Superb location 5 min walk to Ala aqsa Local shops, restaurants, cash machine etc on the door step. Note inside the walls everything closes early bit some places are open outside the walls. Beautiful views of the city and Al Aqsa from the roof top. Breakfast is decent friendly staff, water, coffee, tea is available 24/7 in the lobby. We are visiting hashimi hotel from South Africa for 5 days. The hotel is best location in the old city very near to Al Aqsa walking distance 500m. However, the room and bathroom is very tiny. WiFi isn't great at all it keeps disconnecting throughout our stay and the signal was bad most times. Kindly improve WiFi. The Service is great and breakfast is wonderful. Special mention to Abu Khaled for preparing us fresh eggs to our liking we thoroughly enjoyed them. The staff are all very kind and helpful from the reception to housekeepers to general staff and kitchen staff. They even invited us to eat delicious maqluba the one night it was so tasty and we really enjoyed the meal and generosity. The view from the rooftop is the best view of old city and Aqsa compound. We can't get enough. This hotel is very near to many historical sites in old city which are very much significant to Muslims, Christian's and Jews. We will be back insha Allah. Simply the best hotel in the old city, its overall location, which is so close to so many historical sites, the value and service are ideal. The staff at the hotel are some of the most welcoming and beautiful people you could meet. The view of the masjid and overall old city is amazing too. Shout out to the Chef Abu Khaled, those omelettes 😋. Special mention for the owners (great guys) and Shaykh Saleh, legend. Would recommend it 100% of the time! Read less

Nothing can beat its location and view from the 4th floor seating area. The breakfast could be improved upon with some fresh fruit and yoghurt. I visited this hotel for 5 days as part of a religious tour, and I must say it is definitely worth your money. The food was absolutely delicious, everything served fresh with very generous portions. The rooms are well maintained, everything working, very clean, but the main thing about this hotel is the panoramic views of masjid Al-Aqsa from the terrace. It literally made me cry when I walked out and saw the view for the first time, absolutely stunning. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala grant ease to our brothers and sisters in Palestine, and He subhanahu wa ta'ala grant us the understanding of why it is so important to visit Palestine as much as possible, aamiin. The hotel is 475 years old. Most of the construction materials are marble and rocks. The wood furniture and trim is real and solid wood. If you like high tech, hollow walls, lament walls and floors, go to another hotel. The food is healthy, fresh, and good tasting. Most of the main attractions are walking distance from this hotel. The service is not perfect but is definitely way above average. The overall environment is friendly and helpful from the employees and from the people who live there. Read less

There are stairs to get to the reception, but life access is available for disabled people. Hotel restaurant was nice and served nice food each day. Staff were attentive. Toilet facilities was OK. Great location and not too far to walk on foot to get to. In the middle of the bustle of stalls, etc, in the narrow streets and very close to main holy attractions. An Islamic hotel that gives ambience and a beautiful view of The Dome of the Rock from a lovely roof top and from your room if lucky. Questions are asked if married, etc. So take note when booking or you will need to get an extra room. A nice haven amongst the hustle bustle to return to offering breakfast or evening dinner in the basement. I really liked this hotel as so hidden, and location, location..convenient with a view too.,.A family run business that will not entertain unmarried couples sharing a room , so remember that to avoid disappointment when booking..
