Stayed here December 2023. I would not class this as a 5-star hotel at all, maybe 3-star. Our room was spacious and fairly clean, and that's about it. We were lucky to have a partial view of Masjid Al Haram and the Kaaba which was sheer luck. Now for the negatives - the bathroom was highly questionable, it is in desperate need of renovation and had an odd smell. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. The reception staff are definitely racist and arrogant, they threw our passports across the desk at us during check-in - the 'man' would not even look at us or speak to us directly, he addressed the concierge who then came to speak to us and treated us with respect. 4-star for service is simply because of the absolutely amazing housekeeping staff - may Allah ease and rectify all of their affairs and bless them abundantly with a million times more than what they have, ameen - they made our stay so comfortable and were attentive and welcoming, nothing we requested was too much for them. This hotel is only worth staying at because of the location, the amazing housekeeping staff, and the shopping mall located inside the building.

The service is pathetic. The stay at this hotel was ruined by the quality of the service. The bathrooms are almost unusable due to the smell and it is very difficult to get your room cleaned Please avoid this hotel if you value cleanliness. We requested several times for our room to be cleaned only to have it cleaned after 3 days. If you are reading this review, please consider another hotel.

The food at the buffet is not good at all. I recommend going to the food courts below the lobby floor, which has much better food.
However, the cleaner stationed at my floor is really really nice and welcoming. I believe his name is ' Al Ameen' or something similar. I stayed at level 3 and really enjoyed his service. Be sure to look for him when staying at level 3!

I would not recommend staying at this hotel despite its 5-star rating. The service and amenities did not meet even a 3-star standard. The elevator service was poor, often requiring a 15-minute wait. The washroom was not clean, and the beds were very uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a 3-hour power outage with no backup power supply. Overall, the experience was far from satisfactory.

Maximum of 3 Stars has this hotel. Not 4 and definitively not 5! But the price they take is for a great 5 star hotel! The best from this hotel is the location. The rooms have dirty carpets and old furniture. The smell is not good. Other people are very loud and smoking. You don't see staff in this hotel. 1 cleaning person and 1 at reception, that's it. One star is for cleaning the room daily and one for the location.
You collect so much for the rooms, change at least this old furniture and bath! Let the people get the value for the money they pay that they feel they stay in a 5 star hotel! I will definitely not recommend this hotel and avoid it for the next visit.

We stayed at Al-Aqeeq Hotel in Madinah for the last 10 days of Ramadan 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable—just a street away from Masjid-e-Nabawi, which made access to prayers extremely convenient. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional—gracious, helpful, and always professional. Our room was clean and well-serviced daily. While some sound from the adjacent room was occasionally audible and elevators got busy during peak hours, these were minor compared to the overall comfort. The food service was a standout—abundant, delicious, and beautifully managed during Suhoor and Iftar. The kitchen and wait staff deserve special praise for their attentiveness and hospitality. This hotel delivers both luxury and spiritual ease, and we are grateful for the care shown during such a blessed time. Highly recommended for anyone visiting during Ramadan or any time of year.

I recently stayed at Hotel Aqeeq in Medina, and while the overall stay was pleasant, the check-in process was very disappointing.
I had requested early check-in by emailing and trying to contact the hotel in advance, but received no response at all. When I arrived around 10 a.m., I was tired and exhausted from travel. The receptionist told me the room was available, clean, and ready—but I couldn’t check in unless I paid an additional 350 riyals. I explained that I had tried to confirm early check-in beforehand, and i was with my elderly but nobody replied. Still, they insisted I pay.
After some back and forth, and only when I pushed and argued, the receptionist spoke to the manager. Eventually, they allowed me to check in for free, but it took a long time and felt unnecessarily difficult .
the room itself was excellent—spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The location was good. The overall ambiance of the hotel was good, and even the lift/elevator was smooth and well-maintained. Everything about the stay was great, except for the check-in experience.
I hope the management improves communication and customer service at the front desk. A better welcome would have made a big difference.

I have recently stayed in Hotel Aqeeq with my elderly mum. The location is perfect for its close proximity to female prayer area in Masjid-al-Nabawi as well as shopping and nice and clean food options.
On top of that, staff here have been exceptionally helpful and kind. Starting from help with the luggage at the arrival to waiting staff at the breakfast area as well as the concierge and lobby staff providing helpful information with local knowledge and advice.
The breakfast options were superb.
Only downside is the shower area as the water overflows after each shower. Hope the authorities will fix this soon.
Otherwise, definitely would love to come back here again and I’ll recommend this hotel to my friends and families.

My parents and I came to Madinah for 3 days. We stayed at Al Aqeeq Madinah Hotel, and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The pancakes were made fresh, and the proportions were great. The fruits were also top quality, especially the sweet melon. The rooms had a cozy view of the other hotels nearby. The amenities such as the sewing kit and slippers were very useful, and were provided abundantly. The Masjid al Nabawi was very close-by and easy to walk to for daily prayers. The room service food for dinner was excellent, and my top highlight for that was the fettuccini spaghetti. The rooms were slightly small, and the bathroom was luxury. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. It was a wonderful stay. The service was also great, and room-service was also brought on time. This hotel deserves 5 stars!

This hotel is extortionate for the services they offer. We paid over £3400 for two rooms for five nights. The location is great as it's near the Haram however the place is definitely not suitable for people with disabilities. The toilets have no handles on the side for getting up and the most of the furniture in the Badr Suite was old and dilapidated. There was no attempt by the staff to help assist us to deal with the issue of a wheelchair access either. The safe took two days to be reset in order that it could be used. The staff at the reception were not very friendly or approachable either.

The bad: There was a window that didn’t close and brought in a lot of noise from the AC, but it was partially fixed in our second day. The furniture is outdated and wobbly in some cases. The elevators are too slow as they are overloaded. Sometimes I had to wait around 10 mins.

During my recent stay at the Al Aqeeq Madinah Hotel, I had both positive and negative experiences. Firstly, the hotel's location was very convenient as it was located close to the Madina Al Munawarman Mosque and there were plenty of stores nearby. This made it easy for me to explore the area during my stay.
The hotel's restaurant was also impressive, offering a variety of international food options and most of it was delicious. However, I was disappointed with the front staff of the restaurant. Despite having a package for three people, which included breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they kept mistaking the number of guests in my party. This happened every time we entered the restaurant (and we stayed there for 4 nights) which was frustrating. On the other hand, the hotel's lobby had a small Starbucks store, which was a nice touch.
I particularly enjoyed the comfort of the hotel's beds. They were soft and comfortable, and I was able to fall asleep immediately upon lying down. The hotel's size was not too big, the elevator was small and not very effective. This caused a bit of inconvenience, especially during rush hour, as I had to wait a while for the elevator.
Feel free to visit my Instagram profile @febtasty for further exploration of my experiences.

It falls short of my expectations, despite being a "five-star" hotel. The water pressure in the toilet is low, and one of the sinks is broken. The food is acceptable but not impressive, and there are only a few options available.
The housekeeping staff is unquestionably suspicious. He entered our room without our permission, despite the fact that we had displayed a "do not disturb" sign.
This will undoubtedly be my first and last stay here.

Check in was a little disappointing as the staff were not at all welcoming. The rest of the stay was amazing. Cleaning staff and waiters were really great to deal with. It is very close to the haram. Breakfast, lunch and supper was really great. Amazing selection at the buffet. You will save a lot of time eating at the hotel instead of queuing at fast food restaurants or restaurants in the mall. The rooms were not exactly 5 star but on a whole a really awesome place. I would recommend this place and would stay here again.

It is very bad hotel and does not deserve 5 stars hotel, I stayed here for 3 days so far and no one come to clean the rooms, i called room service from reception i got passed to them, they didn’t understand a word of English ( and you call you self 5 star) The bed smell very bad and itch all the night. The bathrooms water supply has no pressure. I spoke to room service ask for towels and toiletries and it’s been over 2 hours and still not received them. The reception desk employee have so much attitude. They look down on you. A budget hotel will do a better job for the service. I tried to pay for the hotel prior to me coming but they didn’t take the money out my account. When i got to the hotel they charged me extra because of the exchange rate. Plus they never said anything about tax being paid. Absolutely scam artist.

The hotel is less than 5 min walk from Haram. The room is spacious. However, the cleanliness was not as expected, especially the bathroom - given the high price. The bathroom ceiling and the toilet needed repairing. And, the most annoying thing is that you cannot open the windows. We just came out of a pandemic and no one allowed to open the windows to circulate the air. My whole family got sick because of this issue.

All I can do is give London prestige and Siraj Bhai a five star rating. We booked a tailor made package for Umrah during the summer holidays at very short notice. Siraj booked us an exceptional package that helped meet all our requirements at a very affordable price. The whole trip from the minute we landed in jeddah to coming home everything went well and was organised very efficiently. The hotels were as described with great service, clean rooms and excellent breakfast. The hotels were close to all the local amenities.
