I had a pleasant stay at Elaf Kinda. The management and reception staff were very nice and friendly, which made me feel welcome throughout my visit. I especially enjoyed the daily welcome drink at Level L — a lovely touch of hospitality.
The prayer room was comfortable and convenient, and I truly appreciated the “English Spa” toiletries by Gilchrist & Soames — they added a luxurious feel to the stay.
Overall, Elaf Kinda provides good service. However, I believe the housekeeping could improve; they only cleaned the room after being called. Also, the room was smaller compared to other luxury hotels, although its close proximity to Masjid al-Haram

Wonderful Stay at Elaf Kinda Hotel, Makkah – January 2025
We had a truly blessed experience staying at Elaf Kinda Hotel during our Umrah trip in January 2025. The hotel’s prime location near the Haram made it incredibly convenient to attend prayers and perform our rituals with ease.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and peaceful, and the staff was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the easy access to the mosque, which allowed us to focus on our worship without any hassle.
Overall, Elaf Kinda was the perfect base for our spiritual journey, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Makkah.

I stayed here with my family for 4 days and the hotel is fantastic. Very very close to Haram. Only 2 mins walk and your there. The prayers starts in front of the hotel so if your by any chance late you can easily pray just going out of the main door of the hotel. The always clean that road before prayer. The room service was amazing as everyone was well up to the task and always changed our towels and gave us water when we needed. The hotel check in process was great as I dealt with the front desk manager and he was excellent. The only drawback is the hotel do not have direct access to the road so you need to go to the clock tower underground where everyone gets dropped off and then use any of the elevators to go level 1 and walk less than a minute. If you call the hotel they will send a staff member there to pick you up from the clock tower drop off place underground. Overall a great hotel. Highly recommend

A fantastic hotel at a fantastic location. The front desk staff is very friendly and supportive.
The rooms are okay, the beds are bit smaller but comfortable.
The only problem is the access to the hotel as it is neither adjacent to access road nor the underground parkings. You have to walk with luggage to the nearby access road. Also sometimes the pedestrian access remains close specially closer to prayer times. Also staff were very polite and caring, Tito was an excellent manager at the hotel.
Overall very good experience.

Not a bad hotel, very close to the haram. Our rooms were very spacious with free WiFi and Air Con. There are two restaurants which we didn't really use except for breakfast. Staff are on hand to help and any queries / problems we had were resolved satisfactorily. Only downside is vehicles are not allowed up here so the luggage had to be carted in which the hotel staff did.

Hotel is at good location and its proximity to Haram is good advantage. Breakfast buffet is brief and good enough. Our family enjoyed the stay in general, however there are few scopes of improvement.
Front staff is bit unresponsive, request for luggage movement at checkout was not granted. There is no access for taxi or car parking, often guest has to travel long to get taxi. Housekeeping on call was not working, needed to remind them quite often. Room makeup was not done for our four days of stay that generally expected of a 3-5 star hotel. Hotel by look if quite old fashioned, however this or all above aspects can be ignored for comfort of walkable distance to Haram.

I would rate this 5 star hands down. Great customer service, great room service and fantastic breakfast buffet. But I am rating it 2 so people know that this hotel has no access for cars, buses or taxis. If you are carrying more than one suitcase then this hotel is not for you. You're taxi will not be allowed to cross the checkpoints. It's 30 min walk. The fourth checkpoint is strictly blocked for any people coming in. I showed the security my reservation and still he didn't let me pass. I was lucky to have found 2 guys who know the system I guess, and portered my two luggage to the hotel. And then when we checked out, same issue. My taxi couldn't clear any check points because it was a big van with no passenger. So the hotel bellman got my luggage all the way through 2 checkpoints. From there I had to hire a small taxi, load my 3 suitcases at this point, for SR 20 for a 2 min drive where my transportation was waiting for me. Just ridiculous how it's a nightmare with the no taxi access to the hotel. If you are not carrying any suitcases then it's the best hotel. Otherwise completely opposite. For families with luggage, please select any hotel inside the clock tower, they all have access to transport in the basement.
Ideal location for the Haram, shopping and essentials.
Professional staff, well mannered and English speaking for those who require it.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I stayed at Elaf Kinda for one night and can assure you that this hotel is far better than Pullman ZamZam and Rotana. The girl at the reception and her manager were super friendly. I was upgraded to Quadruple suite with partial haram view. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to our room due to Covid and it was as good as the buffet with omelette, hash brown, boil egg, croissant, cake, fruits and what not! The hotel is very caring and provided the best customer service I ever had in hotels in Makkah.

The hotel is fine and it's location is a big advantage as it is right next to haram but they cheap out on breakfast. The first day breakfast was decent but then a lot of guests arrived and they reduced the number of juices and the number of sweet items available in breakfast. Also the hot water for tea would run out and there was no replacement immediately available. They would pour 30 liters to water heater and it would take 20 minutes to heat the water. So your either wait that long or just give up the idea of tea.

We had a wonderful stay, and a big part of that was thanks to Abdul Hakim. He did an excellent job making sure our room was spotless and comfortable. The cleanliness was exceptional – the bathroom and toilet were thoroughly cleaned, and everything was left fresh and tidy.
Abdul was also incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed like spare towels etc... and ensuring our room was

Excellent service and cleaning like this really makes a difference – thank you, Abdul Hakim, for helping make our stay so enjoyable!

Stayed here December 2023 and it was a lovely stay. We weren't expecting much for a 3-star hotel but we were impressed by the standard and customer service. Our room was very spacious with two separate 'bedrooms' and a small kitchen which was very nice. The shower room was also very clean and spacious too. We didn't eat breakfast here so I cannot comment on that. The location is excellent, the hotel is very close to the ladies entrance/ prayer area to Masjid Nabawi, as well as all of the shops, restaurants and even pharmacies. Housekeeping staff were also very kind and helpful.

Their ‘Suhoor’ buffet ended almost a full HOUR before Fajr and when the lady behind us asked for water just after 4am (when fasting starts at 4:54am) they asked her for 6SR! Really poor way to treat people who pay good money for a SUHOOR buffet.
Food however had good flavours.
Reception was very rude and not friendly.
Broken items in our suite: towel holder, toilet seat, TV, kettle.
Not enough lifts for the number of guests they have, had to use stairs as queues for lifts were very long.
Location was the only thing good about this hotel as very close to Masjid An Nabawi.
Not worth the almost £1000/night we paid for this hotel as very poor service and customer service especially regarding the suhoor….kids were thirsty and hungry.

Location wise it's the best choice but other than that it's not worth the money I paid. The furniture and mirror had oily finger marks every where. Mirrors had some stick stuff. Even the bathroom door and frame had lots of splashes of dried up soap. Windows were so dirty from inside. I took my wipes and clean the whole thing as I wouldn't stay in such condition. I wasn't expecting this at all. So unhygienic. Rooms and hallways were so dingy. Carpet is disgusting.
They gave us complimentary fruits that was so nice of them.
My request to hotel management is to maintain a good cleanliness standard. Hotel itself is built nice but dirtiness killed the good vibe.

I would recommend this hotel if you want to throw your money in the toilet. Housekeeping came at 10:30pm EVERY night instead of coming during the day. The food made us sick every time without fail. Every time we tried to order room service, they tried to convince us to go to the buffet instead, and by the time the food got delivered to our room, it’d already be cold (we didn’t even get our correct order sometimes). There are 3 elevators but half the time only one was in service, and it was ALWAYS filled at capacity so we’d be waiting up to 20 minutes just to try to get on. Our room neighbours were always screaming in the middle of the night so we didn’t even sleep well, and reception did nothing about it.

I don’t even know where to start off. WORST hotel experience ever. As I came , to even get inside the area to go up to the lobby there was a huge line. The elevators take FOREVER, even though there are two different ones at two different locations. The hotel feels so cramped always a terrible scent within the hallways, and the room was the worst nightmare. Bed sheets have stains, carpets dirty, and a jungle of mess under the beds!!! Absolutely disgusting. Water heater was off the first day , someone came after 30 minutes and fixed it, the lights switch was behind my brothers pillow which was very annoying whenever he lay down. Rooms walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in the hallway and anyone walking by can hear anything you are saying in the room. There were flys and ants in the bathrooms. When my bags were dropped off the bell boy just rolled them to me aggressively and even hit my neighbors door and just left. There is a disturbing alarm that goes off every few hours even in the night time when you were sleeping. Employees say it’s no worry but alarm still went off for the 4-5 days I was there. Rooms never come with towels you always have to call and they take 20 minutes just to bring you towels. Rooms are so packed you have no room to store your luggage. Furthermore, back to the elevators , they take forever and are so tiny. The buttons to call for elevators are broken because of frustrating guests I am guessing. The restaurant they have smelled like dead fish every time you go there. And when I finally went to speak to the manager about this , he never apologized and told me to speak to my travel agent… I mean what kind of manager and hotel is this. This is not a hotel and more like a motel. I DON’T RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is very close to the Haramain. Within few minutes you are in the Haramain. The lifts are very very busy. It is also used to take luggage up which restricts guests from using some of them. You can wait for long periods before getting into a lift. Other guests cut their way through into the lift, so be prepared to be patient. Fortunately I stayed on the 3rd Floor so I was able to use the stairs, but for elderly guests it might be a problem. The breakfast starts little later then other hotels. The beds are also slightly smaller than other hotels. You have to remind house keeping daily to make up your room. Although these issues, I will only return if I get a booking on level 2 or 3. Otherwise the lift really stresses me out.

I had an excellent experience with my Zam Zam travel, thanks to the knowledgeable guides and professional organization throughout the journey. The guides were well-versed in the rituals of Hajj, offering clear explanations and spiritual insights that enriched every step of the pilgrimage. The travel agency managed all logistics efficiently making a potentially complex experience smooth and stress-free. Their attention to detail and commitment to service allowed me to focus fully on the spiritual aspects of the pilgrimage.

Alhamdulillah, I had the incredible blessing of performing Hajj with Zamzam Travels, and it was truly a wonderful and spiritually uplifting experience. I travelled with Brother Omar and Al Amin, and I can’t thank them enough for the care, guidance, and support they provided throughout the journey.
As a sister travelling for Hajj, I felt safe, supported, and respected at every stage. The organization and attention to detail were exceptional, from the accommodations and transportation to the religious guidance and group coordination. Brother Omar and Al Amin were always there with calm leadership and clear communication, making sure everything went smoothly for everyone.
Their sincerity and dedication made this journey even more special. It wasn’t just a trip—it was a transformative spiritual experience shared with a compassionate group and trustworthy guides.
I wholeheartedly recommend Zamzam Travels to anyone who’s planning their Hajj or Umrah. May Allah reward Brother Omar, Al Amin, and the entire team for their efforts and allow them to continue serving the Ummah with excellence.
Jazakum Allahu Khayran for an unforgettable Hajj journey.

I travelled for Umrah with my husband and our two daughters between 9–20 April with Zam Zam Travels, and I cannot praise them enough for the outstanding service we received from start to finish. I have travelled with them on two previous occasions and this was the third.
Like before on previous trips, from the moment we booked, Brothers Fahim and Sharif in the Birmingham office were incredibly supportive. They made sure we had all the information we needed, answered all our questions with patience and clarity, and helped us feel completely at ease ahead of our journey.
Once we arrived in Saudi Arabia, the care and support continued seamlessly. Brother Mahmood in Makkah and Brother Afsar in Madinah were both exceptional. They guided us through the completion of our Umrah as soon as we landed and offered continuous support to help us make the most of our time in Makkah and Madinah. Their knowledge, kindness, and dedication were truly appreciated. The Ziarats in both cities were especially moving and beautifully organised – a real highlight of the trip.
As a mother travelling with two daughters, I felt very reassured throughout. It was a deeply spiritual and memorable experience for our whole family, and a lot of that was down to the professionalism and warmth of the Zam Zam team.
Thank you so much — we look forward to booking our next trip with you again and highly recommend you to others planning their Umrah Hajj journey’s.

My family and I recently travelled for Umrah from 9–20 April through Zam Zam Travels, and I can honestly say the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. This was our second Umrah trip with Zam Zam, having also undertaken Hajj with them a while back too.
From the initial booking stage, Brothers Fahim and Sharif at the Birmingham office were incredibly professional and supportive. They made sure we had all the necessary information and documentation, and they were always available to answer our questions and put our minds at ease before travelling. Their attention to detail and warm approach gave us real peace of mind, especially with our tailored needs of dates and times of travel.
On the ground, the support continued with equal excellence. Brother Mahmood in Makkah and Brother Afsar in Madinah were both extremely helpful and approachable. From guiding us through the completion of our Umrah upon arrival to helping us maximise our time in both holy mosques, their knowledge and dedication made a big difference. The Ziarats in both cities were beautifully organised and added a deeply meaningful dimension to our trip, a useful and helpful reminder of the key historic sites and events in Islam.
As a parent, I really appreciated how smoothly everything ran. We were able to focus fully on our worship and spiritual experience without worrying about logistics. My family and I are truly grateful to Zam Zam Travels for helping us create another memorable and blessed moment.
Highly recommended — we would definitely travel with them again.

Alhamdulillah - just got back from our first Umrah Trip and it was wonderful from start to finish. Everything was seamless. Our leader (Abu Ubaydah) was so caring, thoughtful and inspiring. He was able to give us clear information on the Ziyaarats, check in on me and my family at various points throughout the trip and provide support whenever needed. The hotels were less than 5 mins walk from both Masjids and coaches were available when travelling certain distances. Inshallah we will be travelling with Zam Zam ltd. again in the future - Ameen. We have recommended this group to our relatives as well. We made great friends on the trip and as a first Umrah trip - it is experience I will treasure. May Allah (swt) bless you. Ameen.

Alhamdullilah, this was my first experience completing Umrah. I am so pleased to say that the whole journey was organised well, and ran smoothly day to day. Our group leader (Abu Ubaydah) was kind, considerate, thoughtful, and made sure to check in daily to see how we were feeling and doing. The ziyarats were completed via coach (as a group) and these were very insightful, but there was also opportunities to experience both Makkah and Madina independently from the rest of the team. As someone who can feel anxious about travelling, this truly was an incredible experience spiritually and I’m very thankful to Zam Zam ltd.
To mention also- the hotels at both locations were less than 2 minutes from the Haram and the Nabawi mosques, meaning we could access easily for prayers, and not get lost!! Alhamdullilah 🤲🏽

I have been to Umrah numerous times with Zam Zam Travels are trustworthy and outstanding. This time again, the services they provided were exceptional. From the preparation to the end of this spiritual journey – I was very impressed with them. Brother Sharif was very helpful and gave excellent service in the UK- He was very informative at all points of our preparations. Support was given in the whole e-visa process and managed to add my sister and my nephew at the last minute - Alhamdulillah. Reaching Jeddah, we were greeted at the airport, and Brother Mahmud got us to perform Umrah with ease. Brother Mahmud was understanding, supportive and always checked upon us. I wanted to do another Umrah and they provided information and supported me how to get to Masjid Aisha. The transition in going to Medina was done well as the transport was First Class. Brother Afsar was very helpful and always checked upon us, the organisation for the Ziyarat of the different Masjids in Madinah Munwarah were insightful and the Ziyarat to the Roza of the Muhammad S.A.W was done so efficiently that it was surreal. I would highly recommend Zam Zam Travels as they gave us excellent hotels which were very near to both Holy Places, the service provided was outstanding – will go again with them 😊. I am very grateful that they have made my dream come true and may Allah swt give them Barakah.

Recently went to Umrah using ZamZam Travels. Did not have one fault with travelling with these guys. They offered a Brilliant package which included staying in 5* hotels, which were all located near the Mosques, shopping malls and restaurants both in Mecca and Medina. Everything was walking distance which made life a lot easier for us all.The staff were all nice and friendly and looked after us all. Met some lovely people during this trip and it’s been an unforgettable, life changing experience, Alhamdulillah. Inshallah everyone gets an opportunity to go.

For Hajj We went with Zamzam travels through Al-Rajhi. Overall they weren’t helpful. The 5 days in Mina was Oke for us Alhamdulilah. It was managed in the best way possible by Al Rajhi. On the other hand a lot of elderly people were stranded and that could have been avoided. Customer service was horrendous by Zam zam travels - They really didn’t apologise for anything. Anyone booking Hajj- avoid Zamzam travels.
