Stay away at all costs. Very very dirty. The reviews on here are lies. No fresh coffee for breakfast. Charging 25 sar for a coffee at the coffee shop. Found a cockroach in my room. Carpet is extremely dirty. About 15 min walk to haram. Very overpriced hotel. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Cleaning staff tried their best, and was very nice. But no use when the hotel carpet is very dirty and smells. This hotel needs to buy new carpets.

I had a pleasant 2-day stay at Makarem Ajyad Makkah Hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing the perfect place to relax after a long day.
Breakfast at the Zamzam Buffet was a highlight of my stay. The variety of dishes was impressive, and the service from the waitstaff was excellent. The dining area was spotless, and the team maintained a high level of hygiene while being friendly and welcoming throughout.
The lobby was a bit crowded at times, but it’s understandable given the hotel’s prime location and popularity. However, the complimentary station of snacks and drinks in the lobby was a fantastic touch. A big thanks to the chef and the team for this thoughtful gesture.
it truly enhanced the experience.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, excellent service, and attention to detail.

Here's a review about my stay at the Ajyad Makareem Makkah hotel:
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ajyad Makareem Makkah hotel, and I must say it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. The hotel's location is superb, with only a 5-minute walk to the Masjid al-Haram gate, making it extremely convenient for performing Umrah.
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly Rofiq ,Tofazzul, and Saiful Islam , the housekeeping staff member, who stood out for his exceptional warmth and hospitality. I truly appreciated the service provided by Rofiq and the rest of the staff.
The hotel rooms were also spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere during my stay. The facilities provided were comprehensive and adequate.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Ajyad Makareem Makkah hotel and hope to have the opportunity to stay again on my next Umrah journey. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to perform Umrah or visit Makkah.

This hotel was bad. I have no idea where they got their 5-star rating from.
The only good thing is the bedding. Everything else was disappointing. The rooms are old, the common areas aren’t very clean, and the reception is chaotic—I waited almost an hour for my room. There’s no parking, the bathrooms smell bad when using water. At breakfast, flies are all around you while eating.
For the high price, I deeply regret not choosing the Hyatt Regency next door, which looked much better for a similar rate. I hesitated until the last minute… Definitely not a hotel I recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The walking distance to Masjid Haram was convenient and not too tiring, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained.
However, I would like to suggest that the management provide more staff to assist with luggage during check-in and check-out.
When I checked out, I requested assistance three times, but unfortunately, no one came to help. This was quite inconvenient, especially for guests with heavy luggage.
I hope the hotel improves its service in this regard to enhance the guest experience.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days during Hajj time. The food was amazing. They had different cuisines and good quality food. Cleaning service was good as well. Employee Muhammad Saeed took our feedback and provided the food that we asked for. Everyone has good manners and I would give it a 5/5 experience. Also the location is so close to the Haram so it is very convenient to go their often.

I came here in group. Luckily my room is the best one while the others in my group were put in the other building (old building, behind the new one). The condition at the old building was chaos (the table & chair arranged like warehouse, and also no bed at the other room). Terrible. But the condition in my room was perfect! So i was confused to rate this hotel 😂😅

From the hotel, Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport is approximately 22km away. Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport is approximately 22km away by road. There's plenty to do nearby, with Taiba Commercial Center, Masjid Al Ghamamah and Al Masjid an Nabawi (The Prophet’s Mosque) all within a short distance. A very disappointing experience, in terms of looks and feel the hotel is nice. The lobby always smells nice when entering and there are several lifts to get you to the required floor. The biggest disappointment has been the actual rooms, the electricity has been deliberately wired in a way to make it hard for people to sleep or charge their devices. This means in order to have power to the sockets and charge your devices, you will need to keep the rooms lights on, obviously this makes it so uncomfortable after a long day in the masjid, you just want to come back and relax with just one lamp on and devices on charge to communicate with your loved ones. We also had several issues with our bathroom, with clogged shower & sink drain, and toilet flushing issues. To top it off we had some water leak in the bathroom from the roof, this had me worried as I did not know if this water is clean or not, and could it get mixed electrical wiring and cause a fire. This is clearly not a 5 star hotel more like a 3/4 star. The hotel chain should be ashamed of making things difficult for the guests of Allah, instead of making things easier. Electrical charging points should be a standard feature in any hotel chain, never mind one that classes itself as 5 star. The beds are smaller than expected, especially when compared to the single beds we had at Pullman Zam Zam Makkah. The location is great as it is only 3-4 mins to get to the masjid and is ideal for ladies as it closer to their entry points by gate 339. Unfortunately I would NOT use this hotel again, purely because of the deliberate inconvenience it has caused with its intentional electrical wiring design.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was booked for 3 people and all three beds were comfortable. The location was great, you cross the road and the woman’s gate is right there which was super convenient. Plenty of shops around for food/shopping. Breakfast was okay, could be better in terms of variety but not that bad. The hotel is easily accessible for uber which made travelling further out convenient. The staff were lovely and helpful. I would recommend this hotel especially if you are travelling with a lot of women.

While my stay wasn’t bad, I was shocked to discover that the hotel used my name to post a detailed positive review on Booking.com—something I never wrote! (Screenshot of the review they wrote is attached here). This is completely unacceptable and has never happened to me before. It raises serious concerns about how they maintain such a high rating (9 on Booking.com) despite being a fairly average hotel. If this is how they operate, I cannot recommend them.

This place is inside the ring road. Attitude of reception and security is bad. The property insists on payment even if you have the option of free cancellation after so many days claiming they don't have the option of getting the payment using the credit card. They agree to provide you with free parking and turn a deaf ear once you reach. Housekeeping people are dedicated to their work. Walkability to the masjid and to the female praying area are a huge bonus. Asian food options outside the property are too bad.

Pros: Close to Alharam and the food was nice.
Cons: " we can't do anything currently since we are at max. capacity so deal with that for couple of days" is the standard response of the reception staff for any problem.. The room was small and elevators are not efficient so if you are not a fan of using stairs then this place is not for you..

The rooms don't have charger outlets and for those which are having lamps, if you put your charger it will stop charging once you switch off the lights.
Ongoing noises coming from the AC vents, room door malfunction noise, water pipe bubbling from the toilet, it's like you are sleeping in a haunted hotel, once you go out of the room it looks good.
The buffet was good, but not authentic cuisine, they had hummus which was not atlal authentic, seemed like you are eating something else .
Like who goes wrong with the humus when the chef is arab .
Overall food was good .

This hotel doesn’t deserve a single star. Very old furniture and beds squeaking every time someone moves. Bad smell in the bathroom and room wasn’t clean when we got there. Rather than changing the room the kept us 1 hour waiting. The only good thing is the location to Haram but better avoid it as there are plenty of other hotels in the area. Don’t be tempted by the pictures and the price. Not worth it at all.

All I can do is give London prestige and Siraj Bhai a five star rating. We booked a tailor made package for Umrah during the summer holidays at very short notice. Siraj booked us an exceptional package that helped meet all our requirements at a very affordable price. The whole trip from the minute we landed in jeddah to coming home everything went well and was organised very efficiently. The hotels were as described with great service, clean rooms and excellent breakfast. The hotels were close to all the local amenities. Will definitely be booking with London Prestige again and will recommend to anyone looking to book an umrah package.
