‎Extremely Disappointed And Humilated– Avoid if You’re from South Asia ‎ ‎Despite having a confirmed non-refundable booking through Agoda with a valid visa and passport, the hotel denied us check-in citing some “new government laws” that were never mentioned anywhere. We had no issues staying at other hotels like Hyatt and Taiba, so this was clearly due to poor communication and unhelpful staff here. ‎ ‎We were forced to find another hotel in 48°C heat, losing our money and wasting valuable time. This experience was stressful, humiliating, and completely avoidable. Would not recommend, especially for travelers from non-Arabic countries. ‎ ‎Thats definately not the way how you should be treating your guests!! Read less

We stayed at Al-Gufran hotel for 5 days. The water provided in the rooms at the hotel is insufficient and not enough in this hot weather. When we asked for extra water, the response we got was ridiculous. They say to ask by phone but water never comes to the rooms. We came from Türkiye for the blessed Umrah pilgrimage. I love this hotel it’s charming beautiful clean . The staff are so nice ,we came 4 people and we booked a normal room but without us asking they upgraded it and made it a suite. We were really stressed out and tired from our travel, they made it easy for us to check in. The location and view is so beautiful! And there are a lot of shopping sites near the hotel like literally under the hotel. It’s also a two minute walk to al haram a very famous attraction which is perfect! The staff offers to come in to your room and give you some instructions about where things are and what numbers to call if you need anything and they take your bags and place them in the room for you. This was my second time staying at Dar Al Eiman Al Haram Hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the Haram, which makes it incredibly convenient for prayers and access to nearby shops and restaurants. The hotel manager and reception staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay, and their warm hospitality really stood out. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. Housekeeping was inconsistent — with some days where the room was not cleaned properly or on time. Room maintenance was also below expectations; we experienced leaking in the bathroom and signs of wear, which was disappointing, especially for a hotel that has recently undergone renovations. The condition of the rooms did not reflect the standard expected from a newly updated property. Additionally, the breakfast menu could be expanded to offer more variety, especially for guests staying multiple days or those with different dietary preferences. With better consistency in cleanliness, improved room upkeep, and a more diverse breakfast selection, this hotel could become a top choice — especially given its location and the excellent service at the front desk.
