Loved our visit to makkah. Stayed in emaar grand hotel. Group of 9. Everything was good. Just needed some toilet tiles work. The rest is 5*.
Would visit again.

I recently stayed at the Emaar Grand Hotel in Mecca, booking a room advertised for five people. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially larger groups.
The room itself was incredibly tight for five beds. We were practically on top of each other, and there was barely any space to move around or store our belongings comfortably. This lack of space made our stay very uncomfortable and frankly, quite stressful.
Beyond the cramped quarters, the room service was also severely lacking. On multiple occasions, we tried to contact room service, but the phone simply went unanswered. This made it impossible to request basic necessities or address any issues we had.
Considering the high price we paid for this hotel, the level of service and the size of the room were completely unacceptable. It felt like we were significantly overcharged for a very poor experience.
If you are planning a trip to Mecca and require accommodation for more than a couple of people, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The Emaar Grand Hotel's cramped rooms and unreliable service are not worth the money or the frustration. Save yourself the disappointment and book a different hotel.

The only nice thing about the hotel is its interior. The hotel facilities were rubbish. The shower cubicle wouldn’t close properly and the water would wet the whole floor in the bathroom. The hair dryer in the bathroom has such low power that it will take you an hour to dry your long hair with it. The bathroom plumbing was horrific, whenever you run water you can smell of the gutter. The room ventilation system seems like it hasn’t been cleaned in years and would definitely make you sick!
The place just looks fancy from the interior used but has little to no facilities available. Breakfast was super bland and basic. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

Breakfast was good as we had breakfast included in our booking
I'll consider other options (distance from Haram and room service), before booking it again.

I am currently staying here and as I am writing this review i’m waiting for maintenance to come because my room power keeps stopping. We have only been here for two days tonight being the third and i am just honestly so ready to go home, which is upsetting.
1) the rooms are decent sized, as far as i know. our room was for three people so there were three beds. Very standard. However, the windows are broken and you can hear EVERYTHING outside.
2) the toilet smells and is always 24/7 hot. It’s very tight and cramped. and once again like every other review we were only given two towels despite being three people. Normally hotels i’ve been to you get at least two towels per person the second one being a smaller towel??!
3) THE LIFTS. If you want clarity and a peace of mind please don’t even consider booking here! There are so many lifts but there are WAYY MORE people. You can wait for the lift for almost 1 HOUR
4) Lastly the distance. It’s not worth your money it’s a long walk and isn’t “5 minutes”!
All in all i definitely will not be staying here the only bonus points is the staff excluding reception!

The location is about 7-8 mkns walks from the entrance of haram gate 79 .
The hotel itself looks very presentable but rooms are very dated and need refurbishment. Frontbif house need better Customer service skills especially the lady at reception who when posed with a problem seems to uses gestures and arrogance as her way to deal with issues.
The gentlemen and the service guys are very helpful and pleasant.
Having stayed for a few days with several problems and then room changes this seemed to be common as many other guests had the same issue and same broken promises. For a hotel with ample rooms it seemed like they just couldn't be bothered.
Broken telephones broken lights , lack of facilities and 1 iron to use amongst the hundreds of rooms and you won't get one for 3 days and even then you only can use for 1 hr, constant trips to reception but all broken false promises.
The good things about the place is it is value for money and you could see that once upon a time it was 5 star but now pushing 3 stars. The location is on Ibrahim al khalil St with plenty of food and shopping available nearby.

Alhamdulillah We arrived on the 24th July 2023 from Malaysia. The lady reception is really nice and polite. She makes the check in process really straight foward and fast for me and my father. May Allah ease her life. The breakfast is good. The hotel is around 10-12 minutes to Haram. Room is big and toilet is clean.Aircond is superb. Wifi also very fast. Im grateful to found this hotel even is not like the nearest or higher star to masjid..
Its still a good and clean room. Also theres a lot of shop/food along the way to hotel from masjid. So you wont be feel like walking far. InsyaAllah will come back.

To be honest when I read the reviews of this hotel I had a different image in my head. But my stay proved the reviews wrong. It was a lovely hotel. House keeping were 5 âï¸. Always helpful, gave everything i needed. Cleaned the room when I asked. Like I said housekeeping were just GREAT. The location of the hotel was in the BEST place. Everything in my convenience and the best thing was that it was just a 10min walk to haram shareef. I will give it 5/5

Terrible service and hotel management.
Booked a 4 persons room, it was terrible as the beds were laid out in a very awkward position that left no other space in the hotel room, we barely had enough space to open our suitcases.
The hotel management in general is poor, they don't clean the rooms properly. Everytime we ask for water bottles they either only give 2 or don't give any. We had a minor incident where we needed to check the CCTV footage for our floor, it took 3 days for us to finally get somewhere with this.
Hotel manager is rude and walked off as we were speaking to him. The reception staff again is incompetent and does not seem to care about anything.
The switches are really strange as the sockets are connected to the lights in the room, everytime u want to charge your phone etc u have to keep the light on which is really really strange.
The only thing that was decent was the food. Breakfast and dinner items are always fresh and they change the dishes they make quite often . The tables are cleaned frequently and food gets replenished every time it finishes.

Bathroom had mould and coffee area had sugar and dust all over. When we request to clean the room, everything was still there.
Receptionist lady at the Restaurant upstairs on Thursday 23rd February 2023 during dinner time was so rude. She doesn’t have basic manners. I asked nicely if they can heat my kids food, instead of refusing nicely, she pointed me to the door in front of everyone. SO RUDE!

Room was not carpeted, sockets were not working or the socket was linked with the table lamp so you don't have option to keep your mobile on charge while you want to keep the table lamp off. Absolutely awful..!! Worst hotel ever. Starting from reception service to room conditions, everything was way below standard. I can't believe they are rated as 5 star. Totally scammed!! Please don't waste your valuable money. Toilets are so dirty that we had to shift to another room but again no better! Overall, very very poor. Customer service was unacceptable. Also there is no WIFI connection only accessible in ground floor but no access in rooms, the food is quite acceptable Will never recommend this....

It's a 10-minute straight walk to harm. No uphill or downhill. So was comfortable for kids to walk.
They have a separate floor for a restaurant which we didn't use. Floor for Parking and a floor for Prayer hall.

This is a very good hotel compared to the other hotels in the vicinity. It’s located in Ibrahim Al Khalil street, about 1 Km walk from the Haram (about 15-20 minutes walk depending on your speed). I have booked a quad room. It was spacious, clean and doesn’t smell. It had street view, from the 8th floor, beds and linen were clean, bathroom was well maintained and clean. The room is spacious enough for the needs, there is a kettle and facility to make coffee, and there is a small fridge.
Electronic card keys work fine with no issues. There is a small wardrobe / hanger for clothes. The single beds and mattresses are comfortable. I would give this room / hotel an overall rating of 8/10. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was almost seamless with no issues.
It did take few minutes longer to check in more than necessary, but compared to other hotels in the region and previous experiences, it was really good.

There is two hotel towers we were in tower A so I don't know about tower B. From the outside, lobby restaurant tower A was 4 star but the room was a little 3 star - no carpet and the bathroom was not as modern for 4 star rating. Also there was no WiFi connection in the room even though we were 4 floors up - only in the lobby could you get a better connection. Breakfast buffet was good.

Nice view, very clean and good rooms also the washroom well maintained with all the required amenities just that the room doesn’t have the ceiling lights and has only lamps. Reception staff are active and prompt in helping and some of the room service staff too. Wasn’t satisfied with the buffet but Alhamdulillah the purpose was done as Haram is just at 5 minutes walk away.

Rooms were clean and Masjid Al Nabawi was very close only 5 min walk. However, the room was very noisy because the window wasn't sound proof and there was a loud fan outside which kept me awake on the first night in the hotel as I couldn't sleep. I went downstairs to ask for help with the issue but the staff were very rude in their response and did not do anything useful. The noise stayed.

Awful customer service , not safe for women as a mother I was reassured by reception/ manager my young daughters single would be safe on a different floor. They were harassed by room service staff, their doors were knocked for no reasons other than to speak to them my complaints were not taken seriously , as a Brit I feel disappointed that I felt unsafe in such a holy land because of the staff in this hotel. I wanted the police involved but all I got was a sloppy excuse and a text message from allegedly HQ tht the room service staff member wld be moved to another floor !! My point was tht he and other staff kept knocking on my single daughters door and asking irrelevant questions I also saw him enter another female guest room who seemed anxious upon asking her as she was also British and she told me she did not ask him or want him in her room but he seemed to enter .The chef was. sleaze , I watched him looking at young girls in a very inappropriate way when he thought no one looking . This is when I alerted reception for the 3rd time but still police were not called . If anyone as self respect for their women folk do not use this hotel . I wld rather pay more and go upon reccomadation anywhere close by as the location was perfect .

NEVER BOOK HERE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
They cancelled my booking less than 24 hrs of my expected arrival. I walked into the premises with my two kids to be told that my booking was cancelled. I was told the cancellation was done by the head office, whereas I got an email notification later saying I had cancelled the booking. I was not given the opportunity to talk to any management staff.
At the premises, the only help offered was to visit the hotels in the vicinity by foot or search availability online.
Unprofessional staff and management. Liars and inconsiderate management

The rooms and the hotel were beautiful. I loved them. I got a deal with breakfast included. But it was not up to the mark. I was expecting much more from a hotel named 'Emaar'. But, I didn't like breakfast one bit. Similarly, the dinner buffet was a rip off. They charged 80 SAR for the buffet. But the buffet did not give any value.

Location is perfect and close to Masjid Nabwi, checking in was easy and fast, big spacious rooms. Pillows were not great, bathroom tap was letting out hardly any water, had to ring housekeeping multiple times to clean rooms and again asking for new towels after not being given them after the cleaning. Bad lighting in the rooms, all they had was small lamps. Key cards kept disconnecting and not working for the rooms had to go to reception 3 times on different days because of this.

I was truly blessed to embark on my first Umrah journey, and choosing this travel group was one of the best decisions I made. I was initially recommended by my father-in-law, who had a positive experience with them during Hajj many years ago—and I can confidently say their service remains exceptional.
From the start, the group leaders were incredibly supportive and made themselves easily accessible. They guided us through all the necessary preparations with clarity and care, using Zoom calls, WhatsApp groups, and direct telephone contact to ensure we felt supported every step of the way.
Throughout the journey, they sent regular updates and were always available to answer questions. Their knowledge, experience, and the spiritual gems they shared truly enhanced the whole experience. What stood out most was their kindness and dedication—going above and beyond, especially for the more vulnerable members of the group.
I honestly can't fault them. May they continue to serve and support others on their sacred journeys.

I recently had the pleasure of using Lala Abdul Malik Khadam Al Hajjaj for my Umrah trip, and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of their service. From the initial booking to the completion of the journey, everything was handled professionally and with great care.
The travel arrangements, including flights and accommodations, were well-organised and tailored to our needs. The hotels were conveniently located near the Haram, making it easy to focus on worship without worrying about transportation.
One of the standout aspects was Nadeem Malik , our knowledgeable guide who accompanied us, ensuring we completed all rituals correctly and provided valuable insights about the significance of each step. This made the experience truly spiritual and fulfilling.
I highly recommend them to anyone planning their Umrah. They truly understand the importance of this journey and go above and beyond to make it a memorable experience.

Alhamdulillah, I had the most wonderful spiritual journey with Haji Nadeem (Lala Malik) and have come back praying I get another opportunity.
Although I booked last minute, everything was taken care of with efficiency and professionalism and nothing was too much for Haji Nadeem. I was also fortunate enough to share a room with him and despite there being some difficulties, barriers and challenges given COVID restrictions and that he had not been for 2 years owing to these restrictions and many things changing over time, I saw he overcame these issues through determination and perseverance and by the grace of Allah SWT.
In terms of arrangements and logistics, everything ran like clockwork and was clearly well organised. We had two days of Ziyarah's and we also had an impromptu Twin Peaks Challenge (Jabal Al-Nour and Jabal Al-Thowr) for the lads amongst us which was incredible.
It was my first time performing Umrah and the information and the package given beforehand was extremely helpful. It is worthwhile ensuring you have the required knowledge on how to perform Umrah prior to departing. We spent a week in Madina first which gave me (first timer) to further educate myself around the Umrah process and there was a lecture a few days before leaving for Makkah. Again, information was reiterated on the bus and most of the group stuck together and Haji Nadeem was able to guide us accordingly. I benefitted from his knowledge and experience which was shared in English and Urdu/Punjabi.
Thank you to all the brothers and sisters who made the experience and exceptional one. Thank you Haji Nadeem Malik for everything and hope Allah SWT blesses me with another opportunity to visit someday with my parents inshallah.

Alhamdulillah, Shukr Alhamdulillah, we have been blessed to travel with these guys on Hajj (Aug 2017) and Umrah (Jan 2022). Wow, What an amazing professional end to end service. They make things very easy for the hujjaaj with ongoing guidance (Urdu and English) and superb quality of hotels in excellent locations close to both Harams. What's more, is that they deliver all this at a budget price.
We have travelled with many operators for Hajj & Umrah, but by Allah, we can vouch that "Lala Abdul Malik Khadam Al Hajjaj" is one of the best we have had the honour to travel with. From the initial enquiries to the time that you arrive back, you get a friendly service, that is well planned and perfectly executed. Nothing is too much trouble, and they are very flexible. Amazing atmosphere whilst travelling and in and around the Sacred Cities.
Brothers Nadeem & Waseem are upholding their Late Father's (May Allah bless them with Jannat) legacy. The legacy of being the servants of the hujjaaj. There are many tour operators, but very few that place the needs of the hujjaaj over their profit margins. Alhamdulillah, "Lala Abdul Malik Khadam Al Hajjaj" is one of those operators that are true to their claim of being Khadims (Servants) to the hujjaaj.
This sentiment echoes across our fellow travellers. Everyone we spoke to mentioned the quality of the service. Alhamdulillah, I have overheard some saying "Brother Nadeem, Book me on the next Umrah/Hajj".
We make duas that Allah blesses Brother Nadeem and his team, Ameen.
May Allah allow us to travel repeatedly with "Lala Abdul Malik Khadam Al Hajjaj" and May Allah accept the efforts of the people working tirelessly at "Lala Abdul Malik Khadam Al Hajjaj", Ameen ya Rabbul Aalameen.
