Our room was very good with a full view of the Kaaba. The facilities had everything that one could possibly need and more. The food was also very good with an incredible amount of variations. Would recommend this hotel fully for a close stay to the Kaaba as it only takes around 10 minutes of walking on a crowded day. If you are concidering this hotel, do yourself a favor and pick it.

We are very satisfied with the hotel room and service. The things that beings the ratings down are the breakfast choice is quite limited and access to the hotel from the shopping center is quite confusing.
Other than that, everything is top notch!
The room was very clean, housekeeping was very attentive, even the other staff (receptionist when checking in, restaurant staff, etc) were very polite and helpful.

Amazing hotel. Just need to get used to how to use the elevators and different floors numbering. Not all elevators are active all the time. Waiting time is long at times for elevators.
Very convenient location and very good service. Clean, professional and timely service.
When you arrive, your luggage is taken and delivered to your room while you check in.
Water, dental hygiene kits, quality soap, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, lotion are provided along with plenty of towels.
Cleaners visit regularly to check if you need more water or for cleaning.
Low speed wifi is provided. If dinner is not part of the package, it is available for a charge of 120 Riyals, definitely worth it because it is a quality and healthy buffet.

I recently stayed at the hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the housekeeping services. The room was impeccably clean, well-organized, and maintained to a high standard. The bathroom was spotless, with fresh towels, well-stocked amenities, and no signs of dirt or grime-truly a refreshing experience.
A special mention goes to Tabish, the housekeeping supervisor, who ensured everything was in perfect order. His attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to address any requests promptly made my stay even more comfortable.

What a brilliant hotel. The facility, location and Concierge service was great (Amin bellman)provided good service. Also all staff make this hotel memorable and convenient for all. This was my first trip to do Umrah and I was accompanied by my elderly parents. Alhanouf was brilliant at check in recognising this and providing us with a room upgrade with a Haram view and complimentary breakfast. This made all the difference for the comfort of my parents and I would commend her highly and thank her for this trip of a lifetime.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights the hotel is a great location for the Haram including having Kaaba views however there were a few things which can be improved. It is also worth knowing there are 2 lifts required to get to your room but the lifts are frequent but busy at times.
1. Our room had 4 beds was to solved in a day or so however no one came to remove the beds so we were very tight on space this was agreed at check in would be resolved
2. We had to ring housekeeping several times for them to bring towels to our room given room clean was not timely.
3. Even after requesting a room clean with the sign on the door no one would come so I would have to tell the housekeeping team I saw in other rooms to clean mine or call reception to get it cleaned sooner
4. I requested a staff member to send some zamzam to my room to which he agreed and it didn't come which is disappointing
5. The check in and check out process was not efficient as there was only 1 member on the front desk and therefore took a while which isn’t great
6. On check out we called 1 hour before we wanted to leave to ensure someone was there to bring our bags and no one came and also called again. In the end we had to go downstairs and only then someone came up with me
7. The breakfast process needs to be smoother by opening all 3 areas to make it easier for everyone the queues are very long and a lot of pushing and shoving which could be avoided.
8. The breakfast drinks are very limited and need to speak to the right people to request proper krak tea. The Moroccan supervisor was great I forgot his name and was very helpful to get us karak tea with milk.
9. When the food runs out on the counter it takes a long time for the staff to refill for example I was waiting for 5 mins for bread to be refilled

Staying at Swissotel Al Maqam was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel’s proximity to the Haram is incredibly convenient—just take any elevator from the Clock Tower to P5, and you’re right there.
Our room with a Kaaba view was beyond words—such a spiritually uplifting sight to wake up to each day. The shared mosque on P9 was another great feature, allowing us to pray in congregation with ease.
I strongly suggest booking a package that includes breakfast or half board. The meals were varied, fresh, and perfect for families. What’s more, the pricing often covers two adults and two children, making it excellent value.
A special mention to Mr. Mazen at the Front Desk—he made our stay even better. He’s extremely courteous, speaks English fluently, and always greeted us with a warm smile. His respectful and helpful manner really stood out. Mr. Adel at front seat while checkin was very professional, polite n humble with good command over English. Over all excellent staff in all areas.
In short, this hotel offers not just convenience and comfort, but a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere that enhances your spiritual journey. Highly recommended!

This is a nice hotel very close to the Kaaba. A short walk of 3 min leads you to the entrance of the grand mosque. The hotel is in a big mall which opens into the courtyard leading to the grand mosque. Elevators that are common to the mall and the hotel are busy. The hotel has its own elevators that take you down to the haram which are less busy. The food is good. Fresh fruit choice is limited to only apples and oranges sometimes watermelon. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mohamed took good care of me as I worked on my laptop during breakfast. Thanks Mohamed!
Overall, It is very convenient for travelers willing to spend the extra bucks.

Everything was spot on! Had a great time praying next to the Kaaba within 10-15 minutes walking distance. We were given the Kaaba view rooms when picking rooms. The restaurant staff were extra helpful as me, my uncle, my grandma, my mum and aunties had experienced one of the best services where tea was given when ordered politely from the waiters. The staff are always there when needed and called upon and they have the solution to any problem.

Excellent experience from check in to check out. All round great performance from staff ranging from front office, housekeeping, breakfast service. Well done team - given how busy the hotel is the standard is great. Perfect location and route to haram; not through the mall which is distracting and pretty busy. There will be small areas of improvement here and there but given the number of people and requests they have to deal with it’s fine.

A Heartfelt Thank You to the Hotel Team
This was our second stay at the hotel with my family, and once again, the experience was exceptional. The services provided were truly outclass, making our stay both comfortable and memorable.
A special thank you to Chef Rafat, whose omelets and pancakes were simply the best—our mornings were made delightful thanks to his culinary skills.
We are also deeply grateful to Ahmed Essa and Abdul Rahman for their kind gesture in upgrading us to a suite, ensuring our family could stay together in comfort. Their hospitality truly made a difference.
The housekeeping team deserves a big shout-out as well—they were always available and attentive, keeping everything spotless and welcoming.
Last but not least, our sincere thanks to the hotel management for maintaining such high standards and ensuring the best services for their guests. Your dedication to excellence is evident in every detail.
Looking forward to our next visit!

Brother Rasheed was so amazing every day greeted my 5 year old so nicely she never forgot him ; He would always greet her by her name and ask her how she is and she should make dua for him ; He left to Sudan and my daughter still asked about brother Rasheed .. Jazakallah fir making our experience wonderful …
Our room was haram view beautiful , it was a bit crowed with all the beds; we had a wonderful housekeeping guy brother Fahad; He was an exceptional hard worker and knew what we needed and cleaned the room to our satisfaction; he was overworked but smiled Madam do you need anything else ?
Even though the hot water wasn’t working and it wasn’t his job to fix but he got someone to help us right away .. two days in a row they kept coming to fix but wasn’t getting fixed the front desk upgraded us to a room but the front office people were not very friendly from checking in to being upgraded everything was about it money..
As the hot water wasn’t working which they changed the room and I had a Ziyarah to go to and I had to delay it to help the bell boy the character and what needed to be done was so poorly by the front desk .. I was so upset and I was delayed to the Ziyarah and they didn’t care ..a great disappointment
The kitchen manager was nice especially to my elderly father which made me very happy ; he would always smile and ask him if we needed anything ..
The Chef who made the egg and pancakes was so nice to my children and myself he worked so hard and made the best pancakes and omelettes .. he always smiled and was very efficient with making our food.. thank you for making our experience great
Brother Ashfaque was very nice and helpful bringing our suitcase to our room very nice bell man very overwhelming with all the work but always smiles and was patient ..
Our waiter at the breakfast was nice; brother Choton Ali was very nice and accommodating..
Close to the Nisa side.. very grateful for the stay and all the positive and good efforts

There’s no way this is a 3 star rated hotel; in my view it’s definitely a 5 star hotel. I honestly cannot fault it; the location, service, rooms and especially the breakfast was 5 star standard. Ali from breakfast restaurant really went out of the way to ensure our table was always catered for; from tea to pancakes, he knew what we wanted before we asked for it. Really felt like a personal service; pls pass on our special thanks. Breakfast was definitely 5 star standard. Chef Majid made the best omelettes and was always friendly, despite the popularity and early morning queue. Also our usual house keeping staff ensured our room (1035) was clean and fresh everyday; pls pass on our thanks (I’ve forgotten the names). Lastly, I would also like to pass on special thanks to Abdul Rehman from reception who greated us at check in and gave us an outstanding room especially for my disabled mother who would be able to enjoy haram view when reading slaah from the room (with sounds of Azaan and imam leading prayers in the room (live). My mother is eternally grateful. Many many thanks team Taiba Front; a job well done. Pls have your hotel rated again as I am sure it will be rated 5 star!⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
PS we stayed for 8 nights and the plastic plates and cutlery (some reviews have mentioned) was only temporary for a few days since the kitchen was being refurbed. They’d quickly switched to proper plates and cutlery after a few days. If guests had bothered to ask then I’m sure the staff would have explained like they did to us.

Stayed here December 2023 and it was a lovely stay. We weren't expecting much for a 3-star hotel but we were impressed by the standard and customer service. Our room was very spacious with two separate 'bedrooms' and a small kitchen which was very nice. The shower room was also very clean and spacious too. We didn't eat breakfast here so I cannot comment on that. The location is excellent, the hotel is very close to the ladies entrance/ prayer area to Masjid Nabawi, as well as all of the shops, restaurants and even pharmacies. Housekeeping staff were also very kind and helpful.

Their ‘Suhoor’ buffet ended almost a full HOUR before Fajr and when the lady behind us asked for water just after 4am (when fasting starts at 4:54am) they asked her for 6SR! Really poor way to treat people who pay good money for a SUHOOR buffet.
Food however had good flavours.
Reception was very rude and not friendly.
Broken items in our suite: towel holder, toilet seat, TV, kettle.
Not enough lifts for the number of guests they have, had to use stairs as queues for lifts were very long.
Location was the only thing good about this hotel as very close to Masjid An Nabawi.
Not worth the almost £1000/night we paid for this hotel as very poor service and customer service especially regarding the suhoor….kids were thirsty and hungry.

Some problems with lifts as not enough lifts for guests so usually a 5-10 minute wait around salaah time but otherwise perfect hotel, clean, convenient and lots of eateries in the vicinity. Beautiful view of the whole masjid uninterrupted view of the dome from the Haram view rooms.

Ideal location in front of women gate. Rooms are clean. Breakfast area is also spacious. They do need more lifts. The building has a mall also for small shopping.

Location wise it's the best choice but other than that it's not worth the money I paid. The furniture and mirror had oily finger marks every where. Mirrors had some stick stuff. Even the bathroom door and frame had lots of splashes of dried up soap. Windows were so dirty from inside. I took my wipes and clean the whole thing as I wouldn't stay in such condition. I wasn't expecting this at all. So unhygienic. Rooms and hallways were so dingy. Carpet is disgusting.
They gave us complimentary fruits that was so nice of them.
My request to hotel management is to maintain a good cleanliness standard. Hotel itself is built nice but dirtiness killed the good vibe.

I would recommend this hotel if you want to throw your money in the toilet. Housekeeping came at 10:30pm EVERY night instead of coming during the day. The food made us sick every time without fail. Every time we tried to order room service, they tried to convince us to go to the buffet instead, and by the time the food got delivered to our room, it’d already be cold (we didn’t even get our correct order sometimes). There are 3 elevators but half the time only one was in service, and it was ALWAYS filled at capacity so we’d be waiting up to 20 minutes just to try to get on. Our room neighbours were always screaming in the middle of the night so we didn’t even sleep well, and reception did nothing about it.

I don’t even know where to start off. WORST hotel experience ever. As I came , to even get inside the area to go up to the lobby there was a huge line. The elevators take FOREVER, even though there are two different ones at two different locations. The hotel feels so cramped always a terrible scent within the hallways, and the room was the worst nightmare. Bed sheets have stains, carpets dirty, and a jungle of mess under the beds!!! Absolutely disgusting. Water heater was off the first day , someone came after 30 minutes and fixed it, the lights switch was behind my brothers pillow which was very annoying whenever he lay down. Rooms walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in the hallway and anyone walking by can hear anything you are saying in the room. There were flys and ants in the bathrooms. When my bags were dropped off the bell boy just rolled them to me aggressively and even hit my neighbors door and just left. There is a disturbing alarm that goes off every few hours even in the night time when you were sleeping. Employees say it’s no worry but alarm still went off for the 4-5 days I was there. Rooms never come with towels you always have to call and they take 20 minutes just to bring you towels. Rooms are so packed you have no room to store your luggage. Furthermore, back to the elevators , they take forever and are so tiny. The buttons to call for elevators are broken because of frustrating guests I am guessing. The restaurant they have smelled like dead fish every time you go there. And when I finally went to speak to the manager about this , he never apologized and told me to speak to my travel agent… I mean what kind of manager and hotel is this. This is not a hotel and more like a motel. I DON’T RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is falling apart plumbing is very bad our bath sink was leaking and the water was gushing out like a broken pipe. Hair on bed. Bathroom not clean. Phone doesn't work. The housekeeping is terrible the whole day goes and your room is not cleaned. Stains on beddings. Don't be fooled by pics on internet. Bathroom door handle broken.

The hotel is very close to the Haramain. Within few minutes you are in the Haramain. The lifts are very very busy. It is also used to take luggage up which restricts guests from using some of them. You can wait for long periods before getting into a lift. Other guests cut their way through into the lift, so be prepared to be patient. Fortunately I stayed on the 3rd Floor so I was able to use the stairs, but for elderly guests it might be a problem. The breakfast starts little later then other hotels. The beds are also slightly smaller than other hotels. You have to remind house keeping daily to make up your room. Although these issues, I will only return if I get a booking on level 2 or 3. Otherwise the lift really stresses me out.

Skip some of the ziyaarah’s, the brother was so flexible and accommodating…. Always at hand if ever needed him for anything! Before we left i found his vids on the little things like plugs amd sockets and money exchange tips really handy! These are details that are small yet significant so he covered it all for us just so that we dont forget! Once there, he provided us with trusted places to shop, exchange money etc and some other visits we did too that were humbling!! You cannot get this when travelling alone! Brother went out of his way to make the stay as comfrtble as possible not just for adults but the kids too! And the trolley for the luggage at the end of to the trip was icing on the cake! Jzk for an unforgettable experience… i am already planning my next trip! ❤️

This was my first time travelling to Al Aqsa and with Zaarvel, I have been to many destinations and this was by far one of the best trips. From the very beginning brother Numayar looked after us and stayed with us until we got through the checkpoints at Tel Aviv. We were understandably very nervous but we soon realised we really had nothing to worry about. Everything was organsied perfectly from the transport to hotel to the very educational tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and have already recommended to others. We would definitely travel with Zaarvel again.

Zaarvel Team had made this a memorable experience for me and my family.
In our group there were between 50/55 people from London, Leicester, Manchester, Dubai, etc.
Before we travel, Zaarvel make it clear what is needed and essentials for trip. We have video conference for any questions that you may have, very in depth.
This is my 2nd time at Al Aqsa and can't get enough. What amazing trip, very well organised and packed everyday with things to do. Day 1, walking around Al Aqsa Compound and learning the history by experienced tour guild. Day 2 visiting locals or doing walking tour outside the compound. Day 3 coach trip from 8am to 9pm, visiting famous Ibrahim Mosjid and Musa Mosjid, Banksy Museum, Jericho, Mount of Olives, etc. Day 4 Jummah and shopping, Day 5 return. Action packed.
When visiting Al Aqsa alot of Sabr patience is needed. At airport any foreigner they will keep few hours and may question what your visit is about.
Insha'Allah I will be going again and again.

Visiting Al-Aqsa was honestly one of the most emotional and spiritual things I’ve ever experienced. From praying in the blessed compound to the amazing excursions organised by Zaarvel, every part of the trip reminded me how powerful and deep our history is as Muslims.
The itinerary was so well thought out — I loved how the guides mixed in historical facts with spiritual lessons, whether we were at the Mount of Olives, Masjid Umar, or visiting the tombs of the Prophets. Praying in those places was something else… it really hit the heart.
Alhamdulillah, my group was also amazing — supportive, kind, and filled with beautiful souls that made the journey even more special.
This trip wasn’t just sightseeing — it was healing. I left with a heart that honestly just wants to return again, inshaAllah.
May Allah let us all visit Masjid Al-Aqsa, protect its people, and keep our hearts connected to it. Ameen.

I recently had the honour of going on a Zaarvel tour to Palestine and honestly, it was one of the most eye opening and emotional experiences of my life. From the moment we landed to the moment we left, everything was organised with so much care and thought. The whole trip ran smoothly, the tour guides were brilliant, and you could tell they were genuinely passionate about sharing the truth and history of Palestine.
This trip really changed me. Before coming, I never took the boycott seriously. I’d hear about it now and then, but I would just brush it off thinking it doesn’t really matter. But after seeing the reality with my own eyes, even just the small day to day struggles the Palestinians go through, I realised how important it actually is. What we saw was only a tiny part of what they deal with every single day. It broke my heart and it opened my eyes. From now on, In Sha Allah, I will do my part and take the boycott seriously.
What Zaarvel offered was more than just a tour. It was a journey that touched the heart and soul. Every stop, every moment, felt like it had real purpose. It was clear that the team behind this trip put in a lot of effort and that they truly care about the cause.
I’m honestly so grateful I got the chance to be part of it. This wasn’t just about seeing places. It was about learning, reflecting and understanding the deeper truth. I would 100 percent recommend Zaarvel to anyone who wants a real, honest and powerful experience in Palestine. May Allah SWT reward the whole team for everything they’ve done.

Blessed to have had the opportunity to visit the Holy Land with Zaarvel! Amazing trip with a well organised tour operator who is experienced with this destination. Excellent communication and guidance pre and during the tour by Numayar who made the whole journey seamless. Zaarvel arranged excellent local guides from Jerusalem and their knowledge was outstanding providing great depth to the tours.
Everyone should try to visit Palestine if they have the opportunity and show solidarity and support to the people of Al Quds.
Zaarvel is highly recommended to anyone wishing to embark on this amazing cultural and spiritual journey!

I’ve been on group tours but going with Zaarvel was a cut above the rest for sure!
From the booking process to returning from the Al Aqsa trip, the service was undeniable.
They were swift in all responses and queries and put any worries to bed. The entire time we were treated like guests with all our needs catered to. Even if something was not on the itinerary but we were interested to go there or do something, it was arranged for the ones who wanted to go.
Zaarvel team knew everyone on the ground and are well connected on the other side so you feel completely at ease knowing you’re in safe hands. We were treated like guests, friends and family. Through their genuineness and sincerity, they created an unforgettable trip of a lifetime.
Thanks and best wishes for a successful future!
