I have nothing but praises for this hotel and its attention to detail, specifically due to staff customer service. When we arrived a few hours earlier than check in time, the sister from the office, I believe she was the manger was very welcoming and one of the most friendliest person. My son (3 years old baby) suffers from Autism and we had a very long flight and we had no expectations for the room to be ready but she prioritised our room and helped us check in early which was such an unexpected and pleasant gesture THANK YOU. We received daily call from the reception to check if everything was good with the service which was really appreciated. I had a small maintenance related feedback and the hotel sent a maintenance guy within 5 mins and the problem was fixed. We were 4 people checked in we had 4 tooth brushes in the bathroom, we had bathroom slippers, we had welcome fruit plate, we had tissue boxes, we had every single amenity that we could have needed. I am so impressed by the attention to detail by all hotel staff combined including housekeeping, I requested the big lamp to be removed from our room because my son due to his Autism could be destructive and the housekeeper obliged straight away. When you enter the Lobby it has a beautiful smell, gives you a very happy and refreshing feeling. Even the security guard at night was so sweet towards my son and give him a sweet, Same goes with the check out experience we met the sister again (who checked us in) and specially thanked her & commended her for her brilliant customer service and kindness, thank you to all the staff for such amazing gestures and making our stay in Makkah so pleasant and welcoming. We are so impressed and will be coming back to stay with you in future again inshAllah. Lastly the hotel is located very near to Haram and within minutes you can reach the inside of the mosque. You enter the mosque from Ajyad bridge which is located right next to Safa Hill and very close to Hajar Al-Aswad so you can also begin your Tawaaf straight away. Overall it was an excellent & memorable Umrah trip experience.

This is one of the finest hotels I have stayed at in Makkah. When I first booked it, I did not have particularly high expectations, but it truly exceeded them. Although it is officially a 3 star hotel, it easily deserves to be considered a 4 star property. The reception team were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the same can be said for the housekeeping and restaurant staff. Everyone was spot on. We were welcomed with warm smiles and seen off in the same way, which made a real difference to our stay. One of the hotel’s strongest advantages, aside from its excellent staff, is its location. It is within walking distance of the Haram, with a variety of shops conveniently located directly beneath the hotel. The rooms were slightly small (we booked a triple bed room), but we requested that the chairs be removed to create additional space, and the staff were happy to oblige. The walls are slightly thin, so some noise from the corridor can be heard. If you are a light sleeper, this may be a minor disturbance, but if you are very tired, you are unlikely to notice it. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Honest review from a UK traveller. Our first 3 nights out of 5 were not great in level 5 for a 3 bed share. We then made a request to switch to a 4 bed in level 8 opposite our parents room and alhumdullilah it was a lot more comfortable. At the time of booking, all room types were same price so 4 bed is what I'd recommend. Cons: - For a £150 nightly stay in December, booking.com was the only way to book and is non-refundable, I expected more. But I'm glad that I got my wife's parents a separate room as the 4 bed share is very tight for us to all to put our suitcases inside the room. - Light comes through the door at night so we had to put a towel down. - No shower mat so was a little slippery. Pressure for the showers was minimal in level 5, not in level 8. - 3 buttons to control 5 lifts, not synched together so all have to be pressed in the hope of one to come up. Pros: - 10 minutes walk to Haram umrah entry gate but lots of road works at the moment. Gate 91 King Abdul Aziz for rooftop escalator access. - Rooms have a really nice soft prayer mat & quran given to us in the cupboards which I guess most big hotels wouldn't have. Jazakallah khair. - Barbershop located next door, costs £2 - Al Kakiah Wholesale Market 10mins drive for cheap clothes, prayer mats etc. - Zam Zam restaurant located outside hotel, half decent chicken nuggets & chips for £5 with a £2 mango shake - Fruits, drinks, chocolates, crisps outside hotel too from grocery shops. Laban 80p, guava £3/kg, bananas £2.50/kg - Channel 9 has English movies all day long. Watched Ice Age, Spiderman 2 etc.

If you value hospitality, this hotel is not recommended at all. This review can be used for the hotel management evaluation. I understand that the jamaah need the hotel, but please treat us well. I have very unpleasant experience staying here. The first one, the security HIT THE DESK AND LAUGHED once me and my friends sitting in front of the desk. I have asked him “what’s the problem?” And he kept smiling and avoiding eye contact with me. Soon I reported it to the front desk, but doesn’t really help due to language barrier (the staff don’t speak English). Another staff being so rude to me once I want to feed the cat. Calling me with rude gestures and was so arrogant. And in general all the staff just not giving friendly gesture. Would the hotel staff do the same if I am whiter? Is it racism?

Nice location. Short waking distance to Al Haram. Room is a bit cramped for quad capacity. More suitable for triple beds. Food is ok and tasty. Need to work on the clean up process in the restaurant. Overall : recommended
Stayed here when performing umrah with family. The room is clear. The bathroom too is clean and specious. The lift works well. The location is perfect for us.

Royal Majestic Hotel in Makkah and was truly impressed by the overall experience. The hotel offers a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great choice for pilgrims seeking comfort and convenience near the Haram. The location is ideal—just a short drive from Masjid Al-Haram with shuttle services running frequently, especially during prayer times. This was extremely helpful, particularly for elderly guests and families with children. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-furnished, providing all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the housekeeping team ensured cleanliness and timely service throughout my stay, The front desk staff were courteous, professional, and always willing to assist with any queries. Their warm hospitality and efficiency made the check-in and check-out process smooth and hassle-free, The hotel restaurant also offered a decent breakfast with a good variety of local and international options. The dining area was clean and spacious, perfect for starting the day in a relaxed setting, Overall, I found Royal Majestic Hotel to be a well-managed and comfortable accommodation choice. I would gladly return on my next visit to Makkah and recommend it to others looking for a reliable stay near the Holy Mosque.
Clean room and facilities, good food, very best service, staffs are really nice and friendly, very nice hotel, 5 stars for this hotel. Thank you, hope i'll stay again.

Very bad service, as a hotelier I feel a shame to face this kind of service. Fyi for jamaah umroh, you cant switch off dnd sign even front desk already put Whatsapp number but theres no respond they only hang it with read notification without any reply. Reception is really bad they just cant speak english and just say “it cant” everytime we ask for any basis amenities inside, we stay for 3 night but there’s no refil for amenities inside the room. Yaa, its because you cant switch off the DO NOT DISTRUB sign. Already ask front desk but there’s no respond.

The room was nice, the mattress was comfortable, not very spacious but it was enough, the bathroom was clean and tidy too, the air conditioning worked, the waiting area was spacious, the service was quite good in my opinion, the food and drinks provided were quite filling for me. Maybe the cleanliness around the hotel can be further improved, which is to the right of the hotel entrance and exit, I was a bit surprised by the situation there but overall it's good 👍🏻 (18-09-2022)
Rooms are good but cheates with over bedding... A room of two was added with two extra beds and making four.... Which had ni space left for any movement

Worst experience ever ! Bad costumer service , rude staffs, no mineral water, no change amenities, no daily clean room, cleaning service just entered my room without my concern. If I had to change my hotel it would be another one near Mecca. Never recommend it for another big travel. Lifts have terrible functionality and there’s always full of queues of people.
Rooms are nice, not so clean though but it's ok.The hotel is so close to the Masjidil Haram,we came in and out of the mosque in minutes.
Everything is good but lifts are a great problem here it’s been 3 days nobody came to fix it even after repeatedly complaining about it.

You will not find hospitality in this place, i stayed for 5 days in here, TV off, lazy cleaning service, no internet connection only wifi signal, no daily mineral water, front desk officer is always busy with their gadget and no english speaking. I know they don't care about customer experience as this hotel is always full with worshiper as their location is one of the best among others. But choose the better ones if you can. Overall, it's 4 stars hotel with the taste of a boarding house.

Spent 6 nights here. 4 female. Overall, it's okay. But there are a lot of things to improve. Space: My room is not spacious, because there are 3 wardrobes in the room with lots of drawer. That's too much wardrobe. Another room that my family stayed in is spacious enough because there's only one wardrobe in the room. Room Facility: Bedroom: Electric kettle, aircon, TV, safebox. Bathroom: Hot water, toiletries, towel, clothes line, hairdryer Minus: No hangers. No floor mat to dry your feet after showering. Wifi is meh. Fayrouz Restaurant: They serve delicious food that's suitable for Indonesian taste during my stay. But the food variation is not that great, kind of monotonous. Egg and beef patty(?) for breakfast, fried fish always available during lunch and dinner, and they served some kind of biryani(?) on Saturday night. You can't bring food from the restaurant to your room. I think the problem is the plate and cutlery. I understand that they have limited plates to serve hundreds of people, and it's an extra effort to get all the plates that people left on the hallway in front of their room. But some people are just got sick and can't even move from their bed, so they asked roommate to get some food for them. The restaurant should provide, I don't know, recycleable paper plate or something as a solution. Service: I PUT THE "DO NOT DISTURB" TAG ON THE DOOR. We were all getting ready to get some rest, and the housekeeping staff keep knocking our door. We're too tired to respond. To our surprise, the staff unlocked the door using his key. Even tho he didn't just barge in, he kinda peek first, that's very very very not nice, the tag we put on the door is no use. Cleanliness: No bad odor when we enter the room for the first time. The sheet have some stain. The carpet need serious cleaning, lots of stain. Bathroom is quite clean, they just need to clean some part thoroughly, such as under the toilet seat, and the wall behind the shower door. Accessibility: The road from the main road to the hotel entrance is not wheelchair friendly, it's too steep.
Good enough for take a rest and enjoy after pilgrim / pray. But the wifi never working good.

We stay in this hotel from may 12, 2022 until may 17, 2022. Location of this hotel is quite far from masjidil Haram. It is around 1,5 km. The Room is not spacious. There is one day there is no water at all in our bathroom from 3 am until 21 pm. Surely I will not choose this hotel in the future.
Room service not good.. People are not attending after repeated complaints and they are expecting tips every time
Cozy room with aesthetic decoration 😀, But the cuisine of Indonesia it feels a bit different ☺

Clean room & compact. Have good interior design, good bathroom & the food is Indonesian taste. Around 500-700m to Masjidil Haram, takes 7-10minutes on food. Unfortunately the hotel is not in the strategic location, it's behind of the store and we should through a narrow alley in the middle of store to go to the Lobby.
Good hotel near to Masjid al-Haram
Good hotel ,but the elevator here is really irritatable, Abdul Aziz gate is nearly 500m to 600m,it seems their didn't take any steps to solve the elevator problem

On the first night itself, the pillows and bedsheets were smelling as if someone had pee'd in them. As disgusting as it sounds, there were situations worse than that. Due to the pillows and bedsheets smelling like that, we had to change our room. And let me tell you one important thing, after we changed the room the next day, we were supposed to perform ghusl and head towards The Holy City of Makkah. And the night before that (the same night we changed our room). I went to take a shower, and almost 20 minutes later, the drainage water most probably choked up and started leaking complete sewage waterout in the toilet. Even before I had opened the toilet door, I realized that the digusting sewage water was leaking out of the toilet really fast, and 75% of our "NEW" rooms carpet was soaked in sewage water. If there was an option to give this hotel a review of less than five stars, I think I would most definitely do that.

A very nice and well-maintained hotel. The location is excellent — less than 10 minutes' walk to Masjid Nabawi, which makes it very convenient, especially for prayers. There’s also a restaurant right in front of the hotel that serves delicious Indonesian food, perfect for those looking for familiar tastes. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay in Madinah.

Disappointing Stay at Province Al Sham My recent stay at Province Al Sham was unfortunately quite disappointing, marred by several significant issues that negatively impacted our experience. One major complaint was the air conditioning. Even after switching off the unit in our room, cold air continued to flow, likely from a central vent, making it uncomfortably chilly, especially at night. This lack of individual climate control was a constant source of discomfort. The restaurant experience was particularly poor. The staff, including the manager, displayed a consistently negative attitude. We felt as though we were being scrutinized for simply eating there, with the manager's demeanor making us feel like we were "eating free food". Furthermore, dining during peak hours was a test of patience, as we frequently had to wait in long queues for around half an hour just to get to the buffet and more time to get the table. Housekeeping was also a significant problem. Our room was not cleaned for two days, and when someone finally did come, the cleanup was a rushed, five-minute affair, clearly indicating a shortage of cleaning staff. Adding to the discomfort, the bathroom ventilation was extremely poor. Unpleasant odors and sounds from the bathroom easily permeated the entire room, likely due to a lack of an effective exhaust fan or proper soundproofing. This significantly detracted from the overall comfort and privacy of the stay. Perhaps the most shocking incident was witnessing a manager shout at an elderly person for simply not arriving on time for a meal. The guest, an older woman, was visibly distressed and didn't even respond. This display of disrespect towards a guest, especially an elderly one, was completely unacceptable and left a very poor impression. Overall, the numerous issues with the air conditioning, the unwelcoming and inefficient restaurant service, the lack of proper housekeeping, the poor bathroom ventilation, and the appalling treatment of a guest by a manager made our stay at Province Al Sham far from enjoyable. I would not recommend this hotel.
Close to Haram. The bathroom has a continuous bad smell in my experience. The bed sheet was dirty.

Some of these reviews are ridiculous, but I might be also mad if I have to pay that much money for my self and get that level of the service, fortunately I was travelling in group which makes the price waaayy more make sense. About the separate dining areas for Arabs and non Arabs, apparently it's common practice - although still very racist, in Makkah as well, but I thought that was based on the price of the room purchased, not the nationality, maybe, it's better that the hotel clarify this so the people aren't feeling discriminated in the holy land. The best thing is location, I can simply jump out of bed and run to the female entrance all in less than 10 min , that's why I would definitely comeback if Allah wills ❤️

Location is 5 minutes from the ladies entrance King Fahd gate and door 21. The hotel lobby was neat and comfortable but the room was small. I had booked a triple room and there was not even space left to put a prayer mat.The furnishings looked a bit outdated and damaged. The toilet was clean but the hold support in the tub was loose which could cause a serious fall. The room service was very slow to respond. The breakfast buffet spread had many dishes but did not cater to all peoples common taste. It could be improved. They have underground parking but the entrance is too narrow with limited slots and was unavailable during my stay. Luckily i could park at the space in the nearby Ritz hotel for Sr 5 per hour.

Location was good. It was nearby the masjid. However, the quality of room, hygiene not up to standard. Especially when you rate is a 4 star hotel. Its definitely not 4 star. More like 2 star. I had to ask multiple times for toilet tissues. Even then they wouldn't refill. We were four people in one room and they found it appropriate to give less towels and toilet tissues. The shower head was not working as it should. Tiles cracked in bathroom. Grouts were dirty. Wallpaper ripped off the wall and head board all scratched. Room service didn't come for 3 days. Bed sheets weren't changed. It was simply turned over. Thinking that we would not notice. Carpets were physically observed to be dirty. When housekeeping came, he couldn't hoover it off. Breakfast was not nice. Skipped breakfast as it was simply not worth eating in the hotel.

This was honestly the worst experience ever I couldn't sleep for the 4 nights I spent here. I spent all night feeling itchy. The hygine was atrocious I didn't drink much liquids or eat much food just so I didn't need to use their bathrooms. My room had no lights just 2 lamps but for some decorative reasons 4 switches that were like the staff, absolutely useless and just for display. And let's not go onto the lifts I walked down 10 floors before my family even got a lift. My room, for a family of 4, had only 1 available socket so we had to charge our phones in turns. Any pictures of the hotel are complete catfish it showed slippers and bathrobes and an ironing board it even said complementary water and kajoors in the lobby but non of that was true. Throughout the 4 nights my room was never cleaned and my sheets and towels were never changed but on my first night they stood and my door yelled room cleaning till I woke up from sleep and asked if I needed water or anything and then proceeded to hoover the hallway bearing in mind it's 11pm. Would not recommend this hotel you're better of sleeping on the streets. Am fully convinced that any good review on this hotel were from the staff looking for a raise.

My experience at Province Al Sham was very satisfactory, unlike some of the other reviews here. It is located at about 10 minutes walk to the Holy Masjid but you have to cross a very busy road on the way. The two rooms that I booked were cozy, well maintained and comfortable. Cleanliness can however be a bit improved. The staff was friendly and cooperative during my 2 night stay there. I cannot comment on the quality of their food though since I didn't try it.

I admit the have a good housekeeping and warm front desk counter staff. But their for their food preparation, this hotel about the worst because of the F&B Manager discriminate and instruct his staff to segregate the meal and food section between Asian and non Asian. As a person who is Asian and working, leaving oversea, bread and butter are our main meal. But our request been deny by their F&B Dept and really humiliated us. The F&B staff even shouted to my friend who also a guest hotel. Because of that I rate this hotel for F&B 2 star only. My advise, please respect your guest. We also human. Arrived Thursday evening during Ramadan with my wife, mother and 2 young kids. Room was dirty. Bedding hadn't been changed from the previous guests. Only 2 towels despite there being 5 of us. No hot water. We had to shower in a friend's room. Next day after asking many times we spoke to the cleaner on our floor. The poor guy was responsible for cleaning the whole floor by himself. He cleaned the room, changed the bedding and gave us toilet roll and towels. For the next 3 days we still had no hot water. They would say someone will come up in 20 minutes, making me wait in the room for hours so I couldn't go the masjid. We were told at one point, "Who needs hot water in this hot weather?" When we would ask for a partial refund or some compensation we would get laughed at. They wouldn't change our room due to availability. They offered us a 3 bed room twice over the 2 days which obviously I refused. When I asked if we could keep this room and have the 3 bed room as well as surely they wouldn't be giving this faulty room to other guests, I got shouted at. Eventually a plumber of some sort sourced a new water heater in the middle of the night and fitted overnight. He was the only one who apologised and understood our situation. The reception staff are rude and useless. The management are even worse. The room itself is outdated with worn out carpet. The fridge is tiny. The windows don't close properly. You have to pester cleaning staff to clean the room. They give you one tiny toilet a roll a day and you have to plead for more. Do not stay at this hotel at any cost.
An excellent hotel at the most reasonable price imaginable. Helpful and courteous staff. Highly recommended.
Nice deco in the lobby. Easy access to Masjid Nabawi.

Very good experience, it's very near by Masjid Al NABWI, the staffs are very friendly rooms are good and it's very cheap hotel in that area. I got a room for 150sr after discount and also you can walk in for booking anytime in day or night, other hotels in that area will say you can check in only 2 pm noon.
Good & clean very near to Masjid AlNabawi

Restaurant of this hotel is simple but very neat and tasty food available. Simple and reasonable hotel. 15 minutes walk distance to Masjid.e.nabawi. rooms are average, bath tabs are not well cleaned, stains are present, towel and tissue and room spray are not available on checkin but later provide on demand. No electric kettle with tea and coffee sachet are available as complimentary. Ok. I give this hotel 3 stars only.

Building was fine but the people operating the hotel were lazy and not up to the mark. Bed sheets and carpets were old and worn out. small rooms having 5 to 6 single beds. Limited basement parking is possible but they charge you extra for that. A renovation is much needed.
TV was not working... Washroom faucets were broken. No daily cleaning... Room were small for 4 single beds.. No locker in room. No reception call. Good things hot and cold water all the time.. Centralized AC. That's...

Nice place. Had a damp carpet smell when we arrived, but it dessipated over time. Toiletries and towels were provided. Refrigerator was provided, though iron and kettle were not. Air conditioning worked well initially, but they may have turned it off due to the cold. No window, so no view, but soundproof room as did not heat anything from the construction site behind it. Restaurant present but did not yet it. Laundry service was good, charging 4 riyal per clothing item. Close to haram. Would not mind staying here again.

I went to Hajj with LCHU this year (2019). I'm extremely pleased with the way things were arranged for me as I had particular needs as I wanted to travel on my own from Pakistan. It would never be enough to thank Mr. Amin Swati, he was extremely helpful and went to lengths to arrange this for me - I'd always remain grateful to him. Group leaders brother Yaseen & Moulana Haleem won my heart. I'd also like to mention brother Raheel who was very helpful on my arrival in Medina. My prayers with all of them, may Allah SWA bless them all and give them jazay khair, Ameen. However, the so called Mufti in the group didn't impress me one bit and other members of group also find his attitude intolerable. He set a very poor impression from day one to the end (at least he was consistent). Also, another gentlemen who was to take care of our accommodation on our arrival in Mecca was very laid back, had a very aggressive and poor attitude towards all Hajis. I noticed his dealings with other people and believe me it was shocking. But again, Brother Yasin and Moulana Haleem were always available to get us through the problems with ease. The service and accommodation in both Medina (Saja Medina) and Mecca (Retaj Al Bait) were good, if not great. Accommodation in Mecca was not per the package (Quad sharing), that disappointed me a bit but it was great to meet different people who were very nice and cooperative. We didn't encounter any issues with the people we shared rooms. The travel arrangements were OK. Travel was organised by LCHU but they were not the actual suppliers and the supplier's time keeping was not great but again that was due to the horrible traffic in Mecca. I must say the people in our group were amazing and all very caring towards each other and we had a great time together. May Allah SWA bless all and accept our Hajj and all the parayers. I was told by family and friends to expect the unexpected and this is what we faced but I do not have any reason to complain about LCHU as Hajj is suppose to be a test for you and it is all about Sabr and patience. I'd highly recommend LCHU and would definitely (InshaAllah) use their services again. Ameen Bhai, Yaseen Bhai, Moulana Sahab you all are gems, it would never be enough how much I thank you - may Allah SWA bless you all and give jazay khair, Ameen.

In reply to "kamran khalid" I have to disagree with this person. I too am going on hajj with these brothers this year inshallah. I am only updating my original review to make it clear that the brothers did have to change some of the flights around due to Saudi restrictions on flights leaving out of Jeddah on the 16th of August as was their original schedule. I was not happy to hear of the changes they had to make but upon hearing the reason for this I was satisfied that they have tried their utmost to try to resolve the issue in a satisfactory manner. May Allah give us all the ability to have sabr, may he make it easy and accept our Hajj. Ameen.

Assalamu Alaykum, I called this company a few times last week and was promised a call back each time. This week did the same and was promised a call back so on Tuesday I called requesting a quote was told would be emailed next day. Still nothing Alhamdulilah found elsewhere now. Sad that an Islamic journey is tainted by such lack of courtesy.
