I had one of the most memorable stays in Makkah. From the very beginning, Mr. Rayan truly made my day with a smooth and welcoming check-in experience that set the tone for the rest of my visit. The view was simply breathtaking — overlooking the whole of Makkah in a way that made every moment feel special. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and thoughtfully prepared, offering both comfort and tranquility. The buffet featured an impressively wide variety of options, clearly reflecting the extra effort and dedication of both the operations team and the kitchen staff to cater to such large numbers with excellence. Accessibility was outstanding — with seamless access to and from the mall, as well as convenient connectivity to the Makkah Haram side, making the entire stay even more comfortable and stress-free. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality we received — especially from Mr. Sakeer, the assistant manager, whom we had the pleasure of interacting with during the daily dining. He was incredibly welcoming, always checking in to see if everything was okay, asking if we needed anything, and offering to help in any way he could. His warm personality and attentiveness really made a difference and left a lasting impression on us. The buffet meals for both breakfast and dinner were phenomenal — so much variety, consistently delicious food, and the dessert bar was next-level. Even during the busiest times, there was always plenty to choose from, and the staff worked tirelessly to keep everything well-stocked and fresh. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the in-room Adhan system was such a thoughtful touch that enhanced the spiritual experience of our trip. And of course, the location — 0 meters from Masjid al-Haram — couldn’t have been more perfect. I don’t know how this hotel has a 4.5 stars.. this was so expensive for finding mold in the bathrooms (video and picture) the bed is not comfortable, there is a beep sound in every floor and they don’t turn off at night time ( video). And when we asked them to turn off they said it’s like this and they can’t do nothing. It beeps every 10-20 seconds.. you can’t sleep.. Also the windows are so dirty that you can’t see anything outside ( picture).. the minimum you should keep are things cleaned.. the safe was also locked and not working, so we didn’t want housekeeping since we had our passports in the room.. we contacted them, they could not fix and that’s it.. it’s broken. The inclusive dinner does not even include soda.. only water! I have nothing good to say. Even the short distance is not worth the money they charge. There are better options around. Sanitary and health services should be contacted for these molds.. True 5 star hotels would never be like this one. This hotel needs urgent updates.. And do you know what answer you get from them? Literally nothing! Any hotel that is 5 star would make sure things like these are working and cleaned and would at minimum provide 5 star Costumer service. Special shout out to Mr Faizan who was very courteous and helpful at all times. However compared to the money being paid, the rooms are small and the bathroom even smaller. The shower area is so small that a claustrophobic person would never get in there. The bathroom really needs working on considering the fact that this is a 5 star hotel. And the service isn't great. They have so many guests checking in every day and I guess this makes them indifferent or too tired to be hospitable to each guest. Read less

Room are big and especially the luggage box room is very handy as it keeps your room clear of suitcases. Bath and toilets are very clean and spacious. Only one area where there is room for improvement. The breakfast buffet has plenty of different items but if you are from South Asian subcontinent, then you will feel disappointed because mainly the dishes are either Arabic and some European. The hotel was just brilliant, the location was around 300 yards from the Haram and ideal for the elderly travelling to and from the Haram performing the Umrah Rituals. The cleanliness of the accommodation and facilities were next to none. We had a room facing the Kabbah, what an amazing sight that was! The buffet breakfast, “Well what can I say! The variety was amazing. I don’t think I could identify all the dishes they were so plentiful. If shopping is a key feature of you pilgrim then rest assured you won’t get a better hotel than this! Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Only thing I would suggest is having the cleaners do a clean every day rather than having to ask every time. No major complaints. The room were also a decent size. The staff from reception to couple of the bell boys as well the cleaner Mr. Suboj & receptionist Mr. Haris were very helpful. They were also able to accommodate my request for a late checkout at 2pm. In terms of the negatives, I feel the toilets were too small & congested. The beds & pillows were very comfortable and I sometimes struggled to sleep as a result. Overall, I think it’s a great underrated property despite being ranked as a 3* but the facilities were good and the location was superb. I think the price could’ve been cheaper though as I paid a fair bit for it maybe because I booked very last minute. Read less

Exceptional Stay – My Favorite Hotel in Madinah! This was my second visit to Mysk Touch Al Balad Hotel in Madinah, and once again, it was an outstanding experience. I spent 10 nights here, and everything was absolutely perfect—just like my first visit. I’m already planning to book this hotel for my third stay during my next trip to Madinah! The beds are extremely comfortable, the toilets are always clean, and the cleaning staff are kind and attentive. The breakfast is excellent, with a great variety and quality to start your day right. I want to express my sincere thanks to Mr. Tahir Khan, who took such great care of me throughout my stay. His support and hospitality made a big difference in my experience. Also, a special thank you to the Guest Manager, Ms. Seba, for her exceptional care and attention. She went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her kindness and professionalism are deeply appreciated. If you are looking for comfort, excellent service, and a location very close to the Prophet’s Mosque, Mysk Touch Al Balad is one of the best options in Madinah. Highly recommended – 10/10! Read less

An Exceptional Stay at Mysk Al Balad Madinah – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mysk Al Balad Madinah, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was truly outstanding. The staff were warm, professional, and consistently attentive, always greeting with a smile and ready to assist with any request. My room was immaculate, tastefully furnished, and incredibly comfortable. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and I really appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including plush robes, premium toiletries, and complimentary bottled water. Housekeeping maintained the room to the highest standard throughout my stay. One of the most memorable aspects was the breathtaking view of the Green Dome of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Mosque, a truly spiritual and serene sight. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious and well-prepared options to start the day. The location is absolutely ideal, just a short walk from Masjid Al-Nabawi, which made attending prayers and exploring the area incredibly convenient. I will definitely be returning on future visits to Madinah, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mysk Al Balad to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality stay close to the heart of the city. I'd like to highlight Brother Suhail, the restaurant supervisor, an exceptionally kind and welcoming person. He made a point to visit every table, checking in to see if everything was okay or if anyone needed anything. Most importantly, he always had a warm smile on his face. The rest of the restaurant staff were also very pleasant and courteous. Mr. Javed, who was at the omelette station, stood out for his kindness and constant smile. We had a great stay at Mysk Al Balad. The hotel is clean, modern, and just a short walk to the Prophet’s Mosque — especially convenient for women’s and elderly persons. It’s right opposite to Gate No. 305 and Prophet’s Rawadah. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, close to shops and restaurants. Perfecto! I just visited with my wife and daughter to this hotel and it was very pleasant and enjoyed stay to this hotel even though we were mostly in Masjid Nabawi. The reception is very helpful and we were allowed to the early checkin (1 hour earlier). The location supperb just take a walk 5 minutes to the Haram Masjid Nabawi. The team is very helpfull as well without command they bring my bagage drop and pick up the goods until my room and vice versa. If any chance for sure will come back to this hotel. Read less

I stayed at this hotel for the second time last year and everything was perfect! At first we had an issue with the view at the room we stayed at and that was the only annoying thing but after speaking to the staff and explaining our situation, the staff was so nice to help us out!!! You can tell that they really care about their visitors! A special thanks to Taher, Sobuj and Sumon for their kindness, help and service! Another big thank you to the kind staff member who knew that I loved drinking apple juice and always brought it to my table from the kitchen even if it was not available in the dining room simply because he remembered who I was. I am sorry I couldn't ask you for your name but I will always remember the kind gesture!!! May Allah bless each and every one of you ameen. We were surprised to see the view from our room.They upgrade our room to Rozaha view.we are very thankful for this and we all enjoyed all 3 days in madina with the religious spirit. The hotel was very close to Rozaha.The staff was very nice.The breakfast buffet was very outstanding. We spent in this hotel for 10 days with my wife in February. The restaurant service was excellent, especially Big Thanks for Suhail. It has been taken care of us when we had flu on the fifth day stayed. he made us remedy ginger, lemon, and honey without asking, and he knew if his clients needed it . The terrible case this hotel was, I had issues with the digital key cards. I don't understand why they didn't realize it and fix it right away since the first issue. It will be fine for us if only one or three times problems, but the big matter was, from the 10th floor, I had to go down and up to the front Desk total 17 times in ten days stayed just to asked them to fix or reactivate it. It's seems they ignored the problem.Also, the last three days of stayed, I asked one of the hotel stuff managers (forgot his name) to switch another room. But he refused it. The best thing about this hotel it so close to Haram. But, if I had issues like this, it made distance away far and late to do on time jama'ah... Read less

Room service was great, but the receptionists were terrible. My daughter was having a terrible headache so I called the front desk and asked for an ice pack. An ice pack. They did not have one. So I was like, fine, do you at least have ice? Apparently they don’t have ice either. My husband had to go to the pharmacy near the hotel to get my daughter an ice pack. He complained at the front desk and left to go get her the ice pack. When he came back to the room, his key card didn’t work. They literally disabled his key card. Also, besides that, rooms were tiny. We got a room with four twin sized beds and the window was literally A fourth of the wall. We didnt get a good view or anything but whatever. Bathroom was tiny, you couldn’t really move around comfortably. But room service was great, always cleaned properly and everything. Read less

Just checked out today I must say agree with all the other reviews. Excellent customer service which is rare in Saudi. Breakfast was top of the range and the restaurant manager was simply awesome. Abu Shaheen in concierge arranged transport for me and my family at cost price. Beat all other quotes. He ensured all bags was duly collected from our room and loaded in the minibus. Anything you need just ask, another concierge person told me where to buy dates at a good price. I probably saved 400 SAR. So overall amazing hotel and service I am definitely rebooking them again insha allah. Read less

Restauran food are very good..A lot of variety you can choose.. only no coffee or tea provided during lunch and dinner. Staff very friendly. Alot of shop lot around the hotel. The location is excellent, directly across the entrance with full view of the green dome and close to the Raudah where you make salaam to Nabi SAW. It's on the opposite end of the ladies entrance to the Masjid so it's a small walk. Rooms were tidy, spacious and neat. Tiny fridge wasn't sufficient. Staff were friendly, service and food was excellent. I would stay here again. Read less
