We had the most memorable time at this hotel. We were there to perform our umrah, and the rooms were so comfortable. The bathrooms were fantastic with good pressure and gorgeous hot water.
The elevators were so impressive because there was hardly any delay despite the hotel being quite full. The hotel is located within the haram and is a few minutes to gate 79 (King Fahd Gate). So convenient. There is a lovely mall downstairs at kevel C1, which is also the level used to exit to the haram. The mall has some great shops and fantastic restaurants. You can get the famous milk tea upstairs at the mall's food court.
The breakfast is incredible! I was shocked by the amazing range of foods on offer. They start breakfast a bit late at 6.30 am, which is not always convenient if you are praying fajr salat at 5am. It means you have a super long wait. However, I definitely recommend going g to breakfast early as it gets busier as the morning wears on. Breakfast ends at 11 am, with the last entry to the breakfast area at 10.30 am.
The beds are very comfortable, and I slept like a log. The air-conditioning is very good, despite the blazing heat outside (we were there at the onset of summer and it was sweltering outside). I love the loudspeaker in the room, which means you hear all the salat in the haram directly. There were some instances where it was easier for me to pray in the room, and I didn't feel like I missed out at all.
I recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

Amazing hotel with amazing shops within. The rooms are modern clean and spacious. With great room service and housekeeping and multiple calls throughout the day to make sure service and everything is good and if anything needs improved or if anything is needed.
Breakfast is great and the walk to the haram is very short. The location is right behind dar al taqwa.

Please be aware that the hotel takes your booking and it is very misleading. I have booked for 2 Adults and 2 Children ages 12 & 12. Upon arrival they have provided a room with 2 single beds. Any reasonable person will accept that 4 persons cannot fit on 2 single beds. The beds are literally single not extra large or anything just regular singles. But the hotel will not provide any extra bedding and insist I have to pay for extra beds. How is this fair? If the hotel want to do this they should not be accepting bookings in this way as they are misleading. Also if they are accepting this type of booking then they have a duty to advise before guest arrival that they will only provide 2 single beds. This way the guest has a choice to decide if they will keep the booking. Clearly nobody will as they will not fit. So the message is stop misleading and start being fair.

Dear Hyatt Regency Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am considering booking a room at your hotel, but I have a quick question before finalizing my reservation. During a previous stay at a different hotel in makkah, I encountered an issue where the windows could not be opened. Since I am sensitive to air conditioning, it is important for me to have access to fresh air.
Could you please confirm whether the windows in your guest rooms can be opened?
Thank you in advance for your help. I look forward to your response.
Best regards

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Makkah for two days during Ramadan, and I must say it was our best and most memorable trip. It was my sister’s first time visiting Makkah, and thanks to this hotel, her Umrah and Ibadah experience was smooth and easy.
My elderly mother was also very happy with the stay. Since the hotel is just a short walk from the Haram, she was able to go by herself without any difficulty, which gave us peace of mind.
The location is excellent—right next to the Haram. There’s a shopping center downstairs, and even a mosque inside the hotel with separate prayer areas for men and women, which was very convenient.
We booked a deal that included both Suhoor and Iftar, and the food was amazing with so much variety. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the hotel has all the amenities you could need.
The staff was really helpful and kind throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Makkah!

I was extremely pleased with my stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We had a nice view of the Clock Tower. Hotel diner was excellent, with a huge variety of food options cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and approachable. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely consider booking again in the future. I’d like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Hyatt Regency for making my stay special. Thank you once again.

Service, food and the condition of the hotel and rooms are great. However, it is quite a distance to get to the Mosque as they close off most of the entrances and direct you to the extension. Location is a key factor and there are probably better located hotels which will allow you to get into the Gharam.

Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency is a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is within walking distance of the Grand Mosque, and it is also close to a number of other important religious sites.
The hotel has a total of 1,510 rooms and suites, all of which are spacious and luxuriously appointed. The rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the city or the Grand Mosque, king-size beds, marble bathrooms, and a variety of amenities.
The hotel has a number of dining options, including a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant, a coffee shop, and a rooftop bar with stunning views of the city. There is also a spa, a fitness center, and a swimming pool.
The hotel's staff is friendly and helpful, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that guests have a pleasant stay.
Here are some of the pros and cons of Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency:
Pros:
Excellent location
Spacious and luxurious rooms
Variety of dining options
Friendly and helpful staff
State-of-the-art facilities
Cons:
Can be noisy during peak times
Expensive
Some rooms have limited views
Overall, Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency is a great choice for travelers who are looking for a luxurious and convenient hotel in Mecca. The hotel is well-located, the rooms are spacious and luxurious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the hotel can be noisy during peak times and it is quite expensive.
Here are some tips for staying at Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency:
Book your room early: The hotel is popular, so it is important to book your room early, especially if you are traveling during peak times.
Ask for a room with a view of the Grand Mosque: If you want to wake up to stunning views of the Grand Mosque, be sure to ask for a room with a view.
Bring earplugs: The hotel can be noisy during peak times, so it is a good idea to bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise.
Be prepared to spend a lot of money: The hotel is quite expensive, so be prepared to spend a lot of money if you stay there.
I hope this helps!

Rooms are great and the furniture is in great new shape EXCEPT for the carpets! They're very dull and look and feel so worn out and not vacuumed regularly enough!! It's worth noting that there's no fridge nor a coffee station in the room. The breakfast buffet is huge quantity but average in quality. However, location is top and service is outstanding.

Good stay - nice touch with the club lounge - be aware this is only for 5-7pm and have a limited, repeated menu. The service was good. Location wise - one of the best in Makkah. However you don't get a full Haram view. Cleanliness is very good - excellent service at the reception desk and housekeeping. Disappointed with the bed size - despite the Hyatt website saying each bed sleeps 2, they don't - they're single beds. This is why we would reconsider staying here again. I would consider the Conrad where the bed size is more generous. Overall a good stay.

The distance to get to the haram is at least 10 minutes considering the slow lifts and would recommend making ways at least 5 minutes before the adhan. I would not recommend using the AC as the air ventilation is dirty and you will end up falling sick. The hotel definitely needs to invest in new air conditioners that can be serviced regularly. However, it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, the service was outstanding.

If i could rate this hotel a zero i would. For the amount of money paid the services we got were so so so bad. The towels were disgusting with stains in them and body hair. TWICE. The sheets smelled like food. Actually the entire hotel smelled like food. The staff are not helpful. It took them 4 hours to deliver our shopping to the room. Total rip off. Most important thing is hygiene, there was none here i was so scared to even sleep on the ripped bed sheets that were provided. Disgusting.

Although this is my second time to stay in this hotel. I was very satisfied with my first experience, however my second experience was not very impressive. The location of the facility near the mosque and the attached mini mall remains a very attractive advantage. However staff services was not very welcoming and I felt some sort of dullness. The room furniture requires better maintenance particularly the carpet. The bathroom cleanness was above average. Value for money was not optimal maybe because it’s Ramadan season and prices for all hotels near the mosque are elevated. $$$$
My experience with Direct reservation via the reservation center of the hotel was below average customer service representative was not Very helpful which made me make my reservations through Booking.com
I hope the hotel management pays more attention to find details to live up to the name of Hyatt Regency international Brand.

This hotel is literally few steps from gate 79 that is designated for women and any person who is planning for a Omra. The rooms are spacious and my room specifically has a great view. The dine in menu does not have much options. The hotel is in a mall area, however the shops do not have variety of options. There is a big super market in the mall which makes it easier to find anything u need. Although they offer the choice that u can have a late checkout to 3 oclock and pay 25% of the stay or stay to 6 and pay 50%, they are always fully booked that they can not deliver this option. In summary The hotel is great

The hotel, location and amenities are awesome. The bed are very comfortable and the rooms are also spacious. It's just 1-2 min walk from king Fahd gate Al Haram. However, the attitude of room service is not good. We asked them to bring in the table and open it but at first he refused it. Upon asking again, he opened it as if he is doing something very big for us. I'm giving 2 star because of their behavior. Rest everything about the property is amazing.

Our stay at Taiba Madinah Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The location is ideal—just steps away from the Prophet’s Mosque—making it easy and peaceful to attend prayers at any time of day.
One of the highlights of our stay was the warm welcome we received from Mr. Hussam at the front desk. He was always smiling, kind, and genuinely helpful. His positive attitude and professionalism made us feel instantly at ease and added a special touch to our experience. It’s rare to find someone who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable, and Mr. Hussam truly made a difference.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the Haram, and the service throughout the hotel was excellent. The restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious food, catering to all tastes.
I highly recommend Taiba Madinah Hotel to anyone visiting the holy city—it’s a perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality.

Alhamdullillah we were able to spend four beautiful days at this hotel. Coming from the U.S., we were looking for a place with close proximity to Madinah for us and our family members and this place did not disappoint. We were able to walk back and forth to and fro to the masjid for our prayers and back. It’s a one minute walk to Masjid Al Manawara and right in front of Masjid Al Qamama (the masjid where Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) prayed for rain.
The service is amazing. The staff so hospitable, always giving Salams, and catering to whatever needs you need.
Every day in Ramadan, they would have ghisr coffee and Sukari dates for all the guests.
On Eid Day, they passed out roses, cupcakes, cake cookies, to all the guests.
I loved the architecture of this hotel - beautifully designed - the elevator when the doors close ( inside) it has the doors of Masjid Al Munawwarah.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and they have a water boiler with tea so you can have tea whenever you want.
I highly recommend getting the breakfast and dinner at the hotel- it’s fantastically amazing! Fresh, with a variety of amazing choices and cuisines. We were hooked on the cardamom tea/karak/shay Adani, fresh juices, fruit, desserts, range of food from daal, soup, chicken, Mandi, lamb, meat, bechamel, potatoes , salads, olives, cheeses, etc…

I've stayed in this hotel for one night in a unit facing the ground mosque. The best thing about this hotel is its location, It's facing the mosque from the imam side. Which means that entering the mosque is much easier due to the smaller crowd compared to the hotels at the back of the mosque. The units are clean and well maintained, Especially that it is under heavy use all year long. I've been to more luxurious hotels, but they are not far off from what I've seen in this hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is good and the food choices are also good. The reception is friendly and experienced, and transportation is near by. All in all, my experience in this hotel was very positive and I highly recommend it.

Located on northern nabawi, so you must left earlier to get space behind imam.
Elevator for down during hajj season is no function, what a 5* hotel.
Mild chlorine odour on water, especially if you use hottube. Housekeepjng team polite, dilgent and responsive but somehow not completed the job (i think this is management direrction, see below).
Soundproof ness it was very good. Waterpresssure also good. Wifi internet speed good.
Toiletries nearly completed but the housekeeping team not giving what it should, for example shavings kits, extra soap and shampoo (since the room occupied by 5 people, so you cannot only giving qty for 2 people isnt it?) Its also happened for th towel, tea/coffe/sugar, even you hide the water heater behind the cupboard , what a service.. just keep it out of the room if you didnt want your guests use it rather that hide it.
Somehow management, please if you already take contract for accepeted Indonesian hajj guests, be full service or you may not take it at all. Yes, were not regular guest (umra) that only stay 2-3 nights. Yes we will not buying anything from Starbucks, or even your resto/room service, but yes we also giving tips for housekeeping team and make your occupancy high (even full) during hajj season, isnt it profit for your hotel? So please be full service

Amal from Guest services was really nice and helpful throughout our stay! Thank you for looking after our comfort during our stay.
The hotel isn’t really modern, I didn’t really like the room and bathroom, but there isn’t anything wrong in particular. The hair dryer in the room i stayed in wasn’t working.
The staff at the restaurant are not very professional, we asked to order from the in room dining menu instead of buffet for dinner. The guy was hesitant at first & then asked us to sit at the far corner.. weird.. it wasn’t crowded. the food wasn’t great either, bland, and they took a long to serve even the starters! And something wasn’t cooked, the spring roll i believe was still frozen, as as a compensation they served us fresh fruits after.
Overall, i dont think i would stay here again.

Rubbish hospitality...basic cleanliness they don't know...they wash the used tea cups in the toilet with plain water and keep it back!!! Buffet is just stale bread of days and variety not more than 3 main course! They don't provide hair conditioner which is staple! Basic courtesy the dinning, room service and housekeeping staff don't have! 0 hospitality! Only plus is location is very close by to Haram!

Spent about a week in December 2021.
Very lovely stay well worth every penny.
Pros: proximity to the masjid, awesome buffet, friendly English speaking reception staff. Our rooms got upgraded, hotel and rooms smell so fresh and clean.
Cons Toilet in room 1011 slow to flush. Takes ages to get enough water to flush and needs looking into.
Will definitely stay here in future visits

The collaboration of the hotel with Motawif as the organizing company voor the hajji could not be worse. I have never experienced a worse service level. People who have never met were put forcefully in the same hotel room. In all my travels I have never ever had such an experience. If you try to come to agreable understanding with the management of the hotel they point towards motawif. This is not in my view how a 5 star hotel should treat their guests.

We organised our first ever Umrah through Ihsaan Tours and it could not have gone anymore perfectly.
Bilal and Mustafiz were absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. From the initial pre-Umrah meeting to the actual trip and finally when we landed back in London, they were always supportive and helpful.
I would recommend Ihsaan Tours for any of their future tours/getaways and I have no doubt I will be going with them in the future. Be it Umrah again, Hajj (insha'Allah) or on one of their organised trips to Pakistan.
Thank you so much for making our first ever family Umrah tour such a pleasure and unbelievable experience.

I am really glad I chose to travel with Ihsaan Tours for my first ever umrah experience. They made every part of the journey seamless and was ready to provide us with any support or assistance whenever it was needed. The service you receive here is excellent. The attention to detail in ensuring you are kept informed before, during and even after your trips is second to none.

Ihsaan Tours, what can I say.
It’s been a pleasure doing Umrah with Bilal and Mustafiz, the brothers went above and beyond what they could with a big group of people and allowed us to peacefully do our own umrah with the right guidance.
We did have a missing luggage, which was stuck in Istanbul, I went twice to the airport to chase them but brother Bilal went the third time and found it. He didn’t need to do this but he went out of his way (with Harris) to do it anyway.
Would definitely recommend going with Ihsaan tours, though the organisers were Eman Channel, they provided the logistics of everything. We was provided with 5 start hotels with amazing views in front of the mosques in Makkah and Madinah. How on earth did they manage that with the price we paid. Amazing!
Anyone who hasn’t been Umrah before should definitely go with these brothers, they’ll respond to you ask quick as they can. Alhamdulillah faultless.
Jazakhallah for providing us with an amazing Umrah.
Many thanks,
Umar Suhail

My husband, baby and I just got back from the Mufti Menk Umrah tour. The whole experience was brilliant and planned and executed meticulously. They were very organised months ahead. The brothers really looked after us so we would like to say a special thanks and jazakhAllah khair to brothers Bilal, Mustafiz, Azeem, Harris and brother Joynul from Light upon Light, and everyone else from the team who I may have missed. Updates were regularly communicated and they were always there to help us with any questions or issues. Both hotels in Makkah and Madina were 5* were in very close proximity to the masjids and shops/food places. Brother Bilal, thank you for your help when my baby was ill and pointing me in the right direction of where to go for a pharmacy. The private villa night out with Mufti was a nice chilled out night, and the private date farm visit was so much more than I thought it would be. Would highly recommend this tour company. May Allah bless the brothers and their families Ameen and grant further success to their business Ameen. Such a special and memorable trip and met some lovely people on the tour too.

Alhamdulilah gave me the chance to go umrah for the first time, and I can definitely say with ihsaan tours and their staff it was made much easier by the will of Allah. Without ihsaan tours I’m not sure I would’ve done this umrah trip anytime soon.
Also great staff and great communications.

Iʼve had the opportunity to experience the Moroccan Retreat 2020 and to be a part of the first group on the Pakistan retreat 2022. Brother Bilal and Brother Mustafiz have always delievered an excellent service with complete transparency with the package in a hassle free manner. On both trips they exceeded all expectations, whilst going over and beyond and always over delivered on their promises. I will be looking forward to many more trips with Ihsaan Tours to come In'shaa'Allah.
