The hotel is very clean and beautiful, with tidy and well-maintained furniture. The staff are absolutely wonderful β all of them were helpful, especially Mr. Nawaf, Mr. Firas, and the lovely lady at the reception. The location is very close to the Haram and conveniently near both the menβs and womenβs gates. The Eid celebration was truly special and enjoyable. The price is very reasonable, the beds are comfortable, and extra pillows are provided. However, the kettle in one of the rooms we rented had some tea residue in it, which suggests it was used to make tea and wasnβt cleaned properly.
I also forgot my pillow in the room, and when I contacted them, they had it wrapped and ready for me to pick up again in less than half an hour.
The elevators are a bit small and slow.

An Exceptional Stay Just Steps from Haram Gate 326
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during my visit to Madinah, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The location is one of its standout features β it is just a very short and comfortable walk to Masjidun Nabawi. Whether you're heading there for Fajr or any other prayer, the convenience of being so close cannot be overstated. It truly enhances the spiritual experience.
The cleanliness of the hotel is also worth highlighting. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was spotless and well-maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job daily, and the overall hygiene standards were clearly a top priority for the management.
Equally impressive was the staff. Every team member I interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and respectful. They were always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was helping with luggage, providing directions, or simply offering a warm greeting. Their hospitality made the stay feel even more special and comfortable.
The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and serene, aligning perfectly with the spiritual nature of the trip. Whether you're coming for Umrah or simply visiting Madinah, I highly recommend this hotel for its unbeatable location, excellent service, and high standard of cleanliness. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The location is very convenient and the price really beats other 5 star hotels. But the highlight were the staff. From the check in receptionist whom I had forgotten her name who did here best to accommodate me and check me in smoothly with great attitude and a smile on her face π And the house keeping staff especially Nabikul who did an amazing job going out of his way to keep my room tidy and clean and great gentleman as well. Top lad π
Overall good experience good price great location.

This is a 3.5 star hotel at best.
Stayed here with my family and relatives.
Average rooms, not very big. Service is ok. Very busy during Ramadan. 3 lifts which is not enough when busy.
Food is average. Lots of choice but not greatest quality.
Best thing about the hotel - brilliant location. Very close to the haram. Close to the gates and literally 1 minute walk and you are inside the mosque area.
Also close to shops and Bin-Dawud for grocery shopping etc.
Great if you have females or young children as the woman's section is close by and my sons were able to walk back to the hotel in the evening themselves.
I stayed here twice during Ramadan and would stay again - mainly due to the location.

Our experience at Emaar Elite Al Madina was truly outstanding. The hotelβs location is perfectβjust a short walk to the Haram, making it incredibly convenient for prayers and visits.
The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Despite reaching the hotel earlier than the standard check-in time, Basma at the front desk, accommodated us immediately, making the process smooth and hassle-free.
Housekeeping was also top-notch, with a special mention to Abdul Kareem and Abd Razak, who went above and beyond to ensure our room was spotless and comfortable throughout our stay.
Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madinah!

Just spent a few days in medina. The location was spot on. However, the staff at reception was rude. With poor English, communication was difficult. They ignored request to remove excess beds from my room. My room had 4 single beds for me and my wife. Eventually it was done by a cleaner. Breakfast was poor QuranΓ’β¬β’s repetitive.
The worst was the bathroom, the shower tray is made of normal tiles. The bathroom keeps flooding after every shower.
The window outside was full of pigeon droppings probably not cleaned for months.

The hotel location. Is the best thing about it,just in front of haram and 2 min walk, the garage is a disaster in terms of design and capacity, it takes only 20-30 cars and the rooms are 100!!!!!! And it is the smallest garage i ever saw in my life!! The rooms were ok, a bit small but ok, the bathroom need some renovations, people who work there were nice and tried to help, but when we asked for room cleanup they said after 5 pm!! Anyway i would say it was acceptable experience

Reserved the hotel on Booking, surprisingly the reservation has been cancelled by the property claiming that my credit card is not valid.
I have emailed them two times confirming that my credit card is valid , I have even used another valid credit card!!
Unfortunately, it was a very bad experience to cancel my reservation only 20 days before my travel which enforced me to make a new reservation in another hotel with higher rates.
Shame on you.

Super cold AC that canΓ’β¬β’t be adjusted so I turned it off although itΓ’β¬β’s 35 degrees outside!! Breakfast not included. No slippers provided. Slow service. I think the hotel catered for Malaysian and Indonesian ppl. Breakfast is appalling . You get only toast and eggs only they run out of butter sometimes cheese. They don't even give a proper plates or cutlery to eat. Everything is plastics. The room is very small for quad room, the 4th bed is a folding bed and the pillow is so hard like a rock and the mattresses aren't comfortable, it's very difficult to sleep. The shower is horrible, no soap dishes or toothbrush holders. I have to used a plastic cup to put my toothbrush in. the water goes every where as its an open shower when you showered. The cleaners doesn't clean your room or the change your bedsheets or give you clean towels unless you ask them. The reviews on Google doesn't not seem accurate as I have seen many ppl complained about the hotel management. Do not stay in that hotel unless you are Indonesian or Malaysian ppl.

Horrible experience. The staff was unfriendly and uncooperative. Every room has some or the other problem. The wifi and the washroom werenΓ’β¬β’t working properly in the first room we checked in. The telephone wasnΓ’β¬β’t working in the alternate room they gave us and the washroom was very dirty. They donΓ’β¬β’t have a luggage trolly either to carry our luggage. They are extremely short staffed with just 2-3 bell boys. A 13 storey building but they have only 4 elevators that become extremely crowded during salah time and we had to wait around 10-15 min just for the elevator. There are better hotels out there so please spend your money wisely.

Nothing was good about this hotel, on the contrary found bad management and housekeeping. Especially the night male receptionist who had a bad temperament, attitude and manners, doesn't speak or understand English at all. How do even expect the international pilgrims to speak or understand Arabic?
Would never choose this shabby hotel. My money was wasted, instead I expect a full refund! Requested for double bed room and got single beds instead!

I usually dont like to do reviews like this but sadly I have to as I believe its an amanah for future hujjaj.
I went on Hajj with Hunafaa and their partners in 2025 and sadly it was a very disappointing experience. Group leads were mostly absent, leaving us to organise everything ourselves. Elderly people and first-timers were left without proper support. Communication was poor, responses were slow, and a helpful WhatsApp group was closed just before we arrived.
Muzdalifah was a disaster β we arrived late, had no space, and were told to sleep dangerously close to a busy highway. The group got split up and left behind with no care shown by the leads. Elderly people were stranded and confused, while group leaders relaxed without concern.
One group lead in particular (wont mention the name on here) was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He didnβt seem fit for the role at all.
There was no proper logistical info β we werenβt even told about free shuttle buses until days later.
This felt like a first-time operation, not a company claiming years of experience. You canβt keep telling people βhave sabrβ after delivering poor service. Hajj is a once-in-a-lifetime journey β this company did not respect that. Would not recommend, especially for elderly pilgrims. I sincerely hope they improve.
One positive I can say is the religious and spiritual aspect was very good. Sheikh Imran Patel was on point.
Constructive Feedback for Future Hajj Trips:
While this experience was deeply disappointing, I want to provide some sincere feedback to help improve the service for future hujjaj. I believe this is an amanah (trust) that you carry, and future pilgrims deserve better:
1. Hold a live seminar with all group leads present before departure. This allows everyone to meet and become familiar with who they can approach during the trip.
2. Create and maintain a dedicated WhatsApp group for all hujjaj to communicate, share updates, and ask questions throughout the entire trip.
3. Group leads should be present at the airport before the hujjaj arrive, clearly visible, wearing appropriate branded jackets or lanyards. After check-in, take time to introduce themselves to the group properly.
4. Learn and document local hotel and area amenities (e.g., shuttle bus services, walking directions to Haram, food places), and provide this to the hujjaj before arrival.
5. Hire group leads based on character and communication skills, not just availability. Only assign individuals who want to do the role and can handle it with compassion and professionalism. There should be a minimum of two group leads per hotelβnot just one.
6. Dont advertise the trip to the elderly. Especially if English is not one of their languages. Based on what I experienced, this company is not equipped to support elderly pilgrims, and advertising otherwise is misleading.
7. Hire at least one female group lead. This is a must. Many sisters needed guidance and support and had no one to turn to.

The experience with Hunafa and their hajj partners was very disappointing. Apart from religious and spiritual talks/guidance, their wasn't much support and it felt like a lot of short comings were glossed over by way of the blame game I.e it's not them it's the service provider or the default answer being have "sabr".
Unfortunately for the outlay - which for a couple can run into the tens of thousands you expect a minimum service level.
It felt like a case of over promise under deliver as opposed to the other way round.

Still due refund three years later
Coming up to three years now and still yet to receive a full refund for our Hajj deposits. It has been painstaking process and they often dont reply untill prompted again. I have been very patient with them but they just want to keep hold of the money. Whether or not thier suppliers have paid them back is not my concern. I am rightly owed a refund. Will now be taking them to court to recover my money and expenses due to loss of value in three years
