Very good choice for Hajj & Umrah trips as location of this hotel is close to Haram and even in future when third Saudi expansion finishes , this hotel will be on one of new entrances to Haram.
Very helpful & supportive staff from various departments.
Very good restaurants & food.
Very good rooms and housekeeping.
I would like to thank everyone of staff and especially Daloar Hosen from housekeeping as I interacted with him on daily basis for keeping our room clean & tidy.

We booked this hotel for me and family (12 of us). Its a 5min walk to the haraam. The service was excellent and the rooms were super clean, they would clean it every day or whenever you ask them to. They are professional and kind. Always holding the doors and greeting you. They even open lifts for you! I would recommend this hotel with my eyes closed. Thank you so much, I would definitely book again in the future in sha Allah ☺️

Outstanding Service at the Chocolate Lounge!!
I had a wonderful experience at the Chocolate Lounge in the Sheraton Makkah Jabal Al Kaaba Hotel, thanks to Abdul Majeed. His customer service was exceptional. He went above and beyond to help us arrange our transportation from Makkah to Marina, making everything seamless and stress-free.
The food and drinks were equally impressive! The tea and coffee were fantastic, and the croissants and pastries were a true delight.
If you’re in Makkah, don’t miss out on this gem! Highly recommended for both the service and the delicious treats!

I stayed here for 16 days and the service is beyond 5 star. Everything from the reception, to housekeeping, the team at the Lounge on floor 12 ( Nashwa, Amr and team) went over and beyond with outstanding service. I felt more than at home. A special thanks to Loujain and the duty manager I spoke to for accommodating my stay and doing everything they could to make it worth while. It is close to the haram( 5-10 min). I will definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back, Insha'Allah.

Breakfast was great. Location was great. Nothing negative.
Due to construction, the bridge that leads directly to the masjid is closed. It would be unfair to fault the hotel for this, but the detour is a little lengthy and should be noted.

Here are some pros and cons of the Sheraton Makkah:

Cons:

Prices can be high
Some rooms can be noisy
Overall, the Sheraton Makkah is a great choice for travelers who are looking for a luxurious and convenient hotel in Mecca. The hotel is well-located, has spacious rooms with stunning views, and offers excellent service. However, it can be crowded during peak seasons and prices can be high.
Here are some tips for staying at the Sheraton Makkah:
Book your stay in advance: The hotel is very popular, so it is best to book your stay in advance, especially if you are traveling during peak seasons.
Request a room with a view: The rooms with views of the Grand Mosque are in high demand, so it is best to request one when you book your stay.
Be prepared for crowds: The hotel can be crowded during peak seasons, so be prepared for long lines at the restaurants and the spa.
Bring a water bottle: The hotel does not provide free water bottles, so it is best to bring your own.
Wear comfortable shoes: You will be doing a lot of walking around the hotel and the Grand Mosque, so it is best to wear comfortable shoes.
I hope this helps!

Everything was perfect and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived at the property, the attentive staff greeted me with warm, friendly smiles. Big thanks to all of them especially: Rageh Abdullah, Security Supervisor, Mehdi Al Hudhali and all the wonderful restaurant staff. The hotel's proximity to the Haram made its location really excellent for me. In addition, the presence of a bridge connecting the hotel to the new expansion of the campus increased the factor of convenience and ease of access.

I will start with the hotel staff. They are the most welcoming I have ever experienced in my history of traveling. They are always keen to help, always smile and are always ready to step an extra mile. The location of the hotel is in a walking distance to the Haram. You need to make sure to leave a bit early because the area is super crowded. The breakfast is decent but I would love to see more healthy choices. The rooms are super clean and as expected from Sheraton.

Modern and comfortable hotel with plenty of elevators so you don't have to wait long even during busy periods. Breakfast was good. We had breakfast at the back up restaurant on 2 out of 3 days when the main one was full. Both were almost the same except filter coffee was a bit slow to be refilled. Special thanks to our 11th floor housekeeper Mr Saju who was kind and helpful. The connecting bridge was not operational. Walking back to the hotel requires negotiating a steep path at the end.

Good hotel. ~5 minute walk from haram. Good quality rooms.
The bad:
Less than ideal experience. As an ambassador, they gave me a good upgrade, but not before telling me 7 times about the sacrifices they had to make to make it happen
Water pressure in the bathroom shower was weak
Elevator system is really suboptimal, expect to wait a lot in peak times
They take ~60 minutes to respond to Marriott app messages
Finally, they couldn't properly assist in a simple task of helping me find a taxi to go to the airport.
Good overall but will try Marriott Jabal Omar next time

Couple of minutes walk from gate 339, not far from ladies entrance.
In a quiet part of the north east quadrant basically on the border of the first ring road. Currency exchange, other shops nearby.
Hotel buffet is on level 2, food selection and temperatures ok.
Hotel clean, bathrooms could do with a update.
We booked two rooms via our agent, agent only gave us one reference number, despite giving the 2 x lead guest names, receptionists could not find the second room on their system which I found odd, I then had to get HCN numbers from agent to get both of our rooms despite both rooms being booked in my name and another family members name.
Some language issues with receptionists as their English was limited. I was having date samples delivered and I asked the reception staff in english, have any date samples been delivered for room 109? Neither receptionist could understand what I was saying? They thought i wanted to book another date !
Lucky for us, there were Bangladeshi workers so I asked them in bengali and they said they put samples in our room.
Hotel seemed clean otherwise, no pests were visible.

A great service by staff, Breakfast staff are amazing. The options for breakfast was amazing. Nice spacious restaurant. They also offer lunch and dinner which looked just as amazing. But didn’t realise until the end of our stay! But great food options for my young son also.
Staff were very prompt and used the laundry service which was excellent for a small fee.
Cleaning staff are amazing and helped empty bins when requested.
It is a very well run hotel and would definitely stay there again with my family next time we come to Medina in sha Allah.
Thank you for a great stay!

The room is small but we are ok since we spend most of our time outside. The food at the Buffet has a lot of varieties and plenty. The F&B staff, including the Chefs were all friendly.
Our room overlooking Masjid Imam Bukhari. So blessed.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. When I stepped onto the hotel room, it smelt of smoke, and you could tell the cleaners tried to cover it up with light spray. The smoke left over smells on all of the beds including pillows, even though there’s a sign on every door that has a no smoking sign. I have a family of 6, and we wanted enough for each, but instead 1 of the room has 3 beds, and the other has 2. Dust is left everywhere and there are prints of fingerprints and white stuff everywhere. Even worst than this, somethings you can’t even eat breakfast due to the amount of people and how sqaushed it is. The WiFi barely does anything even though in every room it says ‘enjoy free high speed internet.’ The only thing they actually care about is the look of the elevators, but they’re also really bad due to the smallness and how much people enter, with only 5 lifts available. I am very disappointed with this hotel, and the money was not worth any of it AT ALL.

Very good experience. When we arrived, couldn't find change anywhere for the taxi. When we asked the concierge Bilal he went asking local shops, when that failed he gave his own money and said to pay him back later in our stay. The receptionist were very helpful as were all the staff. The lifts are very well laid out which help make using them really quick without large queues. Taking into account the quality of most hotels in madinah. Muna Kareem was very laid out and designed really well. It was a 5 min walk to the ladies section and was very close to other amenities like the laundry services and shops. Would definitely recommend to others.

I’m someone who goes to top notch hotels such as Waldorf Astoria , Marriot Executive and even the Ritz! However this hotel came with a package going for Umrah , as it didn’t come with a choice and it was “5 stars†I had no issue. Little did I know , when I entered I thought that the reception was very small with weird blue lighting that makes it look like a fast food restaurant but that pales in comparison with the rooms and hotel service. Rooms had peeling paints with clashing colored walls that didn’t go together and bathrooms filled up with hair. Pillows (as you can see in the pic) are hard as if it had been stuffed with rocks , who is going to sleep on there?!? As I’m writing this review my neck is still hurting…
Then we order room service for milk for my kid at 9:30… how can a bloody 5 star hotel tell you that they ran out of milk?!? On top of that they don’t have water at times and when you call them for the basic necessities such as shampoo or conditioner they come just three hours later WITH NOTHING IN THEIR HANDS!!! asking what I want despite me already saying it!! All staff members barely speak English and act so rude when you tell them you don’t speak it
I would upload images but they don’t allow it
P.S. the Wi-Fi sucks so make sure to buy a sim before entering or a mini Wi-Fi box

I checked in the hotel for next four nights. Was worried after reading the comments of other previous guests of the hotel. Yes, the breakfast place is absolutely not meant to handle all the guests in this hotel. All floors have twenty rooms. The hotel Ground, Mezzanine and 14 floors over that. It has four basement floors as well. Yes, the elevators are slow and not according to large number of hotel guests. The hotel is otherwise comfortable, the staff is good. Room size and the facilities are good. It is not more than 3 minutes walk from the Masjid e Nabawi.

I was recommended to use Crown Travel from a friend who had utilised the services several years ago. I travelled from Preston to Bradford to meet with the most accommodating Jawad of Crown Travel and blindly used his services hoping for the best, the best is exactly what I got!
I was looking to book an Umrah package; however, I wanted this tailored to my own preference. I provided the hotels I wanted, board preference, airline provider, dates, transfer requirements and airport preferences.
Jawad came back to me with exactly what I requested and I went ahead, of course the proof of the pudding was actually embarking on the Journey to ensure all had gone to plan. The transfers from Jedda Airport - Makkah, Makkah - Medina, Medina - Medina Airport were absolutely seamless. Top quality transfer service used, safe, efficient and very professional.
Hotels and flights were as agreed and no issues when travelling or upon arrival at the hotels.
Without a doubt a travel agent who has many years of experience with such trips and has perfected the very same. Would definitely recommend Crown Travel to those who are looking to carry out Umrah for a smooth, no hassle trip!!!

I went on Hajj with Crown Travel on the 4-week package, from the 15th of August to the 11th of September 2018. This was a shifting package, so initially I and the group stayed at Aziziyah until the Hajj started. The Aziziyah accommodation was very good, the food (Asian-style) was better than anywhere else on the trip, it was a basic accomodation but the rooms were spacious, air condition was provided in the rooms and in the lobby there was Wi-Fi available. When moving to Mina, we were escorted in a group which made the process a lot easier and calmed our nervous. Water and drinks were provided in large coolers outside the tents and was continuously topped-up. Food was provided throughout the day from the MOH, and also out of courtesy from Crown. In Arafat the marquee was very large and air-conditioning and drinks and food was provided also. After Muzdalifah, we had to walk back to Mina as that was one of the busiest days and it was faster to walk then go on a coach. The people who opted for the coaches arrived a few hours later. The coaches provided by the MOH were of a decent quality. After we had completed our Hajj and stoned the Jamaraats, we stayed in the hotel for two more days before moving to Makkah. In Makkah we stayed in the Clock Tower, in a hotel named Mövenpick, it was at an exceedingly good 5-star quality and it was only a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the Masjid al-Haram. Food tokens were given to the group to use at a restaurant named Arabian Taste, which was within the Clock Tower itself. I preferred this, as there was a lot of variety, from Asian and Arab food to grilled and fried food. The only issue we had with the hotel was with the cards to let us in the room, which was rectified by going to the reception staff and getting new cards. Overall, the stay in Makkah was nice and I would recommend it. In Medina we stayed in a hotel named Leader Al-Muna Kareem Hotel, which was a very fancy hotel, and from what others have told me after coming back, is the nicest looking hotel in Medina. It was situated two streets away from the Masjid so it only took me 5-minutes to walk. Also, the first gate you enter is near the Women’s area so it makes it a lot easier for them. The rooms in the hotel were smaller than the ones in Makkah but were still at a very high standard compared to other hotels that I have stayed in. A buffet-style system was used to provide breakfast and dinner. There was a lot of variety and the food was of a high-quality. The only issue at this hotel was the lifts, as when we arrived in the hotel in the evening, around 200 other people from different groups were checking in also which was unpreventable. Due to this, it was very difficult to access the lifts, however after a few days a lot of people left and so the lifts were less busy. Ziyarat tours were given in Makkah and Medina which were brilliant. The highlight of the trip was Mufti Siraj Saleh saab who guided us throughout the trip and gave us spiritual insights and reminders which inspired and motivated us to increase in our ibaadah and have reverence of the places we were visiting. To conclude, the trip, was very well organised and everything that was explained to us in the initial seminar took place. I would like to thank Jawad and everyone at Crown Travel and would highly recommend others to put their trust in them and rest assured that you will be taken care of and have a life-changing experience.

Special mention to Jawad Bhai from CT, who really took the time to explain everything and look after us as he was going with the group also, very well organised.
