Loved our visit to makkah. Stayed in emaar grand hotel. Group of 9. Everything was good. Just needed some toilet tiles work. The rest is 5*.
Would visit again.

I recently stayed at the Emaar Grand Hotel in Mecca, booking a room advertised for five people. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially larger groups.
The room itself was incredibly tight for five beds. We were practically on top of each other, and there was barely any space to move around or store our belongings comfortably. This lack of space made our stay very uncomfortable and frankly, quite stressful.
Beyond the cramped quarters, the room service was also severely lacking. On multiple occasions, we tried to contact room service, but the phone simply went unanswered. This made it impossible to request basic necessities or address any issues we had.
Considering the high price we paid for this hotel, the level of service and the size of the room were completely unacceptable. It felt like we were significantly overcharged for a very poor experience.
If you are planning a trip to Mecca and require accommodation for more than a couple of people, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The Emaar Grand Hotel's cramped rooms and unreliable service are not worth the money or the frustration. Save yourself the disappointment and book a different hotel.

The only nice thing about the hotel is its interior. The hotel facilities were rubbish. The shower cubicle wouldn’t close properly and the water would wet the whole floor in the bathroom. The hair dryer in the bathroom has such low power that it will take you an hour to dry your long hair with it. The bathroom plumbing was horrific, whenever you run water you can smell of the gutter. The room ventilation system seems like it hasn’t been cleaned in years and would definitely make you sick!
The place just looks fancy from the interior used but has little to no facilities available. Breakfast was super bland and basic. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

Breakfast was good as we had breakfast included in our booking
I'll consider other options (distance from Haram and room service), before booking it again.

I am currently staying here and as I am writing this review i’m waiting for maintenance to come because my room power keeps stopping. We have only been here for two days tonight being the third and i am just honestly so ready to go home, which is upsetting.
1) the rooms are decent sized, as far as i know. our room was for three people so there were three beds. Very standard. However, the windows are broken and you can hear EVERYTHING outside.
2) the toilet smells and is always 24/7 hot. It’s very tight and cramped. and once again like every other review we were only given two towels despite being three people. Normally hotels i’ve been to you get at least two towels per person the second one being a smaller towel??!
3) THE LIFTS. If you want clarity and a peace of mind please don’t even consider booking here! There are so many lifts but there are WAYY MORE people. You can wait for the lift for almost 1 HOUR
4) Lastly the distance. It’s not worth your money it’s a long walk and isn’t “5 minutes”!
All in all i definitely will not be staying here the only bonus points is the staff excluding reception!

Terrible service and hotel management.
Booked a 4 persons room, it was terrible as the beds were laid out in a very awkward position that left no other space in the hotel room, we barely had enough space to open our suitcases.
The hotel management in general is poor, they don't clean the rooms properly. Everytime we ask for water bottles they either only give 2 or don't give any. We had a minor incident where we needed to check the CCTV footage for our floor, it took 3 days for us to finally get somewhere with this.
Hotel manager is rude and walked off as we were speaking to him. The reception staff again is incompetent and does not seem to care about anything.
The switches are really strange as the sockets are connected to the lights in the room, everytime u want to charge your phone etc u have to keep the light on which is really really strange.
The only thing that was decent was the food. Breakfast and dinner items are always fresh and they change the dishes they make quite often . The tables are cleaned frequently and food gets replenished every time it finishes.

It was quite far from Haram, a good 15mins walk.
Bathroom had mould and coffee area had sugar and dust all over. When we request to clean the room, everything was still there.
Receptionist lady at the Restaurant upstairs on Thursday 23rd February 2023 during dinner time was so rude. She doesn’t have basic manners. I asked nicely if they can heat my kids food, instead of refusing nicely, she pointed me to the door in front of everyone. SO RUDE!

The location is about 7-8 mkns walks from the entrance of haram gate 79 .
The hotel itself looks very presentable but rooms are very dated and need refurbishment. Frontbif house need better Customer service skills especially the lady at reception who when posed with a problem seems to uses gestures and arrogance as her way to deal with issues.
The gentlemen and the service guys are very helpful and pleasant.
Having stayed for a few days with several problems and then room changes this seemed to be common as many other guests had the same issue and same broken promises. For a hotel with ample rooms it seemed like they just couldn't be bothered.
Broken telephones broken lights , lack of facilities and 1 iron to use amongst the hundreds of rooms and you won't get one for 3 days and even then you only can use for 1 hr, constant trips to reception but all broken false promises.
The good things about the place is it is value for money and you could see that once upon a time it was 5 star but now pushing 3 stars. The location is on Ibrahim al khalil St with plenty of food and shopping available nearby.

Alhamdulillah We arrived on the 24th July 2023 from Malaysia. The lady reception is really nice and polite. She makes the check in process really straight foward and fast for me and my father. May Allah ease her life. The breakfast is good. The hotel is around 10-12 minutes to Haram. Room is big and toilet is clean.Aircond is superb. Wifi also very fast. Im grateful to found this hotel even is not like the nearest or higher star to masjid..
Its still a good and clean room. Also theres a lot of shop/food along the way to hotel from masjid. So you wont be feel like walking far. InsyaAllah will come back.

To be honest when I read the reviews of this hotel I had a different image in my head. But my stay proved the reviews wrong. It was a lovely hotel. House keeping were 5 âï¸. Always helpful, gave everything i needed. Cleaned the room when I asked. Like I said housekeeping were just GREAT. The location of the hotel was in the BEST place. Everything in my convenience and the best thing was that it was just a 10min walk to haram shareef. I will give it 5/5

Absolutely awful..!! Worst hotel ever. Starting from reception service to room conditions, everything was way below standard. I can't believe they are rated as 5 star. Totally scammed!! Please don't waste your valuable money. Toilets are so dirty that we had to shift to another room but again no better! Overall, very very poor. Customer service was unacceptable. Also there is no WIFI connection only accessible in ground floor but no access in rooms, the food is quite acceptable Will never recommend this....

Room was not carpeted, sockets were not working or the socket was linked with the table lamp so you don't have option to keep your mobile on charge while you want to keep the table lamp off. It's a 10-minute straight walk to harm. No uphill or downhill. So was comfortable for kids to walk.
They have a separate floor for a restaurant which we didn't use. Floor for Parking and a floor for Prayer hall.

This is a very good hotel compared to the other hotels in the vicinity. It’s located in Ibrahim Al Khalil street, about 1 Km walk from the Haram (about 15-20 minutes walk depending on your speed). I have booked a quad room. It was spacious, clean and doesn’t smell. It had street view, from the 8th floor, beds and linen were clean, bathroom was well maintained and clean. The room is spacious enough for the needs, there is a kettle and facility to make coffee, and there is a small fridge.
Electronic card keys work fine with no issues. There is a small wardrobe / hanger for clothes. The single beds and mattresses are comfortable. I would give this room / hotel an overall rating of 8/10. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was almost seamless with no issues.
It did take few minutes longer to check in more than necessary, but compared to other hotels in the region and previous experiences, it was really good.

There is two hotel towers we were in tower A so I don't know about tower B. From the outside, lobby restaurant tower A was 4 star but the room was a little 3 star - no carpet and the bathroom was not as modern for 4 star rating. Also there was no WiFi connection in the room even though we were 4 floors up - only in the lobby could you get a better connection. Breakfast buffet was good.

Rooms were clean and Masjid Al Nabawi was very close only 5 min walk. However, the room was very noisy because the window wasn't sound proof and there was a loud fan outside which kept me awake on the first night in the hotel as I couldn't sleep. I went downstairs to ask for help with the issue but the staff were very rude in their response and did not do anything useful. The noise stayed.

Awful customer service , not safe for women as a mother I was reassured by reception/ manager my young daughters single would be safe on a different floor. They were harassed by room service staff, their doors were knocked for no reasons other than to speak to them my complaints were not taken seriously , as a Brit I feel disappointed that I felt unsafe in such a holy land because of the staff in this hotel. I wanted the police involved but all I got was a sloppy excuse and a text message from allegedly HQ tht the room service staff member wld be moved to another floor !! My point was tht he and other staff kept knocking on my single daughters door and asking irrelevant questions I also saw him enter another female guest room who seemed anxious upon asking her as she was also British and she told me she did not ask him or want him in her room but he seemed to enter .The chef was. sleaze , I watched him looking at young girls in a very inappropriate way when he thought no one looking . This is when I alerted reception for the 3rd time but still police were not called . If anyone as self respect for their women folk do not use this hotel . I wld rather pay more and go upon reccomadation anywhere close by as the location was perfect .

NEVER BOOK HERE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
They cancelled my booking less than 24 hrs of my expected arrival. I walked into the premises with my two kids to be told that my booking was cancelled. I was told the cancellation was done by the head office, whereas I got an email notification later saying I had cancelled the booking. I was not given the opportunity to talk to any management staff.
At the premises, the only help offered was to visit the hotels in the vicinity by foot or search availability online.
Unprofessional staff and management. Liars and inconsiderate management

The rooms and the hotel were beautiful. I loved them. I got a deal with breakfast included. But it was not up to the mark. I was expecting much more from a hotel named 'Emaar'. But, I didn't like breakfast one bit. Similarly, the dinner buffet was a rip off. They charged 80 SAR for the buffet. But the buffet did not give any value.

Location is perfect and close to Masjid Nabwi, checking in was easy and fast, big spacious rooms. Pillows were not great, bathroom tap was letting out hardly any water, had to ring housekeeping multiple times to clean rooms and again asking for new towels after not being given them after the cleaning. Bad lighting in the rooms, all they had was small lamps. Key cards kept disconnecting and not working for the rooms had to go to reception 3 times on different days because of this.

My first Umrah was more than a journey; it was a profound awakening, a dream made reality, and Yousaf Tours were the architects of this transformative experience. From the moment I booked, a sense of calm assurance settled within me, a feeling that I was in capable hands.
As a first-time pilgrim, the logistics were paramount. Flights and accommodations needed to be seamless, allowing me to focus on the spiritual heart of the journey. Yousaf Tours delivered flawlessly. The hotels in both Makkah and Madinah were a blessing – mere steps from the Haram, offering unparalleled proximity to the sacred. The comfort was exceptional, a sanctuary after long hours of devotion. And the culinary experience? A revelation! Forget the ubiquitous fast food; the hotel restaurants offered a haven of fresh, delicious meals, a testament to Yousaf Tours' commitment to holistic well-being.
But the true magic lay in the guidance. Our tour guide was a beacon of knowledge and patience. He didn't just lead us through the rituals; he illuminated them. Every step, every prayer, was meticulously explained, allowing us to truly understand the significance of each action. His dedication to ensuring we had a life-changing experience was palpable, his priority unwavering: our understanding and connection to the divine. He encouraged us to repeat prayers, fostering a sense of participation and personal connection. I was utterly moved by his unwavering patience and genuine desire to enrich our spiritual journey.
Beyond the rituals, we embarked on captivating tours, tracing the footsteps of our beloved Prophet (S.A.W). To walk where he walked, to see what he saw – Yousaf Tours curated these moments with reverence and care, transforming history into a living, breathing experience.
Three weeks have passed since my return, and the memories remain vivid, almost surreal. It truly feels like a beautiful, sacred dream. Yousaf Tours didn't just organize a trip; they crafted a profound, life-altering experience. They understood the gravity of Umrah, the yearning of the soul, and they delivered with excellence, compassion, and unwavering dedication. If you seek a pilgrimage that transcends the ordinary, a journey that touches the very core of your being, I wholeheartedly recommend Yousaf Tours. They transformed my first Umrah from a pilgrimage to a cherished, eternal memory.

I recently had the pleasure of going on a holiday to a destination that surpassed all my expectations with YRT, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best holidays I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the incredibly friendly staff, who went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect.
The accommodation was nothing short of amazing, with spacious and tastefully decorated rooms that offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. The amenities were top-notch, and I particularly enjoyed the luxurious facilities, which added an additional layer of relaxation and indulgence to my holiday experience.
Perhaps the highlight of my trip was the wide range of activities and excursions that were on offer. I had the opportunity to explore the local attractions, including ziyraatan, historical landmarks, and thrilling outdoor adventures, all of which were expertly guided by knowledgeable and enthusiastic mudasser.
Last but not least, the food was simply outstanding. I was blown away by the variety and quality of dishes served, each of them bursting with flavour and creativity. Whether it was a sumptuous breakfast spread or a delicious dinner, every meal was a feast for the senses.
Overall, my holiday experience exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I can't recommend this destination and its wonderful hospitality highly enough. I can't wait for the opportunity to go back and experience it all over again. So, if you are looking for a holiday experience that will leave you feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and utterly satisfied, this is the perfect place to visit.

I used YRT to book my Umrah trip with my son. I went on my own without a group for the first time. Everything was perfectly organized by brother mudassir from hotels, ziyarats and pick up/drop off by the transport manager. I was a bit nervous as I was going on my own with my son the first time. However brother mudassir answered all my questions which made me feel at ease. Brother mudassir sent me a text message explaining about the trip and then followed it by a call. He even gave me a number of the hotel ground contact in Saudia Arabia, just in case I had an issues with my booking. But Allhumdulliah I had no issues. What was even more better, was the transport manager that YRT had arranged. They were very organized and on time. I am so grateful for YRT for providing me with this great experience.

We used YRT for the first time for our umrah trip, alhumdulillah we felt at ease throughout the whole trip from organisation of tickets, visas etc to accommodation, travel and ziyarahs. The tour lead Mudasser was amazing during umrah he kept all the group together and helped us perform the umrah which was of great help to those performing umrah for the first time. He also arranged various ziayaras infact covered most of them in great depth, however I would not recommend going to Al-ula as it was a long journey and difficult for the elderly and children in the group and also didn't feel it was needed. Overall the trip was a truly amazing experience and Mudasser was of great help especially when my baby needed medical care he took us to the care centre and kept checking in, which put us at ease. Not forgetting the dinner he arranged for the whole group was absolutely fab, in shaa Allah we go again very soon with YRT :)
