A great hotel in all aspects and during Haj time with all the crowdness the service remained A -class. A great reason for such Review is also Ismail Omar the Restaurant manager who is a great example of work devotion and guest service. He has demonstrated many qualities in tough times how to handle the guests kindly with a smile, while dealing with a crisis effectively in no time leading his team in person working hand in hand. I have rarely seen such caliber in this area with such professional attitude. The restaurant and food are among the best things in hotel, however the hotel overall is of great service and value. Keep it up and take care of your good people. 👏👍

We were visiting from the USA, and our experience at Swissôtel Makkah was truly outstanding. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality we received — especially from Mr. Sakeer, the assistant manager, whom we had the pleasure of interacting with during the daily dining. He was incredibly welcoming, always checking in to see if everything was okay, asking if we needed anything, and offering to help in any way he could. His warm personality and attentiveness really made a difference and left a lasting impression on us. The buffet meals for both breakfast and dinner were phenomenal — so much variety, consistently delicious food, and the dessert bar was next-level. Even during the busiest times, there was always plenty to choose from, and the staff worked tirelessly to keep everything well-stocked and fresh. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the in-room Adhan system was such a thoughtful touch that enhanced the spiritual experience of our trip. And of course, the location — 0 meters from Masjid al-Haram — couldn’t have been more perfect. Even in the busiest foot traffic during Hajj season, I always appreciated the location of my hotel as I knew that in just a few more feet I would be home. Every part of our stay reflected high-quality service, genuine care, and great attention to detail. We’re so grateful for the hospitality we received and would definitely return again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is very convenient and easy to access. The rooms were clean, neat, and well-maintained. What impressed me the most was the staff — they were extremely helpful, friendly, and quick to respond to any requests. The booking process was smooth and fast. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great service.

My stay at Swissôtel Makkah was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the front desk agent Ahmed Al Amri, who was highly professional and made the check-in process smooth and quick. He was very responsive and answered all my questions with a smile, reflecting the excellent hospitality of the hotel. I stayed in room 1223, and when it comes to cleanliness and in-room service, I would like to give special thanks to Ammar Aref from the housekeeping department. He was very attentive to the room’s cleanliness on a daily basis, paying attention to the smallest details. His attitude was respectful and polite, and he was always ready to assist with anything I needed—always with a smile and prompt service. along with the high-level services, made this stay truly unforgettable. I highly recommend Swissôtel Makkah to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional hospitality.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Makkah during the last ten days of Ramadan, and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel’s service was exceptional, and the rooms were spotless. What made my stay truly memorable was a special surprise for Mother’s Day. My sister, who wasn’t with us, called the hotel from Jeddah to arrange a surprise cake for my mother and me. The customer service representative, Mr. Fares Alhazmi, handled the request with such grace and didn’t charge anything for it! The cake was beautiful, and the gesture was incredibly touching. I also want to extend my thanks to the hotel manager, Mr. Faisal, for his attentive service. The junior suite was spacious, comfortable, and offered great privacy with two bathrooms. Overall, an excellent stay

Our stay was more than we would ever expect at Swissotel. This place is beyond luxurious, starting with the details of the whole interior, the experience from arrival until checkout is absolute professional and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for more, Mr. Sualleh was the best host but a big well done to all the staff! Keep up this excellent work you do, and we are definitely looking forward to returning soon!

Great Experience!! A must visit- Spacious rooms and toilets. Good service. Close proximity to haram 😊 Wonderful and large variety of food in buffet. One thing which needs to be included is an extra bed for family of four. As sofa-cum-bed was not so comfortable. I hope management will look into this and will be resolved on my next visit 😜 Well done team!!!

Amazing, hospitality the reception went out of their way we stayed here for two nights and it was such a memorable experience. We wanted to check out at 2:30 pm because we had an intention to pray inside haram. Requested the room staff and they were more than happy to say ok. It was a different feeling here.

I don’t know how this hotel has a 4.5 stars.. this was so expensive for finding mold in the bathrooms (video and picture) the bed is not comfortable, there is a beep sound in every floor and they don’t turn off at night time ( video). And when we asked them to turn off they said it’s like this and they can’t do nothing. It beeps every 10-20 seconds.. you can’t sleep.. Also the windows are so dirty that you can’t see anything outside ( picture).. the minimum you should keep are things cleaned.. the safe was also locked and not working, so we didn’t want housekeeping since we had our passports in the room.. we contacted them, they could not fix and that’s it.. it’s broken. The inclusive dinner does not even include soda.. only water! I have nothing good to say. Even the short distance is not worth the money they charge. There are better options around. Sanitary and health services should be contacted for these molds.. True 5 star hotels would never be like this one. This hotel needs urgent updates.. And do you know what answer you get from them? Literally nothing! Any hotel that is 5 star would make sure things like these are working and cleaned and would at minimum provide 5 star Costumer service. I don’t know how they have a license to advertise they are 5 star hotel. That should be illegal

First I have to mention that The receptionist of this hotel Rania was the nicest receptionist I have ever encountered at a hotel. She was always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. She also was able to recommend places to get any type of meal that we needed as well. Second this is a luxurious hotel! It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. I was in town for a stressful event and coming back to this hotel’s room was very peaceful.

This hotel has a beautiful lobby and restaurant. The restaurant has a great mini breakfast buffet for kids too. The kids loved it. Special shout out to Mr Faizan who was very courteous and helpful at all times. However compared to the money being paid, the rooms are small and the bathroom even smaller. The shower area is so small that a claustrophobic person would never get in there. The bathroom really needs working on considering the fact that this is a 5 star hotel. And the service isn't great. They have so many guests checking in every day and I guess this makes them indifferent or too tired to be hospitable to each guest.

The location is great. The hotel has two entrances one to the Haram with special entrance and the other to the street where you find taxis are waiting you. All service was top notch. Quadruple room with Kaaba view was spacious and tidy with most essentials provided for a family of 5. The bed is big, I loved it the most. Breakfast food was incredible with variety of choices; top management was also around to make sure everything was okay. I would like to thank Mr. Rakan at the reception desk for his welcoming and attitude. Loved our stay here!

At this holy place we enjoyed the stay which made our journey memorable as it was just steps away from Haram. Amazing customer service neat and clean room. Restaurant staff and service for breakfast was outstanding with lot of tasty food varieties helped us to recover for more prayers without weakness. Met with restaurant manager with great personality and admired the service and food quality.

Very convenient location close to Haram, very helpful and friendly staff, we were given Haram faced room without any extra charges a lovely view. Room are big and especially the luggage box room is very handy as it keeps your room clear of suitcases. Bath and toilets are very clean and spacious. Only one area where there is room for improvement. The breakfast buffet has plenty of different items but if you are from South Asian subcontinent, then you will feel disappointed because mainly the dishes are either Arabic and some European. Also when it was busy, there was problem to find cutlery like teaspoons resulting in cold tea. Overall a very good hotel and recommended to visit again.
I strongly recommend booking in Swissotel. All my family love this hotel when we visit Mecca for Ummrah
Good priced , cleaned well and location is good , would be great to have more staff at the reception.

Stayed here in 2017, was travelling with elderly parents to perform Umrah. The hotel was just brilliant, the location was around 300 yards from the Haram and ideal for the elderly travelling to and from the Haram performing the Umrah Rituals. The cleanliness of the accommodation and facilities were next to none. We had a room facing the Kabbah, what an amazing sight that was! The buffet breakfast, “Well what can I say! The variety was amazing. I don’t think I could identify all the dishes they were so plentiful. If shopping is a key feature of you pilgrim then rest assured you won’t get a better hotel than this! The back exit goes straight into the clock tower mall. Hopefully will be blessed to visit again soon!

The best place with amazing staff. I have been there with my dad as he got sick while we were on the way to Makkah the minute we reached the hotel it was really crowded at the reciption but when l informed the staff member regarding his sickness they immediately arranged for the room and took great care of my dad this is the best quality of the staff. I have started respecting them more and wish them the best success ever.

Swissotel Makkah one of the Kaaba view Hotels. Good car parking with charge . Great cleaning services. Different types of Rooms. Big and large restaurant with open buffet. Great front office team. Staff are very helpful and supporting. Hotel at the level of Haram so you can directly go to Haram from its lobby and he is the only hotel having this advantage.

4 star hotel claiming 5 star. Reception Service is not exemplary, have to wait till 4 o clock although booking and advance payment has been paid. Rooms are clean and washrooms are OK. Room service needs improvement . Buffet taste and specifically entry process sucks as after charging so much money ,they force you to stand in long ques in order to identify at buffet hall entry. What are we... School kids? Highly not recommended
5 star rating cause its the closest hotel to the kaaba

If you're looking for a hotel that balances affordability with comfort, this is a great choice. The rooms were impressively clean, reflecting the care and attention to detail of the housekeeping staff. It's always a relief to step into a space that feels fresh and well-maintained. The location was another strong point—convenient and accessible Overall, the combination of good value, cleanliness, and a great location makes this hotel a solid option

This hotel was not good at all. Service was super slow, upon check in the receptionist was busy chatting away while customers are waiting. Had to call room service many times for water bottle and toilet roll as they said they would bring it up but they didn't. Once house keeping did come over they did a nice job in the room. Breakfast is super limited and tasted not great and we had a tummy bug right after. So they wouldn't refund us the breakfast and we couldn't eat that for the rest of our stay. I was so ready to cut my loses and book another hotel but we were only staying her for 4 nights so sabr was key here. The last day not a single house keeping came to take the bags down I had 3 large suitcase and 2 small ones... then before we go out the door a lobby guy helped us put the luggage in the car. Will ever come here again, never. The pictures are lies. The shower and toilet is not the same as shown in the pic and we had the executive room. Overall room layout wasn't bad but facilities were the worst I've seen. When showering the water goes into the whole bathroom. Toilet is a old style where the water rises. A lesson learned with this hotel. P.s it's 25mins walk to the rawda area gate 37

I initially paid 50% for my reservation after being notified via text message; due to construction/renovation that it had been moved to a different branch. Upon checking in, I made the remaining payment, only to discover that my reservation had been moved again. Fortunately, I was upgraded to a better room. However I was moved to their location that had going contraction of my talking metal sheets right accross from the hotel. There was content noice for a period of 5 days. I later requested an extension of my stay from March 8th-17th to April 1st, specifically mentioning that I wanted to be present for Eid. Before making the payment, I confirmed that my average daily rate would remain the same and that my checkout date would be honored. However, upon reviewing my payment, I discovered that I had paid almost 2000 SAR, Eid was not included in my stay, and my checkout date was incorrectly set for March 31st. Extremely disappointed in their service, the response time and the way they communicate things. No matter how many times you ask them for a manager, they can never reach a manager. The manager is never available in this hotel actually the managers don’t even respond back to any request that you make one of the worst management team ever. Despite bringing this to their attention three days ago, the issue remains unresolved. I have left multiple messages however I would appreciate if somebody can look into this and resolve it .

It’s a simple hotel , clean and staff are nice. Room: We were upgraded to the executive floor by the receptionist , we asked for a room with a view and she did. Room is very spacious with a nice view. It was clean tidy. Food : Very clean , different types of dishes As soon as the dish is empty , they quickly refill it. I wish they had more fresh fruits cut up but overall I am very satisfied. If you ask for anything, they deliver it quickly. I would highly recommend this hotel since the female prayer area is right in front of the hotel. I hope the hotel would keep up their level of cleanliness and hygiene. And focus on that more.

I stayed in the hotel with my family for one night only and we had a very rich experience for the hospitality and service from the staff. Rooms had 10/10 cleaning, comfortable beds, very cool AC, and fast internet. The breakfast and dinner buffet had a lot of continental food varieties, juices, and coffee. We really enjoyed our stay in this Turkish styled hotel.

I stayed here for around 2 nights. The service from the two helper staff downstairs was excellent and they were very very helpful. The room was ok and hygiene was kept to high standards. And the location was excellent. There wasn’t enough variety in the breakfast buffet and the food warmth wasn’t also kept to high standards. The service from the reception staff was not pleasant as our shower head in the room wasn’t working and after telling them twice the problem still wasn’t resolved. So we unfortunately had one day we’re we couldn’t shower properly which is very disappointing. Other than that the stay was decent. Hence why the three stars.

The hotel was very clean, always smelled nice. Check in was very smooth. The location to Al Haram was excellent. The only reason for 4 stars is the room service. We had to ask several times for them to come and clean the room. Maybe if we would have complained it would have been done straight away but given the place we were in we did not feel like complaining. Also the lifts were quite slow during prayer times.

It was very clean and surprisingly spacious. The 4 bedded room was beautiful with its own closet room and the amenities were more than sufficient. The buffet breakfast was amazing and they had someone cook omlette to your liking in front of you. I think next time I will book with them directly without any third parties.

Front desk, servers, porters, everyone was nice, helpful and welcoming. I requested a delayed check-out and I was able to do so without any hiccups and very little fee.

Excellent stay and managed to get early check in at 1pm. Not to far from ladies entrance gate 13 / 322 of the Great Mosque. Not too crowded area. Good room with coffee tea and expresso machine. Breakfast suitable for the Turkic people - that us why the name is Le Bosphorus I think.

Only good thing is the location otherwise the hotel is not worth the money. The bathroom is very worse the commode is filled with water and the shower water comes out to the whole bathroom. Water pressure is very low and the rooms is too cold. Even if you turn off the AC I believe they have a central cooling system. Wouldn't recommend if you are looking forward for a comfortable stay.

Lifts not working, we had to come down from 10th floor using stairs along with luggage. Even some old people had to come down using stairs. Even didn't fix the stairs issue despite informing the reception staff. One of my friends room AC was not functional, hotel staff took one hour but couldn't fix the AC, so gave another room on another floor. No water bottles in the room. Cleaners and room servants least bothered. Don't care about guests services.

Very fast check in and check out process. I thank to the reception staff, she gave me room with Haram view (just ask for it). Walking distance from hotel to Masjid Nabawi gate is around 300 meters Room is good and clean but not wide enough, elevator access also good Food at the restaurant also good (dinner 150 riyal for 2 persons) Parking slot is limited (paid), for free park just opposite the hotel (park with your own risk)

We travelled to Palestine with Zaarvel during Easter…. I cannot fault the experience! Alhumdulillah it was not our first time so we decided to spend more time in the haram and Skip some of the ziyaarah’s, the brother was so flexible and accommodating…. Always at hand if ever needed him for anything! Before we left i found his vids on the little things like plugs amd sockets and money exchange tips really handy! These are details that are small yet significant so he covered it all for us just so that we dont forget! Once there, he provided us with trusted places to shop, exchange money etc and some other visits we did too that were humbling!! You cannot get this when travelling alone! Brother went out of his way to make the stay as comfrtble as possible not just for adults but the kids too! And the trolley for the luggage at the end of to the trip was icing on the cake! Jzk for an unforgettable experience… i am already planning my next trip! ❤️

This was my first time travelling to Al Aqsa and with Zaarvel, I have been to many destinations and this was by far one of the best trips. From the very beginning brother Numayar looked after us and stayed with us until we got through the checkpoints at Tel Aviv. We were understandably very nervous but we soon realised we really had nothing to worry about. Everything was organsied perfectly from the transport to hotel to the very educational tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and have already recommended to others. We would definitely travel with Zaarvel again.

Visiting Al-Aqsa was honestly one of the most emotional and spiritual things I’ve ever experienced. From praying in the blessed compound to the amazing excursions organised by Zaarvel, every part of the trip reminded me how powerful and deep our history is as Muslims. The itinerary was so well thought out — I loved how the guides mixed in historical facts with spiritual lessons, whether we were at the Mount of Olives, Masjid Umar, or visiting the tombs of the Prophets. Praying in those places was something else… it really hit the heart. Alhamdulillah, my group was also amazing — supportive, kind, and filled with beautiful souls that made the journey even more special. This trip wasn’t just sightseeing — it was healing. I left with a heart that honestly just wants to return again, inshaAllah. May Allah let us all visit Masjid Al-Aqsa, protect its people, and keep our hearts connected to it. Ameen.

I recently had the honour of going on a Zaarvel tour to Palestine and honestly, it was one of the most eye opening and emotional experiences of my life. From the moment we landed to the moment we left, everything was organised with so much care and thought. The whole trip ran smoothly, the tour guides were brilliant, and you could tell they were genuinely passionate about sharing the truth and history of Palestine. This trip really changed me. Before coming, I never took the boycott seriously. I’d hear about it now and then, but I would just brush it off thinking it doesn’t really matter. But after seeing the reality with my own eyes, even just the small day to day struggles the Palestinians go through, I realised how important it actually is. What we saw was only a tiny part of what they deal with every single day. It broke my heart and it opened my eyes. From now on, In Sha Allah, I will do my part and take the boycott seriously. What Zaarvel offered was more than just a tour. It was a journey that touched the heart and soul. Every stop, every moment, felt like it had real purpose. It was clear that the team behind this trip put in a lot of effort and that they truly care about the cause. I’m honestly so grateful I got the chance to be part of it. This wasn’t just about seeing places. It was about learning, reflecting and understanding the deeper truth. I would 100 percent recommend Zaarvel to anyone who wants a real, honest and powerful experience in Palestine. May Allah SWT reward the whole team for everything they’ve done.

Blessed to have had the opportunity to visit the Holy Land with Zaarvel! Amazing trip with a well organised tour operator who is experienced with this destination. Excellent communication and guidance pre and during the tour by Numayar who made the whole journey seamless. Zaarvel arranged excellent local guides from Jerusalem and their knowledge was outstanding providing great depth to the tours. Everyone should try to visit Palestine if they have the opportunity and show solidarity and support to the people of Al Quds. Zaarvel is highly recommended to anyone wishing to embark on this amazing cultural and spiritual journey!
