blessed compound to the amazing excursions organised by Zaarvel, every part of the trip reminded me how powerful and deep our history is as Muslims.
The itinerary was so well thought out — I loved how the guides mixed in historical facts with spiritual lessons, whether we were at the Mount of Olives, Masjid Umar, or visiting the tombs of the Prophets. Praying in those places was something else… it really hit the heart.
Alhamdulillah, my group was also amazing — supportive, kind, and filled with beautiful souls that made the journey even more special.
This trip wasn’t just sightseeing — it was healing. I left with a heart that honestly just wants to return again, inshaAllah.
May Allah let us all visit Masjid Al-Aqsa, protect its people, and keep our hearts connected to it. Ameen.

I recently had the honour of going on a Zaarvel tour to Palestine and honestly, it was one of the most eye opening and emotional experiences of my life. From the moment we landed to the moment we left, everything was organised with so much care and thought. The whole trip ran smoothly, the tour guides were brilliant, and you could tell they were genuinely passionate about sharing the truth and history of Palestine.
This trip really changed me. Before coming, I never took the boycott seriously. I’d hear about it now and then, but I would just brush it off thinking it doesn’t really matter. But after seeing the reality with my own eyes, even just the small day to day struggles the Palestinians go through, I realised how important it actually is. What we saw was only a tiny part of what they deal with every single day. It broke my heart and it opened my eyes. From now on, In Sha Allah, I will do my part and take the boycott seriously.
What Zaarvel offered was more than just a tour. It was a journey that touched the heart and soul. Every stop, every moment, felt like it had real purpose. It was clear that the team behind this trip put in a lot of effort and that they truly care about the cause.
I’m honestly so grateful I got the chance to be part of it. This wasn’t just about seeing places. It was about learning, reflecting and understanding the deeper truth. I would 100 percent recommend Zaarvel to anyone who wants a real, honest and powerful experience in Palestine. May Allah SWT reward the whole team for everything they’ve done.

Excellent communication and guidance pre and during the tour by Numayar who made the whole journey seamless. Zaarvel arranged excellent local guides from Jerusalem and their knowledge was outstanding providing great depth to the tours.
Everyone should try to visit Palestine if they have the opportunity and show solidarity and support to the people of Al Quds.

I’ve been on group tours but going with Zaarvel was a cut above the rest for sure!
From the booking process to returning from the Al Aqsa trip, the service was undeniable.
They were swift in all responses and queries and put any worries to bed. The entire time we were treated like guests with all our needs catered to. Even if something was not on the itinerary but we were interested to go there or do something, it was arranged for the ones who wanted to go.
Zaarvel team knew everyone on the ground and are well connected on the other side so you feel completely at ease knowing you’re in safe hands. We were treated like guests, friends and family. Through their genuineness and sincerity, they created an unforgettable trip of a lifetime.
Thanks and best wishes for a successful future!
