Loved our visit to makkah. Stayed in emaar grand hotel. Group of 9. Everything was good. Just needed some toilet tiles work. The rest is 5*.
Would visit again.

I recently stayed at the Emaar Grand Hotel in Mecca, booking a room advertised for five people. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially larger groups.
The room itself was incredibly tight for five beds. We were practically on top of each other, and there was barely any space to move around or store our belongings comfortably. This lack of space made our stay very uncomfortable and frankly, quite stressful.
Beyond the cramped quarters, the room service was also severely lacking. On multiple occasions, we tried to contact room service, but the phone simply went unanswered. This made it impossible to request basic necessities or address any issues we had.
Considering the high price we paid for this hotel, the level of service and the size of the room were completely unacceptable. It felt like we were significantly overcharged for a very poor experience.
If you are planning a trip to Mecca and require accommodation for more than a couple of people, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The Emaar Grand Hotel's cramped rooms and unreliable service are not worth the money or the frustration. Save yourself the disappointment and book a different hotel.

The only nice thing about the hotel is its interior. The hotel facilities were rubbish. The shower cubicle wouldn’t close properly and the water would wet the whole floor in the bathroom. The hair dryer in the bathroom has such low power that it will take you an hour to dry your long hair with it. The bathroom plumbing was horrific, whenever you run water you can smell of the gutter. The room ventilation system seems like it hasn’t been cleaned in years and would definitely make you sick!
The place just looks fancy from the interior used but has little to no facilities available. Breakfast was super bland and basic. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

Breakfast was good as we had breakfast included in our booking
I'll consider other options (distance from Haram and room service), before booking it again.

I am currently staying here and as I am writing this review i’m waiting for maintenance to come because my room power keeps stopping. We have only been here for two days tonight being the third and i am just honestly so ready to go home, which is upsetting.
1) the rooms are decent sized, as far as i know. our room was for three people so there were three beds. Very standard. However, the windows are broken and you can hear EVERYTHING outside.
2) the toilet smells and is always 24/7 hot. It’s very tight and cramped. and once again like every other review we were only given two towels despite being three people. Normally hotels i’ve been to you get at least two towels per person the second one being a smaller towel??!
3) THE LIFTS. If you want clarity and a peace of mind please don’t even consider booking here! There are so many lifts but there are WAYY MORE people. You can wait for the lift for almost 1 HOUR
4) Lastly the distance. It’s not worth your money it’s a long walk and isn’t “5 minutes”!
All in all i definitely will not be staying here the only bonus points is the staff excluding reception!

The location is about 7-8 mkns walks from the entrance of haram gate 79 .
The hotel itself looks very presentable but rooms are very dated and need refurbishment. Frontbif house need better Customer service skills especially the lady at reception who when posed with a problem seems to uses gestures and arrogance as her way to deal with issues.
The gentlemen and the service guys are very helpful and pleasant.
Having stayed for a few days with several problems and then room changes this seemed to be common as many other guests had the same issue and same broken promises. For a hotel with ample rooms it seemed like they just couldn't be bothered.
Broken telephones broken lights , lack of facilities and 1 iron to use amongst the hundreds of rooms and you won't get one for 3 days and even then you only can use for 1 hr, constant trips to reception but all broken false promises.
The good things about the place is it is value for money and you could see that once upon a time it was 5 star but now pushing 3 stars. The location is on Ibrahim al khalil St with plenty of food and shopping available nearby.

Alhamdulillah We arrived on the 24th July 2023 from Malaysia. The lady reception is really nice and polite. She makes the check in process really straight foward and fast for me and my father. May Allah ease her life. The breakfast is good. The hotel is around 10-12 minutes to Haram. Room is big and toilet is clean.Aircond is superb. Wifi also very fast. Im grateful to found this hotel even is not like the nearest or higher star to masjid..
Its still a good and clean room. Also theres a lot of shop/food along the way to hotel from masjid. So you wont be feel like walking far. InsyaAllah will come back.

To be honest when I read the reviews of this hotel I had a different image in my head. But my stay proved the reviews wrong. It was a lovely hotel. House keeping were 5 âï¸. Always helpful, gave everything i needed. Cleaned the room when I asked. Like I said housekeeping were just GREAT. The location of the hotel was in the BEST place. Everything in my convenience and the best thing was that it was just a 10min walk to haram shareef. I will give it 5/5

Terrible service and hotel management.
Booked a 4 persons room, it was terrible as the beds were laid out in a very awkward position that left no other space in the hotel room, we barely had enough space to open our suitcases.
The hotel management in general is poor, they don't clean the rooms properly. Everytime we ask for water bottles they either only give 2 or don't give any. We had a minor incident where we needed to check the CCTV footage for our floor, it took 3 days for us to finally get somewhere with this.
Hotel manager is rude and walked off as we were speaking to him. The reception staff again is incompetent and does not seem to care about anything.
The switches are really strange as the sockets are connected to the lights in the room, everytime u want to charge your phone etc u have to keep the light on which is really really strange.
The only thing that was decent was the food. Breakfast and dinner items are always fresh and they change the dishes they make quite often . The tables are cleaned frequently and food gets replenished every time it finishes.

Bathroom had mould and coffee area had sugar and dust all over. When we request to clean the room, everything was still there.
Receptionist lady at the Restaurant upstairs on Thursday 23rd February 2023 during dinner time was so rude. She doesn’t have basic manners. I asked nicely if they can heat my kids food, instead of refusing nicely, she pointed me to the door in front of everyone. SO RUDE!

Please don't waste your valuable money. Toilets are so dirty that we had to shift to another room but again no better! Overall, very very poor. Customer service was unacceptable. Also there is no WIFI connection only accessible in ground floor but no access in rooms, the food is quite acceptable Will never recommend this....

Room was not carpeted, sockets were not working or the socket was linked with the table lamp so you don't have option to keep your mobile on charge while you want to keep the table lamp off. Bathroom was not in good condition as most of the time water wasn't flowing out and was gathering in the Bathroom.

It's a 10-minute straight walk to harm. No uphill or downhill. So was comfortable for kids to walk.
They have a separate floor for a restaurant which we didn't use. Floor for Parking and a floor for Prayer hall.

This is a very good hotel compared to the other hotels in the vicinity. It’s located in Ibrahim Al Khalil street, about 1 Km walk from the Haram (about 15-20 minutes walk depending on your speed). I have booked a quad room. It was spacious, clean and doesn’t smell. It had street view, from the 8th floor, beds and linen were clean, bathroom was well maintained and clean. The room is spacious enough for the needs, there is a kettle and facility to make coffee, and there is a small fridge.
Electronic card keys work fine with no issues. There is a small wardrobe / hanger for clothes. The single beds and mattresses are comfortable. I would give this room / hotel an overall rating of 8/10. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was almost seamless with no issues.
It did take few minutes longer to check in more than necessary, but compared to other hotels in the region and previous experiences, it was really good.

There is two hotel towers we were in tower A so I don't know about tower B. From the outside, lobby restaurant tower A was 4 star but the room was a little 3 star - no carpet and the bathroom was not as modern for 4 star rating. Also there was no WiFi connection in the room even though we were 4 floors up - only in the lobby could you get a better connection. Breakfast buffet was good.

Got the room booked through booking.com. It’s mentioned in details that it had free parking. Once I reached hotel the watchman guided for the parking out side the hotel selecting as reserved parking but after 2 hrs I got penalty for wrong parking from traffic police. Once I told receptionist about the incident… his reply was “we are not responsible for what the watchman says because they are from some other company”. Totally disrespectful hotel receptionist…. Dnt trust them…. They dnt have reserved booking. I had to forcefully park my car about 1.5km away in a nearby parking zone

Rooms were mostly clean however better hygiene is to be maintained in the bathroom / shower area. Anemities like working water cattle with tea bags and whitener should be present without calling room service.
If the room rate is lowered by around 20% stay at this outlet becomes a good bargain

Overall, my stay was disappointing. The parking situation was frustrating, with no designated spaces and too much congestion. The toilets lacked exhaust ventilation, leading to an unpleasant smell in both the washrooms and rooms. Additionally, there was no support when I called at reception especially at night – it felt like no one cared to assist. The reception staff were rude and unwelcoming, and I was not allowed to explore all the breakfast options, which felt like a lack of hospitality. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t rate this hotel as a 4-star. The lack of customer care and the overall condition of the place were major letdowns.

If there is 0 stars reveiw, I would gladly give it. After checking in, we stayed without hot water for 7 hours. 2 technicians came to the room and eventually said they can't fix it today wait till the morning! I had to go into 3 different rooms with room service guy to check personally that the room has hot water!

Worst place possible, Everything more or less. Absolutely worse, smelling entrance, reception to begin leads to damaged elevators. This is just a location that you pay for, and you can get a hundred times better hotels and facilities elsewhere.
Begin with the room, was given a birdcage apparently for triple room. They didn't even bother to take our the 3rd bed and instead tuck it under our bed which had it pointed out and would hit your leg everytime. Requested to take it out but was ignored.
The washroom is possibly worse, the shower head was broken so the water would randomly flow, the toilet bidet head didn't work 4/5 times u press it.. the sinks are completely damaged.
My wife got hurt on her head in the sink and we called the reception and requesting for first aid kit and they simply replied, they didn't have it and couldn't bother anything else, I had to take her to the nearby hospital.
I've stayed in a better 2* hotel than this filthy place that they charge abhorrent amount. We stayed for 3 nights with 3 rooms.. we didn't have a choice and tried to ignore it mostly because we were out of the hotel most of the time, busy in our prayers.
Will never recommend unless you have no other choice.

We had two rooms booked, we requested a double bed as we have a infant but they didn’t accommodate for this.
Rooms were cramped with just the beds and side table. Bathroom was small and in need of renovation.
Rooms had a smell of glue used in furniture.
The wardrobes doors won’t slide. Our room had a kettle but only socket to put it was either on the floor or by removing our lamp switch. We couldn’t use either due to infant, complained then changed rooms so we could use a kettle.
One of the socket was faulty, when we plugged in it started causing short circuit.
Rooms were not clean ! Cups were dirty! Dust everywhere !
Asked housekeeping to clean the next day and after several requests a guy came and asked what needed to be done ! It was utterly poor service. They folded dirty used towels that were on the floor and put them back on the counter. We knew this as they had blood in them.
Because of them we almost missed our flight. It took them 40 minutes with 4 calls and 2 visits to reception to get our luggage down from 2 rooms.
It was a very unpleasant stay, would NOT recommend this hotel. There are plenty of hotels next to this which are similarly priced or even better with better standards.
Only positive was the location and the guy who helped us move rooms. Caused a lot of tension to our trip.

From the outset the support from admins Sajid and guidance from Qari Makki was excellent, you really feel at ease with the communication that they give you, always on hand to answer any questions or remedy any issues that come up whether it’s a visa or delay getting somewhere, the brothers always have a plan and back up plan.

My name is Sajida and this was my 3rd umrah, SubhanAllah it was the far best umrah,
In the past when we did umrah just by ourselves with families, yes it was slightly cheaper but very very stressful. This time when I went on my 3rd umrah November 2021 I was able to compare a great difference of travelling by yourself or with Tazkiya Tours, we had English speaking sheiks with a vast knowledge of Islam, SubhanAllah.
Alhumdillah we had 5 star service throughout.
five star hotel in madina called zam zam and 5 star Hotel in makkah called Conrad and both hotels were literally 2 mins walk away from the Haram, which was a blessing as the swollen ankles and blistered feet couldn't have walked further.
Tazkiya Tour staff where the best and were there for our every need, Guided us step by step all the while explaining in detail the history and importance behind all the places we visited, They also did extra activities for the younger generation with only one goal in mind and that was for them to get get closer to Allah SWT which actually puts Tazkiya Tours apart from the rest of the Travel agencies, and if you have younger children and you want them to get closer to their deen then this is if not one of the best company to go with.
They made sure all our needs were taken care of, inn shaa Allah will be taking my children to do umrah with Tazkiya tours in the near future.

I booked Tazkiyah tours for my trip to masjid Al Aqsa and had a good experience from start to finish. They supported us through and took care of our needs throughout the holiday including the airport security at landing and departure from Tel Aviv. The hotel was comfortable and the buffet food provided for breakfast and dinner was good. Overall the trip was good value and the masjid is well worth a visit for everyone. I learnt a lot on my visit thanks to all the talks and sights visited during the trip.
